12 Real Body Vs Game Body

"Whew!" Enzo blew out a breath of air and bent down to put his hands on his knees.

Pepper and Enzo had to run through the forest to make it back to the gates before their time ran out.

They even almost got lost at one point and had to pull out their maps.

The irony of a scout and hunter class getting lost in the forest was ignored by them because they were too tired to care.

"I have nothing else to do today, do you want to meet up again after our headsets are done recharging?" Pepper asked.

"Sure, it was fun hunting, so I would love to do it again."

"Great!"

Pepper was practically beaming with joy.

Enzo couldn't help but think she looked very cute at the moment.

Pepper interrupted his thoughts by saying, "I'll see you in four hours then.", she then opened her menu and logged out of the game.

Enzo watched as her body exploded into millions of white pixels that faded away slowly.

He then proceeded to do the same thing.

He first felt his eyes drooping like he was falling asleep rapidly, then they abruptly opened again.

[Battery: 1%]

A holographic screen displaying the remaining battery left for the headset was on the back of the facemask area.

Enzo pressed the button on the side of the headgear, that was directly where his right side ear is located, and the face mask lifted up.

"Sssss… Ahhhhhh."

Enzo took a deep breath and let it out.

"The air here is much worse." He mumbled with a frown on his face.

The air in the world of Legends Reborn Online was much more purified and clear than the air on Earth.

This was because there was no pollution from cars or industrial things in Legends Reborn Online.

This wasn't because there weren't any technological advancements, but rather because of the existence of magic and mana.

Magicians are used to purify harmful gasses that may leak from industrial machinery, and the mana in the air helps to further purify anything that the magicians might miss.

There was nothing Enzo could do about this but sigh in his heart and move on.

Enzo slid the DIVR headgear off of his head and got up from his bed to plug it in so that it would charge.

That was the plan at least.

"Whoah!"

Enzo yelled as he fell down.

He was able to stand up just fine, but the second he tried to move a step he fell down.

Bam!

"Ugh!"

Luckily he wasn't holding the headgear at the moment, as that could have been tragic.

Enzo put his hands under him and lifted himself off the ground to stand up again.

'Let's take it slow this time.'

He dramatically put one foot in front of the other and started to walk in a circle around his room.

After a minute of doing this, Enzo was able to control his body just fine again.

He instantly knew that this was a result of having such a fast character in the game, but not being so fast in real life.

His character in the game was now slightly faster than the fastest runners in the world, yet his human body was slightly slower than the average person on Earth.

"This might cause a problem later on…" He mumbled to himself.

If this problem continued, it would just get worse and worse because his player would get faster and faster while his real body would stay the same.

Bam!

Enzo's door slammed open.

"Oh my gosh! The game is so much fun!"

Ivan screamed.

His blond hair was tousled around like he just woke up from having the worst nightmares of his life.

Enzo chuckled at his over energetic friend's antics.

"Yeah, it is pretty fun."

"Let's eat something and talk about what we did." Ivan suggested with a smile still on his face.

He not only wanted to share what he accomplished in the first 16 hours, but also wanted to hear all about what Enzo did.

The two 19 year olds then went to the kitchen to heat up some frozen pizza.

While they waited for the pizza to cook and as they were eating, they took turns recapping what they did during their first stint of the game.

By the end of their conversation Ivan was feeling slightly jealous of Enzo, but still was very happy with both of their progress.

Ivan had a much harder time accomplishing much during the game because of the job class he chose.

Ivan decided to be a thief in Legends Reborn Online.

The problem with that, is that as a thief it would be very hard to gain a stranger's trust, so he had to hunt by himself, whereas Enzo found a very capable partner to level up with.

However, this didn't stop Ivan in the slightest.

Ivan was still able to get to level 2, and was only less than 10 experience points from reaching level 3, so he is currently only a level behind Enzo.

Ivan ended up doing the same thing as Enzo in the start of the game, and went to the training grounds to learn how to fight.

He was even able to find an NPC there that could teach him, and the NPC ended up giving him a quest that had a few hidden rewards just like Enzo's quest with Will Smith the blacksmith.

Ivan also received the same hint from Rhea about the Inheritances that Enzo did.

They planned on finding a way to meet the mayor of their respective villages after their quests are completed.

After they were done talking, an hour had passed, so Enzo and Ivan went to take a short 3 hour nap before their DIVR headgear finished charging.

Enzo set his alarm to 30 minutes before so he would have time to browse the forums and wake up the heavy sleeper he called a roommate.
