Chapter ５６

[Alex's perspective]

 looking at the letter in my hand I couldn't accept him leaving without saying goodbye.

"Charlie..."

I sighed and called my assistant.

"Hello?"

"It's me."

"What happened?

Have you found him?"

" Not yet."

"Do you have any news?"

"Not at all, he seems to have disappeared out in thin air."

Has  he vanished into thin air?

I am tired of searching. I didn't have the strength to ask one more question.

"OK, I see. Please keep looking. Please let me know if there is any news. Thank you."

" Alex, you have to rest, you're tired."

"I know."

I had a smile floating around my mouth. This little assistant was a little more careful than

others, which made my chest warm.

"Charlie, come and have a rest. I see that you have been tired all day. The bath water is ready."

"Charlie, have some sugar so you don’t become hypoglycemia."

"Charlie ..."

"Alex, has anyone ever said that you are very ... caring?"

"What?"

"... how do you say that word?
