Destiny, a 5-member idol group, was about to get disbanded by the management on their 4th year after their debut.

"Why us?!"

Kate, one of Destiny's members, shouted to the manager while Latrice, the leader of the group, is calm as she knows the reason. Due to continuous unpopularity of the group, the management wanted to release a new girl group composed of trainees that were already popular in the social media. In order to do that, they have to use the cut-cost strategy since they have not received any return on their investments ever since the debut of Destiny ofand this might lead to the bankruptcy of the agency.

The room is just in complete silence and this made the girls highly emotional, especially Kate. Since she cannot bear it, she walked out the room.

"Kate!"

Latrice called her but she just ignored it.

"Latrice, go to Kate. Let me handle the other girls"

Their manager asked her a favor and she immediately run to look for Kate.

Latrice knows that Kate has been consulting with a psychologist to treat her depression and she do not want anything bad happen to one of the members.

That day, the rain is heavy as if the heavens is also saddened by the news that Latrice and the girls received. She keep on searching for places where Kate usually visits but she failed. That's why when she finally saw her on the other street, she excitedly cross the lane without knowing that there is a ten-wheeler truck coming in her way.

*heavy screeching sound*

*BANG!*

She can feel and hear her heavy breathing. Then, her sight faded followed by her sense of hearing wherein she can hear the commotion. But before her consciousness faded out completely, she remembered that her favorite novel that she has been reading for 4 years will release the final volume today.

"What a bum..."

She thought before she peacefully closed her eyes.

Latrice, the leader of Destiny, got to a severe accident on that thunderous and rainy day.
