LEONARDO THE DEVIL

KATHERINE POV:

It was a bright sunny day, I was sitting on the bench taking a sun bath in the cold weather while reading the book '' LORD OF THE FLIES''. I looked up at the sky where the birds were flying and the sun shone brightly and thought that no matter whatever happens in this world the sun still shines bright it does not forget to rise daily, its a life lesson for me that no matter whatever happens never lose hope and be courageous be like a sun. It makes me happy whenever I contact nature it gives me inner peace.

After seeing the time which was noon I head towards the coffee shop to get my favorite coffee. I entered the café where people were enjoying their time by gossiping chatting and laughing. I ordered my coffee and sit at the table waiting for my order to arrive to kill time I started scrolling on the phone and received the notification of mail from a college which was my dream college to get admission into upon seeing the msg I just yelp and started to dance from the excitement. Everybody was looking at me like I was a lunatic or I have won a lottery. I excused myself and take my coffee and headed for the exit, I was embarrassed. I was happy because they accepted my admission request into the college my only dream is to become a doctor and serve the humanity

FLASHBACK

Mom was not at home she was gone to the super market to buy some grocery, nobody was at home it was only me and dad , I was playing in my room , there were some guest that came to our house and were talking to my dad I still remember that day when some people came to our house at first they were talking politely but with time one man started to get mad and start shouting at my dad pointing the gun towards him my dad was still calm not saying anything to them all they were talking about was some man and money after my dad disapproval they shoot him , upon hearing the gunshot I got terrified and hid under the bed for about 5mins I came out to see that they left our house in a hurry because they know that the police will arrive only seeing my dad being shot dead I couldn't do anything to save him I didn't see their monster faces all the people and all our relative came our house at my dad funeral to console my mom and me but what happen was tragic at least my dad did not deserve to die like this. I loved him a lot. He was the best dad ever up till now nobody has taken his place and nobody loved me like him. I still miss his presence if he was alive and saw my dreams coming true he would be very happy.

PRESENT TIME

I feel my face wet with tears I just simply wipe them knowing they are of no use and just picked up my coffee and started walking and start thinking about what I have to buy, need to do the shopping for college and groceries suddenly my phone ranged up and I saw an unknown number calling at first I was hesitant but then I picked up '' hello'' the other line say '' hey Katherine this is Stacy I just changed my number save this new one '' and she hanged up I was about to save she called again '' Katherine be ready I will pick you up by 3 for shopping'' and hanged up uhhhh this girl. I was about to reach my apartment grab my keys and opened the door, entered my room, and start placing things in their respective places and notice something strange somebody was there my things were a bit displaced. I just ignore that feeling because I was having the keys to this apartment only. I don't need to think extra and start preparing a meal for supper it takes half an hour for the meal to get ready then get to the washroom and wash myself the clock hit 2.30 which means Stacy will be here within 30 mins. I washed the dishes and was waiting for her after 10 mins the doorbell rang and I hear her voice '' bitch open up the door I am waiting very patiently ''. I hurriedly open the door and said it has been almost 20 sec that you have waited for drama queen this is the title I have given her because she is a drama queen but the fact that she is beautiful can't be ignored

She said ''okay come on let's go, it is getting late '' I just grab my purse phone, and keys and headed outside. At the mall, the all-time she did was that she was busy flirting with handsome boys and salesman while I did not even care and instead I did the shopping for her also. I bought a pair of shoes, books, a uniform some stationary and other essential items. After like 3 hours due to Stacy flirting and nonstop talk talking about her ex throughout the shopping we head back to our apartment luckily. She and I get admission to the same college she is my bestie since childhood she was my neighbor's classmate's school buddy and now we will go to the same college. Her dad even takes care of me but I know how to support myself, therefore, I don't depend on others too much I do a part-time job in a restaurant that gives me good pay that is enough for my needs I don't need anymore anyway

I was so excited about my college tomorrow where I will meet new friends and learn new things and the most important thing was it is my favorite college but little did I know that the first day will be this bad that I will be bullied by my seniors and that my fight back will lead to chaotic consequences that I have to face
