The Leader Of Legendclad (II)

"Legendclad, which will be the new Company name from now on, will not accept prideful members who find fault in everything and are unaccepting to new things, that makes you inflexible and you can very possibly lose even your lives. Anybody wants prove? Ask some of your bronze and silver members, did any of them realise some of their rankmates are still not back from the Obelisks? Yes, they died when they tried to conquer the Obelisk under Kim Seongwon," Seunghyuk said sternly, the red glow still flashed threateningly in his eyes, so he stood up from his chair and stepped forward, the front few members squirmed back in fright as Seunghyuk continued, "So let's play a simple game of one on one..."

"Which whoever loses can simply pack up and leave Legendclad, and I don't mind sending anybody who still wants to work under Kim Seongwon, under ConcCube to be buried next to Kim Seongwon. Who's first?" Seunghyuk said with a tone so frightening that almost the whole crowd was shaking physically.

Seunghyuk watched as no one stepped forward, and he never thought of it as a good thing, because scaring people into doing something is the worst way of doing something. Seunghyuk wanted to properly convince the members of Legendclad that they should forget ConcCube along with Kim Seongwon and that he would be able to lead the company better than Kim Seongwon ever did.

"No one? Let's make things clear then. I won't use my unaccepted status here in this company to submit any of you to death, because none of you here are convinced I actually have my ways to do it," Seunghyuk walked back slowly as he explained, then he felt a few hands raised up, so he turned back and counted them mentally, "Okay, do 5 of you, 2 silvers and 3 bronzes. Do you 5 want to come at me at once?"

"Seunghyuk...Sir! Don't be reckless! There are better ways to resolve issues!" Yumi suddenly got worried of what would happen next and Jisung just stayed still in the packed crowds of members, showing Seunghyuk a face of slight frantic, but Seunghyuk shook his head lightly and voiced out once again, his voice amplified with the help of the special gum in his mouth, "I'm fine. Now, would you 5 want to settle this right here or with Battle Pods? I'm fine with both if it takes that to convince you and knock you back to shape."

Seunghyuk provoked menacingly but none of the members, even those from the 5 members whom had raised their hands did not utter a word in defiance which Seunghyuk did not know whether to feel contented or concerned about.

"I think...We should do it here...now, in real life!" One of the five members who raised their hands stepped out, informing Seunghyuk which made him smile a little knowing at least a few people still had their backbones intact, so he replied poisely, "Sure, let's start."

Seunghyuk stood still, not bending down into a preparation stance or anything, he merely looked and observed the five members skills and formulated his next plan of action. Before he was done with his processing, the five all rushed together at once, all concentrating their attacks on one spot of his body——starting with his head. Seunghyuk saw the messy fists and feet flying around aimed for his head and quickly raised his right hand into the air, slapping one of the fists aside, pulling his hand back and snapping the wrist of another fist. Without any time to breathe in between, he instantly raised his right leg and countered the two feet coming towards his head, using his last vacant left hand to push away the last limb, hence successfully forcing the five members backwards without using even a single skill or weapon.

"How...?" Seunghyuk heard one of the members in the five question suddenly, then another member tried to give his team false hope, "Guys! That young man was just lucky! Let's attack again! Ahhh!"

The five rushed forward towards Seunghyuk stubbornly aiming towards a single point again, and Seunghyuk used his right foot to kick the Silver-ranked member running in the middle back, sending shock to the other four members' faces. The crowd of members watching the fight also watched with their brows furrowed in curiosity due to the weirdly-played-out battle.

"What have you all learnt under Kim Seongwon? To attack an enemy in a single spot despite having more members which gives more limbs?" Seunghyuk mocked and immediately activated his fire skill with 2MP, hurling the angry ball of fire at the patch of floor beside the five members, "Happy? Have all of you played enough?"

Seunghyuk voiced out as the five members all helplessly sitting on the ground, the others watching with shocked expressions almost like this eyes were expanded to the extent that it was almost popping out in shock and surprise.

"Now that I have lesser people creating trouble..." Just when Seunghyuk was about to introduce himself properly, another voice cut through the air and the figure jumped out of the big crowd and in front of Seunghyuk, making a bow to Seunghyuk saying, "I'm Ku Sangwoong, and I am here to have a match with you with the Battle Pods. I am in no way defying you on purpose, but I personally think that this should be beneficial for both you and me, we all need this battle to prove ourselves."

Seunghyuk nodded at the member's words and used the Eye of Detection on him, and suppressed his shock deep down with practiced ease as he followed Yumi up to Level 5 again. Once the elevator doors closed and the elevator moved up two floors, Yumi started to go crazy, as she stomped the floor childishly with her foot, exiting the elevator when the doors opened to the Leader's Room.

"I don't know what you're doing, Seunghyuk, but your noona is really worried...What if you—" Yumi was interrupted abruptly by another voice cutting her words into half from her back and Jisung appeared in sight as he cut in, "Noona! Right now, all we can do is trust Seunghyuk-hyung's actions. I have faith in him and I know he isn't being reckless! Hyung has the ability to win me in a Battle Pod match, so I don't see how he would be able to lose to any members on this company, even if they are of Gold ranks like Ku Sangwoong, I'm sure Seunghyuk-hyung would defeat him easily!"

Seunghyuk smiled warmly as he watched the scene unfolding in front of him, but Yumi just rushed Seunghyuk with the constant excuse of the members waiting and that they do not like to be held up waiting. Seunghyuk resisted himself and advised himself constantly over and over again not to ruffle Jisung's hair, like he was having an internal angel and devil's battle, but he ended up just smiling widely at Jisung as a silent 'thank you' before entering the Battle Pod. Yumi did not wait until Seunghyuk fully settled now and with the same excuse hung around her mouth, she pressed the button on the side of the Battle Pod and the glass door closed, blocking out all sound on the outside of the Battle Pod. Yumi was seen grabbing Jisung by his collar and shouting, but Seunghyuk could not hear even a single word from her open mouth.

"Looks like I still need to prove myself to the whole company..." Seunghyuk slowly let his eyes shut and bring his mental state to a subconscious one, his character appearing in the Battle space, waiting for Ku Sangwoong, "My 11th match, I hope I can make this my 11th win as well. Two gold-ranked matches in a row...That's really fulfilling."

Seunghyuk sarcastically remarked and Ku Sangwoong appeared on the opposite side of the Battle space. Before the match began, a huge screen showed up at the sides of the Battle space, which is a first for Seunghyuk, showing a live feed of the members in Level 1 watching the match between Seunghyuk and Sangwoong intensely. Seunghyuk concentrated as he locked in onto Ku Sangwoong's body actions, but when he was about to rush in without thinking much into battle, he was stopped by a dumbfounded Ku Sangwoong.

"Wait...? Are you not the Hyung-nim that fought the Head of Gold-ranked Members, Jeon Jisung, and won? Even against a full set of armour and many rare treasures, you're the one who had won?" Ku Sangwoong questioned a little too excitedly, losing his calm composure he always had on, but Seunghyuk on the other hand, kept his cool well as he replied, "Yes that's me. Are you telling me all this so you can back out now? You're going to back out when you realise I've beaten the best in the company?"

Ku Sangwoong shook his head with resolution filling the Battle space and Seunghyuk broke into a smile uncontrollably, eyeing every single movement in the space before he replied, "Glad to see that you still haven't lost your will to fight!"
