1 1 Death is a strange thing

As long as they could remember, they were always together, even in their mother's womb. So it wasn't strange, that even at their deaths door, they were together. You may think that cause of their death was a murder or an accident, but you are wrong. They lived long and fulfilling life and at the age of 80, they were saying good bye without any regrets.

The twins didn't have families of their own, they never married, never had children, they didn't have siblings either, as their mother died after giving birth to them. At least they had a loving father, who did everything in his power to raise his them, a son and a daughter, to be exact.

Not having a mother may have been the reason, as to why they didn't marry. They may have thought that they, too, would die and live their children without a parent.

At least they had each other, that was enough for them.

After their father's death, they moved to a different country, founded a company with their inheritance and lived ,,happily", if you can call this kind of life happy, that is.

And at the death's door, they were content.

How unfortunate they were, they didn't experience their mothers love, which, in turn, would have helped them experience other kinds of love: love of a friend, of a lover, or even a pet. They were just too scared to let anyone in. Every day they watched their father try to hide his suffering, they never wanted to experience the same kind of pain. That's why they pretended to be okay and after some time, they truly believed that they were happy.

Fortunately, somewhere in this enormous universe existed a being, who took interest in their life. He was saddened by the fact, that even at their death's door, twins did't realize the meaning of true happiness. And because of that, he decided to give them a gift, which, of course, would change their lives forever.
