ARISSA'S POV

I am Arissa Guiterrez, 21 years old, and I have a secret boyfriend. His name is Francis Monteverde. He is a vampire, but he is not an ordinary vampire because he is a vampire prince. Our relationship is forbidden because it is forbidden to love someone who is not of our kind, but I don't care. I love him so much that I am willing to break our law just for our relationship.

I am currently in our palace eating with my parents. While we were eating, I suddenly felt dizzy and felt like I wanted to vomit, so I immediately went to our sink and vomited. And at that moment, I felt elated. I am not stupid enough to not know that I am pregnant, and I touched my stomach and a smile crept into my face. When I turned around, I was surprised when my father slapped me. I immediately touched my cheek where my father had slapped me.

"Tell me who's the father?" My father shouted furiously, but I remained silent.

"I'm asking you! Who's the father of that child? " father shouted again that made me almost jump out of fear "F-Francis. Francis Monteverde" I stammered in response

"What?!The Prince of vampires?!" father asked angrily. "Y-yes," I replied,

"Have you lost your mind, Arissa?! You know your relationship is not possible, right?!" My father shouted,

"But father, I really love him! Please, just give us your blessing, even if it's not for my sake. Just let us be together for your future grandchild. Can you bear seeing your grandchild grow up without a father? Please have mercy on your grandchild," I don't know where I got the strength to say that to my father.

And my father sighed, "All right, I agree. But are you sure that the vampire Prince will take the responsibility? " My father asked me, and I nodded, and my father and mother hugged me. Aww, how I love them. They are understanding and loving. Then the next day, I went to meet Francis in our meeting place, and from where I was, I saw that he had turned his back on me, so he had not seen me yet. I quickly ran to where he was and covered his eyes.

"Arissa," he said, and removed my hands from covering his eyes, and faced me. I encircled my arm around his neck, and we kissed passionately, and then we pressed our foreheads together.

"I have good news!" I said while grinning widely.

"What is it?" he asked.

"My parents have already given their blessing to us!" I said happily. "Really, but how?" he asked incredulously, "Because I'm pregnant!" I said happily, which made his eyes widen.

"Is it true? Am I really going to be a father?" he asked, and I nodded, and he hugged me and lifted me.

"You don't know how happy I am!" he said happily.

"I love you so much, Arissa. You and our future child are my life, " he said.

"I love you too, Francis. You and our future child are my life, " I said.

A few days later, Francis went with his parents to ask for my hand. At first, I was surprised because he didn't inform me. Francis and I have been married for years, and since then we have lived together with vampires, wizards, and more.

After two years, I'm now pregnant with my second child. My first child is Drake Monteverde. He's now 2 years old. Today is my due date. I took a deep breath and urged myself to push my baby down. I am currently giving birth to my second child. After a while, my baby successfully came out of my womb.

"Congratulations, your highness, your baby is a girl," said the midwife who helped me give birth.

She handed our daughter to Francis. Then he looked at our daughter in awe.

"She's a very beautiful girl. She looks like a goddess, " said Francis.

"Father, can I see my little sister?" Drake asked. He is just 2 years old, but he no longer stammers when he speaks, but we're not normal beings, so I no longer wonder why Drake is like that. Francis sat down so that Drake could see his sister.

"Dad is right, she's beautiful!" Drake was overjoyed. I knew he would be a good brother to his sister.

"Hey, let me take a look!" I said, and they came to me, and Francis gave my baby to me.

"Both of you are right! She's beautiful! " I said happily, we are not lying. We're telling the truth when we say our daughter is beautiful. Her looks are comparable to that of a goddess.

"What is her name, mom?" Drake asked, which made me think. Ahah! I already knew my baby's name, and I smiled because I think the name suits her very well.

"Her name is Sophia. Princess Sophia Monteverde" I said it while smiling, and they smiled back. Then Sophia suddenly cried.

"Uwaaahh! Uwwaahh! Uwaahh! " Sophia cried.

At the same time as she cried, the wind grew stronger and the dragons roared all of a sudden. It keeps on roaring louder as if they understood Sophia's feelings. You read it right, dragons. Because there are actually dragons here in Augsberg, but they are elusive and they do not show themselves to anyone. While Sophia was crying, suddenly there was a blue glow on her arm and when we looked at it, it was a crescent moon design with a circle in the middle and black color. This is the first time I have seen such a birthmark, and it is also the first time I have seen a symbol like that. What is going on here? That is the question that is on our minds right now. Suddenly, the wind got stronger and the oracle appeared,

"Why did you come here all of a sudden?" Francis asked, completely confused,

"Destiny has come. The woman in the prophecy has come. The woman who has a lot of powers. Her power is unmatched by anyone or anything. She is the savior, but she can also be the destroyer. They will fight for the name of love. " Oracle says,

"What do you mean she can be a savior or a destroyer, and, more importantly, who the hell is she?" Francis asked,

"Who the hell is she, you ask? Well, she is none other than your one and only daughter. If you do not raise her properly, she can be the cause of the destruction." said the oracle.

"How come my daughter became the woman in the prophecy? She may be only a vampire or a wizard. " I asked,

"You need to protect her and never let her go into the darkness with evil people because when that happens, it will be the end of the whole world. She can kill all the living things here on earth in just the blink of an eye. That's how powerful she is." The oracle said and she didn't even bother answering my question. We would have asked more, but she suddenly disappeared.

In recent years, the whole kingdom of Augsberg has lived quietly. Drake is already 10 years old, while Sophia is just turning 8 years old tomorrow. We won't be able to celebrate together just in case dark creatures take it as an opportunity to attack tomorrow.

Dark creatures are evil vampires, wizards, wolves, and other evil creatures. Their king is Lucifer Monteverde, and yes, he and Francis are brothers. He became bad because he thought Francis and I had betrayed him. After all, Lucifer had liked me for a long time, but I didn't notice it because Francis is the only one that matters to me.

In the middle of midnight, I woke Sophia and said, "Princess? Princess wake-up! " As I gently tapped Sophia's arms.

"Hmm? Is there any problem, mom? " said Sophia as she rubbed her eyes. How cute! I'll miss her calling me mom and hearing her sweet voice. I didn't even realize I was already crying.

"Mother, why are you crying?" she asks innocently.

"Don't mind me, baby, I just got dust in my eyes. You have to go with your aunt Sarah because I want you to be able to take a vacation. After all, you are always confined here in the palace." I explained.

Sarah is my best friend. She is a mortal, and she was also the first person I told about my relationship with Francis.

"But mother, I don't want to leave all of you. I will miss you! " she said. My daughter is really sweet.

"Princess, don't be stubborn, okay? Go with your Aunt Sarah. This is for your own sake!" Drake said this while sobbing. Francis is already here with Sarah. I didn't notice their arrival because I was too busy with Sophia.

"But brother! I don't want to leave you because I love you. I don't want to be apart from you. We're family, so we should always stick together. I will not leave without all of you," Sophia cried. "We love you too, princess. That's why we want you to leave. This is for your own good, " Drake said. And Sophia sighed heavily.

"Okay, fine! But promise me first, I'll be there for just a while, because I can't bear not seeing you for a long time. I will miss you so badly, " she said.

"Promise. It won't take too long. We will be together again. Just wait for us. " Drake lied and hugged his sister and Francis, and I also hugged Sophia.

"Sleep, " I said, and she fell asleep immediately. I cast a spell on her which made her fall asleep. I put my hand on Sophia's head.

"Remove all her memories of us, about vampires and other mythical creatures. Return her memories when she reaches the age of 16. " I cast, and Francis handed her to Sarah.

"Runaway from here immediately before he comes!!" Francis said,

"And where do you plan to go? You can't take her away! " said Lucifer, and beside him, I saw a boy. Lucifer is here with him. He is one of the reasons why I have to send my daughter to the mortal world.

"We can," said Francis

And with that, Francis attacked Lucifer. If you don't know yet, there are only the two of them, Lucifer and that boy. He is the only one here. They have no other companion. He's underestimating our ability. How brazen of him.

"Sarah, go!" I shout because I am fighting him.

"No! You can't take her away from me!" the child shouted,

"Yes, we can! You'll never have my sister!" Drake shouted and rushed at him.

"Are you sure you will fight me? You are not even half my strength! You are weak!" He shouted.

I immediately helped Drake because I knew he had nothing against him. He's too strong. I don't want to say anything, but what he said is true because only Sophia can beat him.

"Sarah! Go! Runaway with Sophia now! Take good care of her! I trust you!" I shouted at Sarah,

Then I saw that she ran away while carrying Sophia and entered the portal that I made to the human realm a while ago. They are already gone. I'm glad and sad at the same time. I am glad because I know my child is safe. Sad because there is a possibility that we will not be able to see my child again. I didn't realize I was crying and then I saw Drake and Francis tearing up as well.

As we continued to fight, I saw that Lucifer was about to stab Francis, so I immediately threw my sword at Lucifer, which caused his death and turned him into ashes. I didn't realize I was crying. It would be my fault if he hadn't just loved me. We might still be friends right now. Maybe my daughter will no longer need to hide. I know he was just blinded by his love for me.

Francis and Drake hugged me. "What happened to Lucifer is not your fault. Okay? So don't cry, okay? " Francis comforted me,

"Father is right, mother, it is not your fault why Lucifer died. You just protected Father," said Drake.

"I'm sure Princess will also say the same. Also, if Princess sees you now, she will definitely be sad, so smile, " said Francis.

"We will wait for her return," said Francis. I quickly wiped away my tears.

They were correct; Princess would be sad if she saw me crying because she disliked seeing sad or crying people mostly when it's the people she loves.

"We can overcome all of this. We have to be strong for Sophia." I said and we both smiled and wiped away our tears. This is all for Sophia's sake we must remain strong.
