1 A New School

Hi, my name is Harith. I recently got a scholarship into one of the best magic schools. I'm really excited but Im kind of nervous, just a tiny bit. Gah! I shouldnt block the entrance. I should make my way to the classroom.

As I make my way to class 1-A I hear someone calling my name "Harith! Is that you?" I turn around to see a familiar face. "Alucard?!" It's Alucard! My old friend. I used to call him big brother. "Woah! Its been forever!" He pulled me into a hug so I hugged back. I felt nostalgic.

"Hi Alucard! Its nice to see you again." I reply with a smile. "Its nice to see you too! Oh yeah, this is my girlfriend, Miya." Miya wore her hair in a high ponytail, she was holding a notebook, she looks so sophisticated. Like an honor student. "So you're Harith. Its nice to meet you! Alu has told me so much about you!" She smiled at me and we shook hands. She has a strong grip.

"Its nice to meet you too Miya! If only Alu here told me he had a girlfriend.." I shot him a glare. "How can you not tell me you had a girlfriend? Shes really nice too!" I crossed my arms and looked up at him. How did he get so tall in the past 2 years?

"Haha.. sorry.. Miya.. sorry Harith.." Alucard said scratching his head while Miya giggled at her boyfriend. "It got pretty hectic because of the parents.." Alucard said with a deep sigh. "Do you mind if I ask what happened?" I asked carefully. Miya looked at me and said "The new scholarship student was permitted to skip a year due to his intelligence. The wealthy parents are now getting mad because they cant pay for their children to skip a year." She looked tired.

I panicked and I blurted out "S-sorry for causing you guys trouble.." Alucard and Miya looked surprised. Alucard asked me "How old are you now..?" "Im thirteen this year.. turning fourteen on November 6.." Great! The first day and people already hate me. Yay!

"Thats amazing!" Miya said while clasping my two hands. I blush slightly "H-huh?" "Alucard said you were smart but I didnt know you were THAT smart! Well.. Welcome to MLBB Academy!" Miya looked so bright. The tiredness in her eyes disappeared. "Yeah, Harith! Congrats!" Alucard put his hand on my shoulder and gave me that idiot smile of his.

Maybe this school wont be as hard as I thought. Maybe Ill gain friends now. After all, its a new school. New possibilities. Now I can look forward to things this year.

"Oh right! Werent we supposed to show the scholar- I mean Harith the school, right? Sorry bout that Harith.." Miya said while looking through her baby blue notebook. "Oh yeah! Youre right!" Alucard said. "Well, lets go, Harith?" Miya asked. "Sure! Lead the way!"

Alucard and Miya showed me the entire school. They even taught me shortcuts. They showed me the battlefeilds, the labs, the workshop, the library, and loads of rooms. I was surprised. The school looked big on the outside yet on the inside it looked.. bigger. The library and battlefeild has me excited.

On my tour of the school, I caught up with Alu and realized me and Miya had almost the same interests. They make a great couple. Maybe Ill find my partner.. Nah dont be silly Harith. Miya and Alucard look so good together.. damn.. lucky Alucard finding a nice girl.

That was one hour well spent. We made it to my classroom ten minutes just before the bell rang. Before they left, they gave me a map of the school in case I get lost.

I found a lot of empty seats so I just took the window seat. A pink haired girl was sitting in front of me too. She turned around and said "Hi my name is Nana its nice to-" Huh? Why did she stop? Why is she staring at me? "ARE YOU HARITH? THE FAMOUS LEONIN?" Nana looked closer at me as if she were staring at an exam paper.

"Uh.. y-yeah.. Hi, its nice to meet you Nana!" I smiled at her. "Its so good to know theres another leonin in my class. So.. you skipped a grade, right?" She asked me with her curious eyes. "Yeah.." "Woah! Thats amazing!" She looked in my eyes.. wow.. shes kinda cute.

She asked what the last school I went to was, if she was asking too much then she asked "Hey.. um.. Is the attention too much to handle..?" I gasped "How did you know that?" "I once scored highest in the entire school for the support exam. So I got a lot of unwanted attention. So when I heard about a person skipping a grade AND the first to get a scholarship in 3 years, I just guessed it would be hard as well."

I smiled "Wanna be teammates for a match later?" I asked her.. oh no.. what will she say? I hope she accepts it. "OF COURSE!" She had this shimmer in her eye and her tail started wagging. How cute.. I blushed. A boy with orange hair set his purple coat down and said "Ugh Nana.. you're so loud.. its just eight a.m.-" he stopped and looked at me for a second. "HARITH!!" He launched at me using one of his power ups and hugged me.
