5 Ch 5 : Putting Meat on the Table

"What was that about?" Cetanu said aloud to himself, wondering what had just happened.

A few seconds before Cetanu was explaining to K'lee the different meanings of Ooman hand gestures when she suddenly ran off in a giant panic, with a bright green face, the Yautja's version of a Ooman blush, and a quite voice calling back to him that she would see him later to train together.

Cetanu just shook his head to try and clear his thoughts, and focused back on his next problem, his mother.

He was definitely late getting home now and she wouldn't except him being late without a good reason ... "Oh, that's not a bad idea." He said to himself when a thought suddenly hit him, like a lightbulb going off inside his head, he then went off running deeper into the forest, where the largest animals lived and hunted.

Once Cetanu started cultivating his life force he had gained the ability to sense the life forces of those directly around him, it was a weak sense at first, like a gentle wind on his skin but with Instant Mastery doing it's job he was soon able to sense other life forces as clear as day, the distance he could sense life went up from a couple meters to a couple miles and it just kept getting larger as he practiced and most likely Limitless Potential and Instant Mastery working together to take the sense as far as it could go and further beyond without stopping.

And it was only because of Instant Adaptation that he was able to handle such a fine sense, otherwise he would constantly be overwhelmed by it.

Cetanu was now using that life sense to track down a prey that he could hunt and bring home to his mother.

After 5 minutes of jumping from tree to tree branch, so skilfully that it would put the ninja from the Naruto universe to shame, using his claws on his hands and feet to get a better hold of the tree, he finally sensed a big enough prey that he knew his mother would be happy with, anything less and he was definitely getting punished for being late and probably for hunting weak prey.

It was about 3 meters long and 1.5 meters tall, if his life sense was as accurate as he thought it was then it was quite skinny as well, but that was all Cetanu could tell with his current mastery of his life sense, it was only when he was right upon it did he get a clearer image.

It was very reminiscent of the wolves back on Earth, except for the extra set of legs just behind its front ones.

Cetanu landed in a crouch on a tree branch above the six-legged wolf, not making a sound as he did, his natural born skills as a Yautja taking over along with what his mother taught him.

He looked down at the wolf and saw that it was feasting on the corpse of another animal, a large rat like rodent, half the size of the he wolf, from the bright red blood on the grass and the fresh smell of it in the air Cetanu could tell that the rodent had been recently killed.

Cetanu didn't waste anymore time watching his newest prey, he stood up slowly on the tree branch and dropped down on top of the wolf, crushing it's skull as he landed on top of it.

"Huh... that's it? I honestly thought it would be tougher from it's life force... never mind, let's get this back home." Cetanu said to himself disappointed, he then went onto hanging the wolf up, bleeding and gutting it, using his sharp nails as a knife to cut the wolfs tough hide open.

Once that was done he slung the wolf over his shoulder and started running back the way he came from, the extra weight barely making a difference to his speed as he ran, he could have gone even faster if he used his life force to enhance his muscles but he wanted to get some stamina training in so he stuck to just using the pure physical strength of his body.

"Mom, I'm home!" Cetanu shouted after he let the automatic door close together behind him, a top and bottom section coming together with a mechanical click, signalling that it had locker itself.

The house looked very futuristic on the outside but on the inside the walls were covered in animal furs and white polished skulls of different animals and fantasy like creatures.

A skull that also looked at lot like a Tyrannosaurus was hanging over head, just above the door way, probably so it's the first thing someone see's when they enter the house, acting as a warning to those that would wish harm on the houses inhabitants.

"What the hell took you so long?!" A feminine but rough voice called from deeper into the house, seconds later a gigantic black with red stripes female Yautja with black and blood red dreadlocks came storming towards Cetanu, her fist cocked back ready to attack him, "You're late!"

"I brought food!" Cetanu held up the wolf like animal as if it was an offering to a goddess, he just hoped it would calm his mother long enough that he could get away unharmed, he didn't want to be on the receiving end of one of his mothers punches again, no, the nightmares he already had were enough!

Yes, the Yautja running towards him was his mother, a gigantic 9ft Yautja huntress with black dreadlocks going from the back of her head all the way down to the middle of her back with the ends of them being red, her skin was also pure black with jagged stripes of dark red, her body was very muscular but it also had a feminine charm, from her toned curves to her large breasts, a common trait in female Yautja's.

Like Cetanu she had Ooman lips hidden behind her mandibles, or rather Cetanu lips were like hers as he did get them from her.

Her name was Elnote of the Dark Knight clan, and of course as said before, she was Cetanu's mother.

"Oh! Why didn't you say so, you had me worried there brat! I thought you were out with a girl or something! Arahahahaha~!" Elnote laughed loudly, she then took the wolf off of her son and walked away from him, acting like she wasn't just about to knockout Cetanu.

"I was with a girl actual-" Before he even has a chance to finish his sentence his mother was upon him, bearing down on him menacingly with her much larger size, "What did you say?!" She roared.

All Cetanu could do now was purr in hope of calming her and pray that she didn't break too many bones when she was done with him.
