8 Flame Cyclone
"Must. Hang. On. Tight," Leon gritted his teeth holding onto a red pole as Amber swung it around trying to swap Leon off it. "Leon, stop being annoying, I'm trying to train my strength." The team had been training ever since the first level test they did. Even the teachers and other students soon got inspired to try as well. Soon the academy was fired up with tournaments and brawls from all types of students comparing the scores. But the team that almost always came on top was, of course, Team Spirit who used their newly made weapons for all types of fights.
When I say almost, the team had lost a match unfortunately but that was because of an accident.
About a week ago Leon and the team had been chatting about levels when a ferocious looking team stood before them and challenged them for a brawl. The team undoubtedly accepted and soon they got their weapons ready they charged into the heat of a well-balanced battle. "Wow this team sure is strong!" Leon gulped as he dodged another spear thrown by an enemy brawler. "I've never encountered an opponent this strong and steady with the spear." Leon frowned and used his invisibility ability. The opponent student suddenly saw Leon disappear into thin air and shivered in fright turning around slowly for any sudden surprises.
While still invisible, Leon quickly loaded his ninja star with a liquid called Shariball. Shariball was a mineral found by a famous explorer called Leo Li. It was the hardest liquid, and it was 99% solid but still counted as a liquid. Leon held the heavy shuriken in his hand and stepped to the side dodging another shot of the dangerous spear. He threw the hard shuriken at the student thunking him in the head. Immediately, he disintegrated into specs of light. He then respawned on a green mat outside the special arena. The students were lucky to have such amazing tech for their brawls to not get hurt of endangered.
All of a sudden a shout of surprise came from Amber as she dodged a boomerang going towards her only to be in line with the invisible Leon. A scream of pain came out of Leon's mouth as he disappeared into shimmers of light. Amber, angry at herself and the opponent bringing her spear as far as it could go she threw it towards the terrified student. The flaming spear contacted the student's chest and with a sigh the student collapsed but didn't disappear. This triggered Amber further, she grabbed Aurora away from another student and told her to use her wind to strengthen her flames for an inferno cyclone. Soon the fiery spear spun and spun creating a whirlpool of flames, Amber let loose and set it towards the two remaining students. Frightened by the sudden change of events, the two enemies both gave up the battle to avoid the pain.
Leon ran up to his team hugging them in triumph. "Maybe we are the best team, or maybe not!"
