Back to Stonewall

Enzo then remembered the mission he sent Bella and Juliet on before the waves started.

"Eevie and Pepper, did you guys find any treasures in the castle?" he asked.

Then he remembered something else important before they could even answer the first question.

"Shit! Cereal, have you been streaming this whole time?!"

Everyone turned wide eyed towards Kenny.

They had completely forgotten he was streaming, and may have revealed some things that they shouldn't have.

"No, I turned it off once the announcements stopped. I figured whatever came out of the loot boxes should be kept a secret for now." He assured the rest of the team.

Sigh!

They let out a collective sigh of relief. Some of them, including Enzo, were talking about the things they received from the loot boxes, and it would have taken away one of their advantages if people knew the contents.

For example, if another player got into a fight with Enzo knowing about his +20 stat boost and what he allocated it to, they could potentially alter their fighting style around it. This wasn't a big concern because it would take a skilled player to do something like that, but it would still be a possibility of it happening if Kenny hadn't turned off his stream.

"How did it go by the way?" Hephaestus asked him.

"It went amaaaaaazing!" He said excitedly.

"I had 500 total viewers at one point and I think my average viewers for the whole stream was around 200."

"Nice!" Enzo said.

"Yeah, that's really good. Especially for just your first stream." Ivan said and patted Kenny on the back.

Enzo then turned back to the girls.

"Back to the treasure hunt, did you girls find anything?"

Bella looked over to Juliet, indicating she should do the speaking.

"Actually, we found a secret vault in the basement. There was tons of gold and ores in it. Here."

She then started dumping piles of gold onto the ground and Bella dumped many ores.

Hephaestus' eyes went wide and he had an extremely excited glint within them.

"Let's goooo!" He screamed before running over to the pile of ores and inspecting them.

Then he realized something.

"Does anyone mind if I take all of these?" He asked.

He looked around at the group with a questioning gaze.

"I don't mind." Ivan said.

"Neither do I." Enzo responded.

The rest of the group voiced their indifference as well.

Hephaestus smiled.

"Thanks guys." He said.

'He IS the only blacksmith here, so I don't think anyone would have a use for it other than to sell anyway.' Enzo thought to himself.

He turned his attention back to Juliet who was still taking stacks of gold out of her inventory.

"Just how much was in there?" Enzo asked.

"Around 5,000 gold coins, if I am remembering correctly." Juliet answered.

"Do you guys want to split it between us all?" Enzo asked.

Everyone either nodded their heads or expressed their agreement out loud. There was no way they were just going to turn down free money like that.

Enzo did some quick mental math, and in just a split second was able to figure out how much each member would be able to take if there were 5,000 gold coins. It's not as if the math was necessarily hard to do, but Enzo was able to do it in a much faster time than most people would.

Even he was a little surprised at how fast he did it, as that wasn't normal in the real world. He could definitely do mental math faster than most people in the real world, but not this fast.

'Must be because of the intellect stat.' He thought.

"Alright, everyone gets 625 gold coins per person." He said.

Everyone except for Enzo, Bella, and Juliet rushed towards the pile of gold coins and started counting them while throwing them in their inventories. The only reason Bella and Juliet did not do the same is because they were still taking things out of their inventories. Even Hephaestus gave up inspecting the ores on the ground for the time being to go collect his share of the money.

Enzo then remembered to go loot the big crab monster as well.

[+1 Mutated Crab Shell]

He gave Hephaestus the crab shell in hopes that he could turn it into something good, then took one of the gold coins for himself, gave Ivan and Jane one gold coin as well, then gave the rest of the group two gold coins from the ones that were left.

He gave Jane, Ivan, and himself only one gold coin because he had riches in the game, Ivan had them outside of the game, and Jane was the person who received the Reaper Fruit. He most likely would have given her only one coin either way because of her status as the healer.

While healer was definitely a hard role to play, it was nowhere near as hard as what the rest of the group had to do, at least not this early in the game when most monsters couldn't really damage skilled players such as themselves.

If Enzo had the option, he would give Jane two gold coins as well, but there just wasn't an even amount of coins for the amount of players in their group.

Once he saw everyone start to slow their collection of the gold coins, he then got in on it himself.

It took around 10 minutes total for Juliet and Bella to get all of the stuff out of their inventory and the rest of the group to collect their share of it.

Enzo checked his coin balance once he collected all of his coins.

'Nice, hopefully I have plenty to get some good stuff at the Summer Festival in Stonewall.'

The group then sat down to relax and chat until it was time to leave the dungeon.

The usual white light assaulted their eyes when it was time, and Enzo was taken back to the outskirts of Stonewall.

Only a few more chapters before it is time for Enzo to take down the Lost Dragon's Lair Dungeon, and after that last mini arc will be the start of Volume 2. Are you guys excited?
