1. Beta Realm: The beta realm is another dimension similar to Earth, but has long back experienced the advent of portals.

2. Beta Humans: The humans of the beta realm.

3. Beta Monster Classifications: The beta humans had developed a naming system to classify each and every monster in the portals. They used numbers in the name of species to express the amount of strength (not relevant to the STR stat) required to defeat the species. For example, a monster with 100 in it's name would be substantially weaker than a monster with 200 in it's name. Monsters are classified with 5 forms of numbers; namely, the 100s, the 200s, the 300s, the 400s, and the 500s.

4. Monster's revealed:

-TR300s: TR stands for Tyrannosaurus Rex, since this species is similar to dinosaurs, they are called so. They are about 45 feet tall, and are often seen in batches. Nonetheless, the T in their name also refers to the fact that they are tamable. The 300 in their name indicates that they are mildly strong.

-Ogres: 15 feet, obese monsters who look similar to pigs. They have two large teeth present in their lower jaw which stick out of their mouths and are valuable ingredients for making potions (medicine capable of healing nearly all wounds). This race is only comprised of males. If a number were to be classified for ogres, it would be 200. Their complexion is green and they wear a huge curtain-like cloth over their legs.

-TD100s: A bunch of hounds similar to dogs, but far worse. Their teeth are sharp enough to break bones. TD stands for Tamable Dogs, and the 100 in their name indicates that they are weak species. Since they are seen in packs, it is fairly difficult to fight them.

-DG500s: A monster in the form of a gas. The overall foundation of this monster makes it look similar to ghosts and hence it was named DG500. The D denotes 'do not approach' whereas the G in its name denotes ghosts. Initially, they are about the size of an average human, however, as they absorb more souls, they can expand further. The only way to kill such a monster is to break its hard, impenetrable core. The 500 in their name denotes their strength to be amongst the strongest.

-Goblins: The weakest monsters of all. They have a height similar to that of a ten-year-old child and sustain a similar amount of strength. They aren't intelligent, but function well as an army in the presence of a goblin king. Their faces are similar to disfigured humans, and they wear small shorts made out of jute, or pieces of cloths torn from their victims to cover themselves. Goblins are all males.

-Hobgoblins: Their attire is similar to a goblin. They are three times taller than goblins, and are a rare breed in their species. Hobgoblins are born in the form of goblins, however, as they grow older they grow stronger.

-Goblin Champions: They are similar to ogres, but are way more viscous. They have protruding bellies and a 20 feet tall height. Their facial characteristics are similar to goblins, and they usually equip themselves with huge wooden clubs, made out of tree trunks. They are ten times stronger than hobgoblins, but only retain brute strength. Their WIS is comparatively low.

-Goblin Kings: They look similar to goblins, however, they are far stronger. They are smart, and can lead the pack. A goblin king retains a large amount of experience and wisdom. A goblin hoard with a goblin king is strengthened 4 fold. They are usually 6 feet tall, and even though they can't compare to hobgoblins in strength, they cover that up with their intelligence.

-Goblin Mages: They are similar to goblins in looks, however, they have the ability to use magic. Goblin mages mainly have the ability to cast simple spells, such as STR buffs, WIS buffs, and healing spells. Some goblin mages have the extraordinary ability to use wind magic, but their attacks are oftentimes weak.

-Ogre General: A 16 feet tall ogre with a well built body. They're way stronger than the rest of their species, and are far more aggressive than ogres.

-Ogre King: Ogre kings are red in complexion. They look similar to an ogre general, but are way stronger. They are adorned with a crown made out of bones and a necklace of teeth.

-Demons: The strongest mortals in the underworld. They are beings of rock and lava, that are present in a humanoid shape. They are about 7 feet tall, and have facial features that could be observed on noticing them well. Above their heads, they have two horns, made out of solid rock. Demons were dead souls that ventured to their final resting place. Whether they were kind or evil in their past lives, was unknown. The demons have a variety of abilities. They can breath fire and have the strength of a Demigod. They can walk on lava, and can run with an extraordinary speed. Demons were more or less perfected beings who could fight through almost any situation.

-Parademons: They look similar to demons. They are about 5 feet tall, and are made of rock and lava. They have two horns made of solid rock. They retain a strength greater than a level 3 hero, but less than a Demigod. Their STR stat is around 2,500. What separates them from the demons is the fact that they have wings. Their wings are made out the same material as their body.

-Orcs: The species that existed 500 years ago, and went extinct. Some say that they evolved into goblins and ogres, and some say they were annihilated. They are 15 feet tall beings with dark grey skin. Similar to the ogres, they have two tusks present on their lower jaw, which stick out of their mouth. They wear animal skin. Their strength varies and so does their looks. Some orcs are strong and well built, while others are obese and yet still, have well built arms. Orcs are believed to have both genders, male and female (This was studied in the beta realm by observing their bone structure).

5. Monster's genders: Most monsters are gender less and reproduce using artificial means. (The artificial means will be later introduced in the chapters.)

7. Status: Statuses explain a hero's power and a hero's capability. They are divided into the following categories:

-HP: health power. It denotes the amount of health a hero has. Lower the health, more the damage. As the health bar lowers, the hero's strength decreases.

-MP: magic power. The greater the magic power, the better. Depending on the amount, skills can either be easily used, or become tougher. A larger set of skills become available when the hero has a larger amount of MP.

-STR: strength. Can only be obtained through hard work and dedication. Training one's body is the best method to increase strength. However, some potions can increase strength temporarily. The level cap for strength is different from other stats. It denotes the potential of a person's strength.

-STM: stamina. An increased stamina makes it easier for a hero to move, and increases the speed with which a hero moves.

-WIS: wisdom. Greater the amount of wisdom, the easier it is to deal with situations. A large amount of wisdom results to a better understanding and an exponential growth in one's potential.

-LUK: just plain old luck.

Effectiveness of [Red Shadow] is increased two times when eyes glow.
