2 Chapter 2

In her childhood, she used to wonder if perhaps that girl in her dreams was some acquaintance or perhaps someone she would meet later in her life. Those questions never had an answer, so the only thing she could do back then was not to think about it too much as sooner or later she would give up her dreams.

But now that he had seen her out of his dreams, he was completely certain that it was not a coincidence or just a figment his imagination had created to be able to talk to someone who would not judge him, who would be there for him when necessary. She was someone like him who, perhaps, also saw him in his dreams. With some luck, he would live in that girl's dreams just as she lived in hers.

— okay? What happened?—. Wang tian quickly asked the most common questions, as if he had an answer. He slowly rose on the floor, raised his head, and closed his eyes a little.

His colleagues helped him get up and sit in a chair brought by one of the paramedics who were assisting him that day. Ji Syaoran thanked him and let the paramedic attend to him.

— I'm fine, I'm fine—. He said when the light of the lamp irritated his eyes. Wang tian, who had stood next to him, looked at him in annoyance.

— you fell off a moving motorcycle, silly boy. Let him do his job well—. The eldest rebuked him. Ji Syaoran sighed and stopped moving.

The paramedic finished his examination a few minutes later.— Okay, it was just a few minor hits, I'll give you something for the headache and you'll have to rest for today. You must be more careful.— The paramedic warned, then bowed and left.

— you slept well? Did you have breakfast?—. Wang tian began the interrogation. Syaoran sighed.

— yes, yes... I just got distracted for a moment, it was nothing.— He said downplaying his importance. Wang tian did not seem very convinced with the answer.

— Distracting you? Well, if that's what it's all about then...—. The trainer hit the careless pilot's head.

— Auch! Hey! It hurts, idiot! —. He complained. Tian folded his arms.

— Concentrate! You cannot be 'distracted' in this place. If you don't concentrate while you're in the air you're going to die, I don't want to have to pick up your dead butt and deal with your parents, just because you were "distracted" —.The sarcasm in his voice was quite obvious. The young runner under the gaze of the clear rebuke of his temporary coach.

Ji Syaoran made a face in disapproval.

— Now long! Go! Rest and see you tomorrow.— He said before pushing him out and throwing his stuff at him.

Syaoran looked for the keys to her motorcycle inside her suitcase, not finding them, she looked at her coach. — And my keys?

— You can't drive, you hit your head, you're not fit. Call Qian Yue, tell him to come for you or walk to the subway—. He responded quickly and then returned with the rest of the runners. Ji Syaoran frowned and cursed in a low voice.

He was about to call Qian Yue when his phone started ringing, the song he had as a ringtone put him in a good mood. He quickly answered the call.— Mom?

—A-ran, we've been calling these days, why don't you answer?—. Her mother's voice sounded worried. Ji Syaoran felt bad about not having answered their calls.

—Sorry, I have to practice for the competition—. In part it was true, the training for the 2020 fim motocross world championship, in which he would participate, was quite demanding, and due to Richard's recent injury, they had to change coaches, which caused a delay in the preparation of the competitors.

Between Richard's injury, the momentary stop of the practice, and his sleep problem, not to mention that he could see the girl he had dreamed of since childhood out of his dreams. His parents should not have known all that, much less that he had had an 'incident 'today.

— Remember to rest and eat properly—. His mother said in a soft tone of voice. Ji Syaoran smiled.

— I'll do it. How are they?—. He asked at the time he started walking.

— We're fine. Your father keeps trying to convince your aunt to live with us so he can take care of her. Darling, we'll go to Chengdu at the weekend, to see your aunt—. Syaoran closed her eyes and made a face in anticipation of what her mother would surely ask of her.

— Before you ask, may I tell you why it would be a bad idea?— He spoke quickly. His mother laughed at him.

— No, your cousin will stay with you these weeks, she will arrive on Friday, be on time, and do not make her wait.—His mother said, Syaoran sighed with resignation.

— Okay—. He answered a little annoyed.

— I must go, take care of you, honey, I love you—. His mother's loving voice made him smile. He missed his parents, but he also liked the independence he had gained.— I love you too, say hello to daddy for me— The call is over.

He walked for several minutes, listening to a melody through the hearing AIDS. When I get to the metro station I wait on the platform for the next train. It was when he saw the same morning girl next to his neighbor.

Just a few steps from him, the girl was wearing the same helmet she was wearing when she saw her hours before, but this time she could see what she had written on it.

'the heart is like a flower'

The phrase was written with a permanent pen, whoever wrote it had done it quickly. That helmet for some reason was familiar to him and it was not why he had seen it in the morning as he left the parking lot. It was just strange

Just as he was approaching to inquire about the hull, the train arrived at the station and was able to board quickly. He stopped thinking about it as soon as the train doors closed.

There were not too many stations but he still decided to sit down during the trip. What expected was to fall asleep.

He opened his eyes and saw a familiar landscape, it was the same place in his native Wùxī of his dreams. The same trees, the same paved road, and the white lights that adorned the place during the night, only that during the day, the lights remained off.

Snow covered the ground and his shoes made noise while walking, he wore a blue coat with purple spots, something he wore only once at an exhibition event of his sponsors.

Snow covered the ground and his shoes made noise while walking, he wore a blue coat with purple spots, something he wore only once at an exhibition event of his sponsors.

— Hey, sully!—. He heard her friend scream a few meters away. He smiled a little before turning around and seeing her in front of him.

The girl was wearing a black coat with a golden belt around her waist, gloves, and a red wool cap. Ji Syaoran thought that if she could see her face she would probably be the most beautiful woman she would have the pleasure of seeing.

— Oh, Wazowski!—. How long without seeing us?" He spoke as he approached the girl. She made a falsely offended face.

— What did you kill sully's father to get that coat? Where did you get that?—. She asked, trying to fit his coat's neck while looking at the blue and purple clothes with disgust.

— You don't know about fashion, this coat is great—.. Ji Syaoran walked around and let her friend see the horrible coat. She laughed softly.

— It's horrible, no one in their right mind would use it—. She looked at him a few seconds before shaking her head and talking again.— well, I'm not the one using it anyway, so it doesn't matter. Did you fell off the motorcycle, why?

—hey? Did you see that?—. Normally they could not see what the other did in the course of the day, rather, they knew certain details from the walks in their dreams, where they talked about their day to day.

— Yeah. I was in the publisher's office reading a draft when I saw you. At first, I was scared but then I was more concerned about whether you were ok than seeing you out of my dreams—. She answered quietly as she always did. Syaoran watched her in awe for a few seconds.

— you... do you dream of me too?—. The girl of his dreams nodded. The rider smiled—. I thought it was just me who dreamed of you.

— No. Well, I thought the same, after all, they are dreams. But what happened today made me doubt a little

— Can you see my face?—. He asked between frightened and excited. The girl denied.— 'I see.'

— But are you well?' Why are you sleeping so early?—. From his tone of voice, he imagined she must have been worried.

— I'm fine, it wasn't serious. I'm going home on the subway, I fell asleep, what about you?—. He answered.

— I fell asleep in my office, I didn't sleep much last night, but that's apparently your fault—. She tapped his shoulder. Syaoran took his hand.

— Are you also awake at 3 o 'clock in the morning?

—yes, so do you?—. The boy nodded and started walking without letting go of his partner's hand.— that's strange, isn't it?

— Perhaps we are kindred souls—. He answered amused by the situation. The girl laughed.

— sure! Yeah, That makes sense!—. She exclaimed sarcastically.

—It may be our destiny to be together—. The boy brought her closer to him to wrap her in a hug. She wrapped her arms around his neck.

— Isn't that what your fans say to that actress you worked with on that variety show?—. He questioned again. Ji Syaoran sighed.

— ah! Not again, I've been screwed up with the same thing since we were together on that show—. He spoke with obvious tiredness.

A few years ago, when he began to become popular in the motocross world, he was invited to a variety show along with other of his outstanding peers and some actors who were beginning to be important in the industry. Among them was a young actress who had become popular for her performance in a period drama.

Her name was Zhao Li Ming, the actress was Linda and she had met her before but she never said a word until she was on that show and then on a campaign as motocross ambassador to China. Ji Syaoran had the appearance of an actor and apparently, he and Zhao Li Ming had quite a lot of chemistry.

Both his fans and Zhao li Ming fans thought they looked good together and started with rumors, theories about them, and a lot of content about them on social media. To this day they're still the same, no matter if he's not an actor or a juvenile idol. As long as I had a pretty and outstanding face for them it didn't matter.

Media chaos on Weibo and other social networks had cost him some important motocross events, although the sponsors went crazy, so much so that even now it was the official image of an important energy drink. They also had some work proposals to participate in some dramas or as a mentor in a reality about motocross.

Until now, Ji Syaoran had not accepted any work, as deviating from his running career was not in his plans. Even their friendship with the actress was on hiatus, for the time being, the two did not want any rumors about them, right now that their respective careers were at a high point.

— wait, do you know who I am?—. Syaoran remained silent waiting for her answer. He felt her friend's body tense up a little.

— No, I didn't know exactly, but I had an idea who you could be. With what you said a moment ago, I'm completely sure now—. The girl did not break her embrace, on the contrary, she clung more strongly to him.

Syaoran on the other hand was too engrossed in her heartbeat and the ringing in her ears. She not only saw him in her dreams but also had found him outside of them.

— Ji Syaoran?
