1 Chapter 1: Introduction

Lucinda Lee's life has always been dull ever since her Dear mother died. She was 10 and her sister Lydia was 14. Pretty young to lose a mother, ain't it? Well since then her sister was the only mother figure she ever had. Their father, Sir Thomas was always busy handling the lands they own. He was the second son of Baron Lee. That's why he is addressed as Sir. Lady Lydia Reeves, formerly known as Miss Lydia Lee is now happily married to Lord Philip Reeves.

Now, One and Nine. Almost Zero and twenty. Lucy is busy living her life by feeding her curiosity and getting ready for their first season with her dearest friends. Lady Cecily Colette Colborne and Miss Diana Dyke.

Today, Lucy is on the way to his Father's study to tell him that she will be inviting 2 of her dearest friends.

She starts knocking, "Come in, Dear." her father said.

She opens the door and closed it. She knows her father gets annoyed if she didn't close it.

"Papa, I would like to invite, Cece and Di tomorrow."

"Are you girls hanging out? Aren't the 3 of you supposed to get ready for your first season. It's just right around the corner dear."

"Yes Papa, We ARE Getting ready for the season, by talking about what kind of dresses we shall be wearing, and Suitable Gentlemen so we can add them to our list. And at the same time, Gentlemen to look out for." Lucy said.

"The 3 of you are officially ladies now. Ah, time surely flies, it's like last week the 3 of you were just toddlers. Anyways, dear lookout for Hugh Lee and Will Elkins. There your Cousins."

"I know, Papa. Why would I marry someone I'm related to? And Papa please enlighten me, Who is Will Elkins?" Lucy asked.

"Ah, Will Elkins. Son of my dearest sister Maisie." her father said, reminiscing the good 'ole days.

"Aunt Maisie is in London?" Lucy exclaimed.

"Yes dear, but only for this season. But we'll see if Will will stay."

Isn't Will the Heir to the Earldom of Derby?"

"Yes Dear, why did you asked?"

"Well Papa, There are now 3 catches this season."
