15 Limelight

"Where's Big Sister Yue? You told me she would come. How come she's still not yet here. You lied to me, liar, liar, liar! I should've stayed at home with brother Ker than accompany you in this boring party" Kil was sulking.

Kiro flicked the little devil's nose.

"Hey!"

"Who told you to come. I was not supposed to bring you here if you had not clinged to me the whole day!" Kiro pinched his brother's cheeks.

He could've been enjoying the party, playing with the ladies, but this guy just have to follow him here when he learned that Yue would come.

Now no one would approach him for the little guy was known for being mischievous.

"Stop it, it hurts" Kil was trying to get away from Kiro, then he heard a faint sound of chopper from afar.

None of the guests noticed because they are drowned with music and festivities, but the two of the are almost at the back so it was easier for Kil to hear the sound.

Of course Kiro also noticed it.

Unconsciously, two pairs of eyes was also attracted to the place where the chopper is even without fully seeing it.

Unbeknownst to most of the guests, a chopper landed on the other side of the island.

Two people climbed down from it.

The first one was a tall man with straight posture, capable of receiving respect from the crowd even just by standing.

His well defined jaws, pointed nose, deep dark eyes, simply, a handsome face oozing with manliness will make any woman go crazy.

He was looking after the figure he just carried down, wearing a cloak to avoid her hair being messed up by the wind created by the chopper.

A limousine was waiting for the two of them and once they settled inside, the second person removed her cloak revealing an out of this world face.

Her make up was simple only highlighting her clear eyes that seemed to contain the universe.

She was still flushed with happiness from the thrill of riding the chopper adding some color to her small heart shaped face.

Her hair was still a bit messed up and some strands managed to break free from the pins but it actually gave a wild innocent look.

She was wearing a standing collar dark blue ombre dress that seemed to melt with the night. Once she walks, the soft flowy texture of the dress makes it look like she's floating.

The man looked endearingly at the lady by his side.

When he first saw how she looks for the occasion, he was so amazed for he didn't expect that she could be so much more beautiful with just a little styling that it breaks his heart just thinking how the men will calculate just to get their hands on her once he presented her to the crowd.

Something tugged his heart unknowingly.

"You're one lucky man Claren" Kiro finally approached the couple.

"It's my blessing" Claren gave a perfunctory answer but his smile was genuine. "Lara, this is Kiro Fierro"

"It's a pleasure to finally meet one of the sought after bachelor in the country" Lara greeted smiling and was not overly enthusiastic nor too dry when she faced the noble heir.

It could be seen that she has a great temper, worthy of being a first wife of a noble family.

"No, no, the pleasure on meeting such a great beauty is all mine" Kiro said shamelessly.

One wouldn't think that he has a prestigious background if you just listen to how he talk, fortunately, his face value can cover for his misgivings.

Lara was greatly proud of her charm, and hearing a compliment coming from a noble definitely fed her ego, but of course she didn't show it on her face.

"You might as well get your own beauty and settle down Kiro" Claren started joking.

"No way, don't let my old man hear that or else I'll kill you" Kiro acted scared when he heard the word settle down.

"Ohh, is this cute boy your brother?" Lara suddenly noticed a little guy hanging around Kiro.

"Right, this is my brother Kil. Say your greetings to brother Claren and Sister Lara" Kiro tugged the little guy who's eyes kept wandering around the crowd.

Kiro tugged him a few times and is now starting to feel embarrassed when he didn't receive any response.

"My bad, the little guy is not used with this kind of event but no one will take care of him back ho- hey! Where are you going Kil? Stop for this grandpa!" Kiro suddenly shouted and followed after the kid who suddenly ran away.

Lara frowned for a while. She didn't like things getting out of hand. Hopefully the little guy wouldn't create much mess.

"Say do you think the little Fierro prince will be okay?" Lara still tried to show concern, but she didn't hear anything from Claren.

Then she discovered that his gaze fell the direction the little guy ran.

Claren's mind was already lost in the figure that suddenly appeared. He didn't notice that Lara's grip on his arms stiffened.

It was like time stopped for a moment when those two people appeared in the garden.

In this world, it's normal to see a handsome man with a stunning woman in his arms, but their strong presence seemed to make everything else insignificant, that makes them want to pay homage, that makes the two people special.
