Back In LRO

~

Once the 48 hour game downtime was over, Enzo immediately rushed back to the game after swallowing a nutrient pill and zipping up his new suit.

The gold headgear suit was an odd experience to say the least.

When Enzo zipped it up it was extremely loose, but once he pressed the button on the side of the helmet to turn on the headgear it tightened to fit his body.

It was slightly uncomfortable, but it didn't matter much as he entered the game just a minute later.

The headgear had to download the game again and do other stuff like the silver headgear on the first bootup, but it was much faster and Enzo didn't have to login or anything. The headgear scanned his body structure and automatically logged him in based on that.

Enzo breathed in the fresh air of the game world before letting it out, "Sssssss. Haahhhh!"

He looked around and the rest of the group was forming from white particles close by.

Ding!

"You're smarter than I thought you were originally Vincent, I apologize for doubting your intelligence." Enzo said apologetically.

Vincent smiled and put his hands on his hips arrogantly.

"Haha! I told you guys!"

Just as he predicted, there was a hunger and thirst setting added to the game.

"Let's get in line." Enzo told the group.

They had to walk for 10 minutes just to reach the end of the line even though it was much shorter than it was a few days ago.

When they finally reached the guards around an hour later they were frustrated from boredom.

One of the guards held his hand up.

"Halt. Do you have an adventurer's ID?" He asked.

"We don't even know what that is, sir." Enzo responded politely.

"Then are you looking to live in the city or are you just visiting?"

"We are just visiting for now."

"Then that will be 1 silver coin each. If you later change your mind and would like to buy property in the city then go to the guild hall."

Enzo handed the guard a silver, and the rest of the group followed.

He handed them a silver token in return.

"Use this to leave and exit the city."

"Thank you, sir. Could you tell us where the guild hall is?"

"Sure, it's right in the middle of the city. It's a large white building, you can't miss it."

"Okay, thanks again."

Enzo looked at the ID of both guards and noticed they were both level 100.

'I will not be disrespecting them anytime soon lol.'

They could slap him to death if they so wished, but surprisingly the guard who spoke to them was very respectful and kind.

The group passed through the large gates and finally entered Stonewall City.

The city was very similar to the starter village, but on a much larger scale.

Just from what Enzo could see from the gate entrance, it looked like 10 villages the size of the starter village could easily fit within the city walls. That was saying something, because the starter village was already large enough to be considered a very small city.

Juliet pointed to a building in the middle of the city and said, "I think that's the guild hall the guard was talking about.

The building in question was just as the guard described it. There was no way for anyone to miss it unless they were blind.

The guild hall was an eight story building made of completely white marble. The marble was polished and in pristine condition, reflecting the sun onto the eyes of the group even from how far away they were.

The building was only 8 stories tall, but it towered over every single other building in the area, with the second tallest building being only three stories tall.

Enzo led the group through the sea of NPCs flooding the streets towards the guild hall.

It took a while to reach the building, so they quickly went inside once they reached it.

The first room they were met with was a small entry room with another door on the opposite wall.

A receptionist was standing behind a podium near the door of the building once they walked in. She wore a white dress shirt and a black pencil skirt with stockings underneath and matching black high heels. "Welcome to the Stonewall Guild Hall, how may I help you?" She asked.

"Hello, we are looking for information on the locations of some dungeons, and we would like to register as adventurers." Enzo answered for the group.

He assumed registering as adventurers would give them free access in and out of the city because of what the guard asked them when they first entered.

"Okay, I will take you all to get registered first. Follow me."

She led them through the door on the opposite wall. Behind that door was another room that was much larger than the first.

There were NPCs sitting at tables all around the room chatting and eating food. There was a bar on the right side with a few bartenders serving drinks. Lastly, at the wall straight ahead of Enzo was another long counter with many other receptionists sitting behind it.

Their guide led them to one of the other receptionists that wasn't currently talking to a client.
