Seeing that there was no escape, Roy's eyes turned resolute, and he activated his soul spell. Voss's first curse could immobilize his physical body but not stop him from activating his skills, abilities, and the special function of his physique or stop his heart from beating, not that he wanted. Roy has become his new obsession after the Female Siren. Voss labeled him as his new hope to escape the Ashen Land.

Roy's subspace opened up, and he pulled out all his runic weapons, fully intending to go against Voss. He wasn't confident about it, but because of his lord-rank physique, he believed that he would be able to give him a headache.

"Let's fight, you sick fuck!"

Using the world's energy, he slowed down his fall and grabbed his weapons with the intention to whoop Voss's ass.

Voss was surprised to see him move so freely when two of his curses were acting on him, but he didn't let that get to him and released a part of his soul towards Roy.
