7 Wilful

"Good morning brother" Yue greeted cheerfully. Today is the first day that she's going to work as a Fashion Design Assistant of Alcane.

They scouted her a few months prior to her graduation.

At first, she refused their offer and was planning on establishing her own studio, but then she heard that they managed to recruit Null as their Chief Fashion Designer.

Null made his first appearance a decade ago when he was still in high school. He left countless epic records and toppled a lot of famous designers at that time.

Null suddenly disappeared after a couple of years but his name still brought chills and admiration to everyone in the fashion industry.

For some reason, bits and pieces of his work resurfaced this year, and now he actually joined one of the biggest brands in the fashion industry.

This was inconsistent with his usual style. Null was actually a loner and often offend people due to his attitude. Don't know what made him change his mind to cooperate with a company.

"My Little Yue had grown up. You seriously surprise your brother every single time. I already prepared a studio for you but you just decided to run around into being an assistant" Yyan was amused.

"I'm not planning on sticking for a long time. I knew brother is the best!" Yue didn't forget to flatter him.

"Honeyed mouth. You should dress first for work. I'll wait for you for breakfast" Yyan suggested seeing she's still dressed casually.

"No need, I'm wearing this for work" Yue blinked innocently.

Yue wore an extra-large shirt w/ cartoon prints paired w/ black leggings, and canvass shoes. She tied her hair in a high pony with a scrunchie, combed down her bangs, and covered her sparkling eyes with large framed eyeglasses.

Anyone who saw her would think she was still in college, maybe even high school, especially since she slimmed down during her stay in Country F.

Yyan frowned from what he heard. His sister actually looks like a cute harmless bunny in this outfit and people might think she's someone easy to bully.

But he also approved of her wearing such to hide her stunning looks. It's already hard for people not to fall for her charm with this kind of look much more of she's dressed up properly.

It's no good. He should convince her to settle in her own studio as soon as possible to avoid pesky flies.

He can still remember Shuuei's reaction when he saw his Yue. If she's not his sister, he's quite sure Shuuei already made his move.

"Alright, let's eat. I'll bring you to work and fetch you after" Yyan could only dote on his beloved Yue.

"Alright, but don't bring your Bugatti. Let me keep a little low profile" Yyan was fond of cars and had bought every limited edition cars ever produced and even customized some.

"Hmm, whatever my sister wants" Yyan chuckled.

Yue felt she will be spoiled rotten by her brother but she truly enjoyed the feeling. This familial love is something she craved the most in her previous life.

They smoothly arrived at Alcane.

Yue didn't let Yyan go down and watched as the car fade from her sight.

The moment it did, her once sunny disposition turned into a nonchalant look.

Yue didn't intend to waste her energy smiling all day just to please insignificant people.

She was tired of such a life of wearing a mask all day, of caring about what other people would think about her.

She used to wear in all nines all the time in her previous life, now, she just wanted to feel comfortable and be herself.

She won't waste the capital given to her especially now that there's someone willing to cover for her.

She started to walk towards the building, unfortunately, before she can even start her day, someone is bound to ruin it.
