1 Yue

"Yue" a deep mellow voice called her name.

Yue seemed to be stirred by the inexplicable emotions mixed in that voice that her eyelids started to flutter.

When she woke up, she found herself trapped in the gaze of the man who was standing by the side of her bed.

Yue can't help but but frown when she saw those worried eyes.

Unconsciously, her hand moved trying to reach the man's head but he's too tall that her hand just held his hand and try to comfort him.

"It's okay, I'm okay, don't be sad" she coaxed with her slightly hoarse voice.

The man was stunned for a moment but upon hearing her difficulty, reached for the side table and poured her a glass of warm water.

He carefully supported her as he delivered the glass to her lips.

"Thank you. You are?" Yue looked innocent while asking the question but she noticed that the man was somewhat surprised from what he heard.

"You lost your memory" he was mumbling by himself but didn't seem to doubt the situation.

His sister fell from the top of the stairs a couple of days ago.

In fact, she fell head first that the doctors didn't expect that she would still be able to keep her life.

But surprisingly, she contacted minimal bruise and no head injury, however, it still might have caused a brain trauma that resulted to her memory loss.

"I'm your brother, Yyan. You're name, do you remember?" Yyan wanted to know more of his sister's condition.

"Uhn, Yue- Yue Crest" Yue answered almost immediately.

Yyan nodded in acknowledgement. It seemed that there's a high possibility of regaining his sister's memory.

"Is there anything else that you can remember?" Yyan was trying to gauge the severity of the situation.

"Everything is vague. There's just that slight feeling of pain in my heart. I can't explain. Sometimes it's suffocating that I wanted to cry" this was during the time when Yue is still unconscious.

It's like she's struggling whether to get out of the darkness or continue to be swallowed.

The truth is, she's was originally called Moon, another style for the name Yue.

She's a spirit from a different body that committed suicide by jumping from the 27th floor of a hotel because she was drugged by a person who wanted to set up a scandal for her.

It's not that she didn't want to live anymore, she was actually hoping she can survive, but she knew the chances of surviving that fall is almost nil.

This is her desperation, rather than to suffer in the hands of an animal and live in shame.

Moon already accepted that she will never wake up again in this lifetime only to discover that her spirit occupied the body of another girl with the same name, in the same world, who died at the same time.

She received some of the previous owner's wishes and memories.

She didn't totally deceived the brother of Yue when she said she can only remember vaguely.

It's like there's a seal on most of Yue's memories especially during her childhood days and what was left is the strong impression of bitterness and pain she experienced for the past years.

For the past couple of days, Moon, kept her eyes shut, trying to get the most out of the scraps of memory that might help her in pretending to be Yue.

Surprisingly, she and the original owner have a lot in common.

If only their personality didn't differ.

Although Moon is also aloof, but she's still confident, unlike Yue who wanted to isolate herself in fear.

As for how Yue developed that kind of psychology, Moon will never understand unless she unravel the sealed memory.

Moon knew that the doctor might have an idea that she's already awake but she refused to open her eyes without an initial plan.

They can only wonder why she remains unconscious despite her active internal activity.

Moon decided that it would be better to just pretend to have an amnesia to further avoid scrutiny from Yue's brother who's like a tiger guarding its cub.

Then she will break the impression of Yue's self and integrate her own self.

But Yue almost lost herself when she was greeted with those pair of dazzling eyes, good thing she managed to calm down after he gave her water.

"It's alright, you don't have to pressure yourself to remember" Yyan knew that it won't do any good to insist on recovering the lost memory. It is more important to regain his sister's health before taking other measures.

"Let me call for the doctor. You should lie down first, you're still weak" he awkwardly placed his hand briefly on her head before going out.

Moon closed her eyes and an unconscious small grin appeared on her lips.

In her previous life she was always alone, with no family nor genuine friend. Now, she can't help but be thankful that she was given an awkward but caring brother.

Moon didn't expect that the owner's brother would show a lot of care for her situation.

Based on the memories she inherited, he seemed to stay away from his sister's business.

When their parents died, he was sent away to train, and when he finally retrieved his sister from their relatives, he still didn't show much concern since he always stayed in the company.

Besides doing company related activities, Moon discovered that the Crest family is still involved in the dark dealings of the Royal Family.

Such a busy person actually spared some time to check on her situation, this thing has never happened before.

Moon was secretly flattered, but she also pitied Yue because she never get to enjoy such attention from her brother.

So there's a slight vigilance in Moon's heart.

Yyan Crest.

She was once fortunate to see the man from a distance when she attended an event as a fashion model.

But she knew that the ocean wide difference in their status forbid her to ever reach the man.

Not that she was interested in being together with him, but knowing that he was such a capable man that was able to handle the hegemon of the century old Crest Family, which is one of the founding clan of the country, Yue can't help but to admire him.

Who would ever thought that after she "died" she would get the chance to encounter him face to face and even live as his sister?

Moon knew she can't continue to pretend in this lifetime.

But she will try to get along with the man, try to make him understand how his sister longed and cared for him, so that when everything comes to light, he might consider giving her a lighter punishment.

No matter what the reason he suddenly took an interest in showing his concern for his sister, Moon would have to take advantage of this, to get the most out of this second life that was given to her.

Being an orphan, she never get to experience the warmth of being in a family.

Despite having other children with her, but she's never the one to get along well with her peers.

Her natural icy demeanor stops them from approaching her and caused them to isolate her.

Since she was discovered early by a scout, this further created a marginal rift between her and them and for the girls in the orphanage to get jealous of her.

She is now Yue Crest.

And Yyan Crest, since he dared show a little concern for her, even if it was for Yue, is now considered her own person, her only family.

In this life, she would achieve the family and dream she always wanted to have.
