An old man was sitting upright and was playing a game that he had bought the day prior.

He was about to beat that game which made him more excited. since the game required VR technologies, he had multiple pieces of equipment around him including the VR glass set which covered his eyes showing him the fictional world.

He couldn't feel anything else other than what was going on inside the game.

One might be surprised looking at him playing a game since he wasn't in his home or his office. He was in the hospital fighting against death but still he was playing the game in a carefree manner.

This was what surprised the people that were present in the same room.

Silence enveloped the whole room as they watched him playing the game enthusiastically.

Almost all of them present in the room were wearing luxurious black suits.

Without uttering a single word they kept looking toward him.

Yes, no one uttered a word after all they were here to meet just one man – Rex – the old man who was playing the game.

Ventilators and breathing apparatus were hanging off of him and the machine that was placed just next to him was showing signs of his heart being weak. But at the same time, the heartbeat would rise suddenly because of the sudden enthusiasm of playing the game or getting into some tricky and exciting parts.

As time went by, the beeping of the machine started to get quieter, and just by looking at it, they could say that his end was near.

"The heart rate is low despite the high release of adrenalin?" – said one of the men who stood there watching him continue the game.

Others nodded and sighed in pity while gazing at the monitor.

"Yes!" – Rex shouted.

He beat the game that was released the day earlier and was happy. But there was a hint of sad expression too.

While removing the VR glass set, he murmured – "Nowadays I'm frequently visiting the hospital…"

"Looks like old age is finally affecting me…" – he was an 89 years old man after all.

Seeing the fact that he beat the game, one of the clerks among the people came forward and said, "Sir, I've brought another game that was released by our company just today."

"I hope you enjoy this as well," he said.

The clerk wasn't kind-hearted nor was he someone who would spend money as a charity, all he liked was to show off and probably that was why he gave the game to Rex in front of all.

In any case, Rex, who was respected by many CEOs and businessmen, passed away the same day while playing the game – of course, after beating the new game.

The crying of a child could be heard. After all, the child was born a few seconds ago.

A maid looked towards the great King, Victor Alexander Suoll, who was standing there and said, "Congratulations Your Highness, you have been gifted with a baby boy!"

Alex's eyes sparkled and his joys knew no bounds.

"My goodness!", he carried the baby in his hands and said this.

His eyes were teary at the sight of the boy who was born just a moment ago.

"He is quite light though.", was what he said.

"Your highness, please be careful. The child was just born so you should handle him with care.", The maid sad as she looked at the king.

"Haha, I was just a bit excited.", he said with a hint of happiness in his voice as his eyes paused on the baby.

He just couldn't take his eyes off of him.

Queen Elina, the wife of the great Alexander Soull, with a clear joys expression all over her face looked at the baby

"I'm so happy…"

Her feeble voice echoed which was understandable since she gave birth to a baby just a moment ago.

"Name…", Queen Elina mumbled with a feeble voice seconds after which, Alex named him.

"From today onwards his name shall be Rex Suoll!"

Queen Elina smiled after hearing that. She said, "Rex… It's a wonderful name."

Both were quite happy. It was as if all the happiness of their lives was enveloped in a single movement.

While they thought that they had given birth to a normal boy, they were completely wrong. The reason was simple –

'Huh…?'

'Wha-'

'What just…?' – as soon as he realized that there was something wrong, he stopped crying.

Alex was still holding him while smiling but that didn't change the fact that the baby was an old man so obviously he would feel weird.

'Who is this handsome man!?' – was the first thing he asked while looking at Alex.

The bright red hair just like fire and ruby-like red eyes added a weird charisma to him. Alex seemed like a perfect man to him.

He wanted to ask him to put him down so he tried to speak, but unfortunately, he failed to do so.

'What the heck is going on?' – he questioned himself.

For now, he had become quiet, quieter than anyone. While everyone rejoiced, he tried to figure out what had happened exactly.

He had no problem figuring out the language because he could almost immediately understand what Alex and the maids were speaking. The only problem he faced was speaking since the control over his tongue and his vocal cords hadn't been achieved yet.

In order to understand what exactly had happened, if whether he was in a dream or just some other game, he started to think about many things at the same time.

He did decide to take it slow, but yet again, he couldn't help but wonder, just what was happening around him. Was he trapped in a dream perhaps?

With the same thought, an year passed as he tried to figure out the exact reason while doing his best to not do anything extraordinary to catch someone's attention.

As mentioned, a year passed by with almost nothing happening, and by nothing, it meant that there were no abnormal changes in Rex's growth.

He just grew normally and behaved perfectly and probably that was the only thing that stood out.

While most kids would throw tantrums many times, he would barely cry – that was the only abnormality. But oh well, he would sometimes act that part out too.

He figured out many other things during the one-year time – about his reincarnation and about the world into which he was reincarnated.

'I can't believe I died back then and got reincarnated…'

'But this is too good to be real…'

'I mean, in games and animes, we sure expected that there would be another world with magic, but who knew that this would be true?'

His thoughts ran wild all the time since this was no small matter.

'So, let's get it clear…'

'My dad is Victor Alexander Suoll, the second strongest King in the entire continent of Renioa and the ruler of Kingdom Rhone.'

'Whereas mom, Elina Suoll, is third strongest Queen in the entire continent…'

'However there is another ranking which doesn't qualify based on genders and based on that, dad is fourth-strongest and mom is ninth strongest in the entire continent.' – this was something that Rex had learned by hearing the soldiers speak many times.

Also, the books that would be in the library aided his knowledge. Of course, he secretly read them.

In any case, these were only small pieces of huge knowledge that he had got.

While he was busy the past year learning about the world, his father and mother made out.

Yes, another child was on the way which Rex had a complete idea about.

And on a fated day, the child was born – it was a girl.

This time there was a different maid. She held the girl in her hands and said, "Congratulations master, you've got a daughter, she is cute..."

"What!?", he received the girl with his shaky hands.

"A girl!?" – Alex was probably the happiest out there.

He did expect another boy, but a girl was not a small matter to him. He felt much happier.

Elina immediately asked, "Let me see her."

Elina was quite excited to see it. She had more strength this time after giving birth when compared to earlier.

Alex, who had the young baby in his hands, handed it out to Elina.

Looking at the baby Elina's eyes were sparkling like gems and all her pain seemed to fade away.

"She is too pretty just like a flower. Dear what should we name her?", she was eager to name her too just like Rex.

While this was going on, Rex was sleeping beside Elina, who upon hearing all this, suddenly opened his mouth and said, "Julia!"

He wasted no time at all in calling her that. Yes, this came as a surprise to both Elina and Alex because they never expected their son to speak all of a sudden.

If he had been speaking earlier, or if he had tried to speak earlier, it wouldn't have been that big a surprise.

However, taking into account the fact that he never once tried to speak, this surely came as a surprise!

They wanted to know why he called her that, and the biggest question – How did he speak? – they wanted to ask all that, however, Rex pretended that he was asleep.

So they let it slide and said nothing more.

Usually, no one other than the maid or a nanny is allowed to the birth room – the room in which ladies give birth– however, Rex and Alex barged in after they heard the sound of a baby crying.

Of course, she had already given birth so it was fine but oh well, some time should have been given for the Queen to rest.

Alex, with happiness, said, "Very well her name from today shall be Julia Suoll."

Elina was staring at her.

"She is so cute that I want to keep on watching her."

Alex and Elina had completely forgotten to notice any changes in Rex. The so quiet one had suddenly spoken – they were surprised by that for sure, but Julia's cuteness was far more noteworthy when compared to his speaking.
