Akari stood far away from the portal, watching things unfold with amusement on his face.
Demon Slayer constructs a fortress outside the portal, while Hashira watches over them in case the demon appears. It's still daytime, but they have no idea when the demon will cure their weakness.
What has just happened is exactly what he intended, by increasing the strength of the Corps and also he can gain dungeon points if they are killed.
He intended to send the portal to a nearby town so that civilians might strengthen themselves, but because he is only a level one authority, he can only release one portal at a time.

Akari chuckled and said, "Didn't you hear what I said? Seems like you need punishment."
"Oh," Shinobu just realized now because she is been to focus on the problem.
"Instead of punishment how about the reward..." A seductive smile appears on Shinobu's face as she slowly pulls him toward the Butterfly Mansion.
"Ehhh?!" Mitsuri starts blushing furiously and then follows behind.
And after that, a scream of pleasure and clapping sounded through the whole Butterfly Mansion.
The Demon Slayer blushed to hear this and some of them thought of peeking but realizing is Hashira doing that they quickly throw out the thought of their mind because they don't want to die yet.
Hashira, on the other hand, simply shook their head, as this was not the first time this has happened, and focused on the primary issue first.

2 years later, (This time when Tanjiro was done with his training)

Akari looked at the demon who had begun to turn to ashes and turned to the three goblins the first monster of his dungeon.
"We are done, boss!" Red Arrow responds.
"Finish," Black Hood nodded.
"Yes, boss!" Green Spear grin.
"Good now let's go there still more," Akari said as he looked at the shining sun.
Yes, Demons have finally discovered a remedy for their weakness that caused the world to become a godforsaken place one year ago.
Not only that, but Demon is now spreading like a plague around the world, not just in Japan.
When this happened, the government eventually accepted the Demon Slayer Corps, but the Corps rejected it and became an independent organization.
Even though the Corps currently has a hundred thousand members throughout the world, there are still only ten Hashira.
No one can become Hashira immediately if you are not talented or not a descendant of the stronger swordsman.
