2 In the GameGo Line

"Ivan, wake up!"

"It's time to go!"

Enzo shook Ivan's shoulders violently.

Ivan has always been a very deep sleeper. Just to wake up in the morning on time he has to have three very loud alarms set to go off at the same time. Even then, it doesn't always wake him up.

"Mmmm. I'm up, I'm up." Ivan mumbled.

"No you aren't. Open your eyes before I pour a bucket of water on you."

That did the trick, Ivan's eyes opened wide in an instant.

That wouldn't have been the first time Enzo poured water on him. It was not a fun way to wake up.

"That's what I thought. It's 7:30 am so hurry up and get ready so we can go to the store." Enzo said.

He then left Ivan's room that was identical to his, but across the hall.

Enzo already took a shower and dressed himself, so he went to the bathroom to just brush his teeth.

'Sigh.'

Looking into the mirror caused him to sigh. His hair was a mess.

His hair looked horrible at a short length, and weird when it was a medium length, so he was currently trying to grow out his straight black hair. He figured it would look better the longer it is.

It currently went past his ears, but stopped there.

Enzo's black hair was in stark contrast to his pale skin and bright blue eyes.

Luckily his eyes and face compensated for his lack of a good hairstyle.

He wasn't the most handsome man in the world, but most women would rate him a strong seven or eight out of ten. The problem was that when he stood beside Ivan, those very same women would bring him down by a rating or two. Ivan was just too handsome. He had short blond hair, tan skin, deep green eyes, and was very muscular. Not to mention the height difference between the two.

Enzo was a tall person standing at 6'1 (185 cm), but beside Ivan who was 6'7 (200 cm) he looked short.

"Ptui!"

Enzo spit out the toothpaste and rinsed his mouth before going to the living room.

He wore a simple pair of black sweatpants and a black hoodie with white low top shoes. There wasn't a need to dress extravagantly just to camp out in front of a store, so Enzo focused on comfort.

Twenty or so minutes later, "I'm ready." Ivan told Enzo.

"Alright, let's go."

Enzo grabbed his large duffle bag that contained snacks, water, blankets, and a few collapsable chairs.

Ivan had a similar bag on his shoulder.

They left the apartment and made their way down the four stories worth of steps because the elevator was out of order.

It only took a few minutes to get to the store because there was a GameGo store on campus.

"Dammit…" Ivan mumbled.

There were a lot of people already lined up in front of the store to camp out.

"We'll be fine, there's only 30 or so people in front of us." Enzo said optimistically.

They made their way to the back of the line and pulled out their chairs to sit down.

Enzo pulled out a thick blue blanket and wrapped it around his body to combat the cold of the summer morning.

He pulled out his phone and first looked at the time.

'8:02 am. 16 hours to go until we can get our headgear.'

He then went to the website Extant Company made for the game Legends Reborn Online. There was a specific section for news and another section that led to a website for forums.

Enzo first went to check the news to see if anything else was announced.

Surprisingly, there was another article by Julia Green, the CEO of Extant Company.

Enzo took some time to read the article.

The article gave basic information about Legends Reborn, like the classes and subclasses that would be available, how the rank system works, and the specific inheritances you could find.

There were 22 different main classes that a player could choose during their character creation. This class could never be changed so it was important to make a good decision. The available classes ranged from Rogues who were an assassin like class, to Swarm Keepers who were a ranger type class with the ability to form a swarm of monster companions.

Only a few classes caught Enzo's interest. He was debating between the Monster Slayer class, Rogue, and Berserker class.

He didn't really pay much attention to the subclasses because he wouldn't be able to choose one until level 10.

Next he learned about the ranking system. Players, NPC's, and monsters would be split into ranks in the game. Rank 1 is from level 0 to level 49. Once you reach level 50 you have to take a rank up test or you will be forever stuck at level 50. Rank 2 is from level 50 to level 99. Rank 3 is from level 100 to level 199. Rank 4 is from level 200 to level 399 and so on.

The difference between ranks is supposed to be a huge gap. Players would only receive 2 stat points per level, but after taking a rank up test you could receive at minimum 20 stat points and at most 100 stat points.

The last thing the article spoke about was the inheritances players could find. An inheritance was the official name of the bloodlines that were mentioned in the trailer. The available inheritances could turn a player into a vampire, werewolf, angel, fallen, dwarf, dragon halfling, or a beastkin. There were different sub inheritances under each species. For example, there were 5 different types of a vampire bloodline you could find. Once all 5 were found and obtained the only way to become a vampire was for them to turn you into one. Also, each subtype of vampire had different abilities. All vampires would be able to use the darkness element, but only Dracul vampires would be able to use the fire element, and only Nosferati vampires had a beast transformation.
