The New Journey (Part-2)

Kan is running through the forest, swiftly jumping from tree branch to tree branch. He's running so fast, everything around him seems slow.

Kan then jumps into the air, flying high above the trees. The gentle and harsh winds hit his face. Allowing Kan to become one with the wind for a few seconds. Turning him into the air itself.

As he approaches the ground, he quickly fades out before landing on the top tree branch again.

'This is no way near Minato's speed even though it requires no Kunai. I need to shorten the in-between timing somehow'

Kan then decides to walk back to the starting point as a form of resting while observing the area

'Hoh?', Kan chuckled as he saw an eagle in the sky, flying around in large circles.

"You know. You truly should work on your stealth", said Kan as he looked ahead with a chuckle

"Fire Style: Great Fireball Jutsu" roared a voice as a Giant fireball rolled its way towards Kan.

Kan raised his hand calmly, "Taiki no Henka"

Using his nearly unmatched mastery of winds in every aspect. He changed the actual chemical components of the air around the Fireball.

Kan dispersed the attack with no effort. Being clearly outdone in terms of techniques, the figure walks out just in time to feel the intense wind sphere coming at her. Suddenly the wind sphere completely engulfed her before crashing onto her.

She jumped away and the wind blast crashed onto the ground, raising the dirt cloud.

The dusk quickly clears as Kan has a Kunai to his neck, "You are fast"

"So you must be the person I'm looking for..." said the unknown hunter.

"I don't know what you are talking about..." said Kan as he disappeared, and reappears instantly on a nearby tree, turning around and facing her seconds later. It was so fast that she couldn't even react...

'How is that possible?.... Isn't that the Flash's technique? Flying thunder god?' thought the unknown hunter as she put her hand down.

"Are you Kan Korimachi?" asked the unknown hunter.

"I am whatever you want me to be. Who are you though? No, who sent you?", asked Kan.

"You think I'll just tell you about me? You're highly mistaken, but even if I did, it doesn't matter because I'll be leaving shortly and you'll be coming with me, or..." said the unknown hunter before she was interrupted. "Or nothing. You'll tell me what I ask. And then, I will let you live... there is no option otherwise" replied Kan.

"I didn't come here to hear your nonsense, I came here to retrieve you and report back to base" replied the Unknown Hunter as she jumped back several feet from Kan.

"Whatever suits you is fine, and I respect your wishes, but me being captured by you is out of the question... Why do you need me anyway?" asked Kan while shrugging

The Unknown Hunter began staring at Kan, "Sorry, but I can see through and negate Genjutsu, so you Illusory Techniques are useless against me" said Kan

The Unknown hunter's expression changed, "And here I thought it would be an easy mission…" She sighed as she began reaching to her back to take off the large shuriken.

"But, I am glad it isn't", Her expression hardened as she throws the shuriken watching as it spun and circled the area before reaching to the side of Kan in an attempt to injure him.

Kan merely stepped sideways to avoid the already close shuriken. He dodged it effortlessly. Kan looked at the weapon's trajectory, clearly knowing it was on its way back. The Shuriken flew into the air and come right back around, just like a boomerang.

She caught it and throws it back up..!!

"Wind blade of the eternal void"

Kan creates a white invisible sword. The ultimate sword that could cut through anything and a part of the twin swords of the void. The other black sword could void and defend against anything

He calmly positions the blade in front of him and the projectile. The shuriken came and got cut in half, causing the two halves to spin uncontrollably into nearby trees, impaling them.

"Is that all?" said Kan as he realized that he was in a trap. The invisible sword dropped to the ground and dispersed in thin air

"You did well, creating a trap while I was distracted", complimented Kan as he analyzed the chakra strings all around him. The Unknown Hunter was further angered at Kan's complement, only fueling her rage, "Feel the heat! Unleash - Katon: Fire Grid Incineration!"

Suddenly fire quickly traveled down every chakra string surrounding Kan, growing hotter with every passing second. Kan could feel the heat coming his way, and was about to do something but realized that the chakra strings began moving and tightly gripped his body, before emitting continuous flames.

Using his roughly unmatched wind mastery, Kan actually becomes a part of it. Merging with the air in the environment around him through the process of sublimation, similar to that of the Hozuki clan's ability to do the same with water. The impacted area around his body becomes gaseous, causing the wires to pass through him while leaving him completely unharmed before solidifying back into his original form.

The Unknown hunter was shocked to the extreme. But she didn't falter.

She charged toward Kan holding the 'Ram' hand seal "Shadow clone Jutsu", a number of ten shadow clones appeared beside the unknown hunter as she ran, some ejecting into the air holding Tantō in each hand. She added chakra on the bottom of her heels adding speed. All ten surrounding him almost completely in order to weigh his options down.

Each using its own style of attack and strategy.

"So predictable", muttered Kan before he jumped back, "Wind Release: whispering winds"

By altering the properties of the winds, He literally vanishes from sight. Allowing him to hide anywhere within plain sight.

Kan who was invisible started attacking for the first time in this match.

Suddenly a clone screamed as its chest collapsed in on itself, killing it instantly before it went away in smoke. Kan then looks at another clone that was swinging a Tantō wildly. Kan cuts the clone's arm shortly after. The clone disappears shortly after, with three more taking her place.

The real Hunter just kept on watching stunningly as her clones disappear on their own. Suddenly, there was a sword sticking out of her chest.

'When'

She grit her teeth and cough blood.

"You are good, but you lack experience. Now, You will tell me exactly what I want", Said the monotonous voice from her back

"Go to hell", said the unknown Hunter, knowing full well that she has been utterly defeated.

Kan twisted the sword in his hand a little. And her screams filled the forest.

(Hokage Office)

BEEP BEEP

An alarm sounded alerting everyone at the Hokage's office.

Hokage, who was doing his paperwork was suddenly stunned. Same with the elders and others who were in the Hokage tower.

All the Anbus spread out throughout the tower.

Hokage used his telescope to see what happened. But to his surprise. The crystal ball only shows the wall of chakra. Covering everything.

The Scholar looking man came running to the office, "Hokage sama"

"What is it? why are you shivering?"

The Scholar-looking man bit his lips, "Sir... it's disastrous"

"What is it?"

"Sir, I am afraid that... the Anbu that we chose to bring and assess Kan Korimachi's strength... betrayed us, she was the sleeping agent from the enemy nation and... she stole our confidential information while killing three Anbus guards in the process"

!!!!

"Say what?", Hokage stood up angrily

"I am sorry sir..."

"Do you have any idea what you have done?", Hokage asked stunned

"I am truly sorry sir"

"STOP REPEATING IT. WHERE IS SHE?"

"She... she disappeared"

"You... find her. Forget about this Kan, and use all the resources that we have on her. And if you don't find her within 24 hours. Consider yourself dead. IS THAT UNDERSTOOD", Hokage said while releasing a mighty killing intent

"Y-Yes sir"

"Also, she overloaded the seal structure in Hokage's tower. Have someone to fix it"

"Y-Yes sir"

"Hiruzen, I heard someone stole an important document from our treasury", came Danzo from outside

"I know. I get to know about this just now as well. Don't worry, I will find the culprit, and punish her", Hokage looks at the scholar-looking man.

The scholar-looking man gulped. And practically ran away.

...

Outside Konoha, Kan reads the confidential information for a while before burning it down.

"They will be busy with this for a while", Kan muttered as he went back to the village

Only to be greeted by an Anbu

"Kan Korimachi. You are summoned by Lord Hokage"

Kan was surprised, 'what the heck...'
