CHAPTER 10

BOBBY

"Hello, Aries, did you follow them?

"Yes, I followed them until they found a place to stay, but now I don't know how to go home."

"Is Leon safe, no one followed them, right?"

"There are two men following them but I silence them both."

"Good, use your GPS to come home. Let's talk about this to Brenan and Ashen if they don't kill each other while they were left behind."

"I'm sure they are now both grasping their last because they are choking each other. Those two always like dogs and cats. I'm sure the next time we witness them kissing each other.

"I'm sure of that." I chuckled, shaking my head. We all know that Brenan has had a thing for Ashen since we were Young, but she didn't notice that girl is like a boy. We couldn't blame her because she grew up with all boys with her.

"Okay, but I'll take maybe two to three hours to arrive home. You know I hate this GPS shit. I didn't know where I was right now. And I don't know how far I am from home.

"You just hate GPS because you don't know how to follow directions." I chuckled as I left Leon's apartment.

"That's why I hate it. Okay see you later, Leon is in fucking big trouble. We don't know who those men are."

"It's all our fault. We should return his things when we got them from the thief. His life shouldn't have been tangled with that woman. If Brenan found out what we did we we are dead."

"Blame it on Ashen."

I sigh. "Okay, take your time. Make sure you won't get lost on your way." I teased.

"Fuck off!" He snarled, hanging up. I sigh again. "We are all dead if Boss Scott knows what we did to Leon. It's all Ashen's fault. Now Leon is on the run and always in danger. If something happens to him, Lady Boss will skin us alive.

Early in the morning, we followed Leon when he went to work. We always did like we were doing in Korea, and there were two men following him.

We silently knocked those two unconscious when Leon got to his working place but when he left his work there was another group of men following him. Who are these men? Why are they following Aliyah? And those men inside their apartment, I'm sure they tried to harm Aliyah but luckily Leon came and saved her.

"I'll ask Brenan to investigate those men later." I'll leave Leon's apartment and head home. It was only a fifteen-minute drive. We chose this hotel because it was close to Leon's apartment.

I parked the car and went to the waiting elevator. I pressed the 10th floor where our suite is. It was the biggest suite in this hotel with three rooms. Aries and I share one room and Brenan and Ashen took the two other rooms.

I tap my card key on the scanner and push the door open. Why is it so quiet? Every day, every time I return home, Brenan and Ashen are always bantering in the living room. Why was it now empty and quiet as if no one was around?

"I'm home." I hollered. But I was startled when a door was banged on the wall and Brenan emerged from his room and he looked so angry.

"Shit!" I cursed. I staggered backward when a punch landed on my face. "Brenan, what the hell man?" I looked up when Ashen's room opened and she stepped out and stood not far away from us. Her face was stained with tears and her eyes looked like she'd been crying.

"What the hell man? You're asking me?" Brenan screamed and threw something in my face. And my face paled when I saw that it was Leon's things.

"Brenan it's all my fault. Bobby and Aries have nothing to do with it." Ashes sobbed.

"You know if you are just a man I already punched you. What got into your thick skull to do this to Leon? We are not in Korea, Ashen. Are you enjoying watching my cousin suffering? And you Bobby, you, and Aries are supporting here. Leon is here to experience a normal life, but how can he do that after what you both did? Now, he cannot go to school, has no place to stay, and needs to work like a slave to others."

"I'm so sorry," Ashen murmured. "I'll return his things to him."

"Isn't it too late? And you want him to find out that we are following him all this time? If you only scared that thief and ask him to return Leon's things from the very beginning, he should be living comfortably and we don't have a hard time watching him but now what, Ashen?"

He slumped on the couch and opened his laptop and turned the screen facing us. "You see this man? He is Aliyah's ex-boyfriend. Do you know who he is? He is a son of a mayor and he is sending men after her, and this man, Logan, is a gangster boss. He has a street fighter business and he is also after Aliyah. Do you know what it means, Ashen? Because of what you did to Leon you pushed him into danger. You are still a brat who doesn't think about the consequences of your actions. We are not in Korea, Ashen, where everyone knows Uncle Scott. We are in the other country, not just in our neighborhood.

"I'm so sorry."

"You think it can help?"

"Leon is in a bad situation right now. Men broke into their apartment earlier and they ran away." I murmured. "But Aries followed them and he is heading back here now."

"Leon is safe right?" Ashen cried.

"Yes, as of now but, I don't know for how long they can hide with those men."

"I will meet Leon tomorrow. And I ask him to stay with us." Brenan snorted.

"Okay, good luck," Brenan said and stood up and went to his room.

"Brenan, wait. We need to talk about Leon's situation."

"Let Ashen handle it. And besides, it was all your doings. So you guys solve it. I'm just a piece of excess baggage here anyway." He said and slammed the door close. Ashen slumped on the couch and buried her face between her legs crying.

"It's all my fault."

"What are you going to do now?"

"I'll meet Leon tomorrow." I just sigh and sit beside her waiting for Aries to arrive.

The following morning, Aries, Ashen, and I went to the new place where Aliyah and Leon were staying. We stopped the car a few meters from the house. Ashen wanted to return Leon's things to Aliyah. Last minute she changed her mind about meeting Leon because she was scared of what he would do to her.

So here we are waiting for Aliyah to come out. We've been waiting for her for one hour now but it seems like Aliyah won't come out

Ashen sighed and wiped the tears that rolled down her face. "This place is, the servant's quarter is better than this." She murmured. Aries and I just exchange glances but don't comment about it.

"She's coming," Aries said. We all straightened up watching as Aliyah stepped out of the gate of the house.

"It seems like she's going somewhere. You two stay here. I'll follow her and give Leon's things when I have a chance."

"Okay, we will call you if Leon comes out of the house as well," I told her, as I watched Aliyah walk past the car. She stop at the bus stop which was a few meters away from us while talking on her phone with her eyes roaming around her.

"Go, the bus might come," I told Ashen and she quickly stepped out of the car. We watched as she walked to Aliyah and stood beside her. Only the two of them were at the bus stop and I chuckled watching how nervous she was while standing beside Aliyah.

"Ashen looks like a scared kid." Aries chuckled.

"What the shit!! I screamed. "Ashen!!! I screamed jumping off the car and running after them but it happened so fast. A van stopped beside them and Aliyah was quickly pulled inside. Ashen grabbed her wrist but the men also pulled her inside the van despite her struggled and it closed and drove off.

"Get it," Aries screamed. I climbed in the car and we quickly followed the van at first it was not hard to follow because there are only a few cars but as we get into the busy street it was getting harder and it kept going every street that we passed. And it was very hard because we don't know the way and after an hour of following the van we lost it.

Aries kept driving for another thirty minutes but we didn't see the van anymore.

"What now?" Aries asked.

"Let's go to Leon."
