"Well I got to go, ill talk to you later, mum's calling me downstairs to eat"| Miki

She lays back on her bed looking up at the ceiling.

I wonder, does he think about me?

Does he miss me?

What did I do to make him leave?

She turns to her side taking her plushy and hugs it, keeping it close to her chest, she takes her phone up and looks at the time.

6:59am

First day of my last year of high school

Beep beep beep

She sighs and turns the alarm off and gets up.

Its 2:00am in his time zone...it has been 1 month now.

Her head drops with a sigh, she walks to the bathroom lazily and brushes her teeth looking in the mirror, observing herself

Ugly

Fat

Disgusting

No wonder he left you

She closes her eyes and walks out of the bathroom to her room and puts her uniform on, she brushes her hair while looking in the mirror

Ugly hair why do you even bother brushing it, he might have liked your hair but look where you ended up, alone, broken

Stop it, no...

She went downstairs and put on her shoes, opened the door, it was raining.

She reached her hand out, feeling the cold drops of rain hitting her hand.

I should probably take my hoodie

She takes off her blazer and puts on her hoodie.

Looking around she saw some familiar faces, she also saw some new faces, who were obvious new. After all it is a new year, won't be surprised if there's new people in our year group either.

She reached the two, very familiar gates, she entered and made her way to the automatic doors, she stopped, and they opened, she went in taking in a breath of the very familiar smell.

"Morning Vera"

She looked up, it was her year group manager "morning sir" she said with a slight smile "you sure have grown since year 7" he said holding the papers closer to his face with teary eyes

She let out a little chuckle, well he surely didn't change

"Verrrr" she turned around getting tackle hugged down to the ground.

"Kya" Vera known as Ver yelped

"Now, girls we don't want to get injured on the first day back" they looked up at Mr Grace, their group manager

"Heyy" a girl came in running and pointed at the two girls who were getting up from the ground "You guys were supposed to wait for me" she put her hands to her knees panting

"Sorry" both of them said in unison.

"The bells about to go, go to your lockers before it goes off"

"Okay sir" three of them said "and girls" they were about to go but turned around and faced him

"Lets not get in trouble this year again" the girl's stared at Mr

Grage blankly, it finally hit them and realized what he was talking about, they laughed awkwardly

These girls's were the troublemakers in this group year, they did some crazy things, from throwing bags over the balcony's, (nearly hitting someone's head) to skipping and running out of school

They shifted away to a side Mr Grage watching them with a blank stare, and he sighed "this is going to be a rough year" he whispered with a little laugh

"Ready to get in a lot of trouble girl's?" Both Vera and Scarlet looked at Della, they gave each other a smirk

"Of course"

"Hell yea"

The bell rang and the girl's decided to go late, they took their time to get to the lockers, they put their Jacket's/hoodies in their lockers and taking out their bags

"You guys didn't do an any of your homework did you" they looked back at Zabel "of course we didn't we left our bags in our lockers since we were too lazy to bring them home" they laughed "guess we'll see each other in detentions" said Scarlet "like hell, we'll run out like we always do" said Della,Vera nodded her head

"Then we'll meet each other outside near the corner shop" said Vera

"Fine"

"Sure"

"I'm cool with that"

They made their way to their mastery's lesson, this is the only time the whole year group is together,

The A'band would sit on the left side while D'band would sit on the first right side.

A'band was full of the good and smart people while D'band was full of troublemakers and bad graders.

Vera went from D'band to A'band.

Zabel, Scarelt, Della

Still remaining in D'band

They opened the door and all eyes fell on them, including the principal that was giving his "welcome back" speech, Mr Grage sighed and then continued to give our people their timetable.

The head teacher continued his speech once the girls sat down, Scarelt,Della,Zabel sitting next to each other while Vera sat on the other side of the room with A'banners

"Your late" Firo whispered to Vera "and your surprised?"

"Actually, nah not really" he whispered little louder

"Shush" they looked at the teacher, and then she walked off, they tried to contain their laughter but failed.

Firo was Vera's Ex-boyfriend, there were few arguments between the two's group of friends but decided to put everything behind them and start all over and become friends.

The day went on normal, the girl's getting chased my teachers, going to lessons, lunchtime came around ending up getting detentions for an hour plus the homework detention, there was no way they were staying for an hour and 30 minutes.

The last lesson of the day is nearly coming to its end.

Knock knock

Everyone looked at the door, there was a teacher with other students behind him "come in" the teacher said, he opened the door and leaned against the door frame "May I please have Vera?" The teacher looked at Vera who was already packing her stuff, it was time for the detention, well actually time to run off from the detention.

She got up and went out of the class, she looked around

woah that's a lot of people, and this is only the first day back and already so many people on detention's

The teacher started to walk forward knocking on another door, Vera saw her chance and took it, she turned around and started to walk faster, she walked past her class with the students watching her, she went down the staircase to her locker, she took her hoodie out and put her bag in it

Vera took off her blazer and put on her hoodie then she put her blazer back on hiding her face with the hoodie hat and causally walked out, the bell rang signaling the scholars and teachers it's the end of the day, Vera waited outside for Scarlet, Scarlet was her cousin and would normally go and come home from school together

Where is she, she's taking her time

Vera thought to herself as she leaned against the gates

Oh shuzle, we were supposed to meet up at the corner shop

Vera got off the gates and started to walk, her head was down low not paying attention to her surroundings, she looked up and saw her friends hanging around the corner shop she smiled and was going to cross the road, she didn't notice a car was coming her way.

Everything was in slow motion her friends watching in terror, Vera took a glimpse of the car that was about to hit her, her eyes getting all teary

no not today...not today, i don't want to die today not yet

She felt something warm around her waist, it was a pair of hands pulling her back, they fell down on the ground with a thug, everything was silent for a second before there were screams of her friends running towards her.

Vera didn't pay attention to nothing but the person who was in front of her, she couldn't believe her eyes, he smiled at her and kissed her head

It felt warm, and nice, his arms wrapped around her tighter, she would just look at him tears bottling up in her eyes

There's no way… I must be already dead?

"S-sammy" she suttered with tears streaming down her face
