Just a Colourful stone.

"You are going to the forest again?"

A boy of about eight years is asking his friend.

"Of course, yesterday I saw colourful things and I will go and bring them back home with me today"

Kendrick excitedly said.

"So after all the warning giving by the elders, you still want to go ?"

"Hmm, I am not afraid of neither dark nor monsters"

"Just because you have been able to have the ability to control the animals in the city, those in the forest are not animals, they are beast!"

"Hey, turn down your voice, if my big brother hears this he will stop me and berated me, your birthday is not that far away, if you did tell someone, I will not come to your birthday"

Even though Kendrick is younger, he is one of the most intelligent if not the mkst intelligent in the younger generation and he know how to get what he wants from his peers.

"Okay, I will keep this a secret"

Eric contemplated for a bit before complying to Kendrick's demands.

Kendrick thank his friend and run towards the forest direction.

Some strange phenomena occurs many years back which cause the humans to gain abilities and beast mutated into dangerous and powerful beast. Many people gets different abilities, some even made theirs a family heritage but so many people view the beast tamer ability as trash.

Kendrick is one of such people who awakened that, his parents requested that he chose one of their abilities and learn but Kendrick is a lover of beasts, he stubbornly declined.

'I don't think mum is an ordinary fire user, she is so skillfull, I will also be the best legendary beast tamer to have ever walk the lands'

Kendrick have a very grand dream where he will show everyone that beast tamers are not trash, because he saw infinite potential in beas taming.

In his family, their is his Father and mother, their is also his elder brother and lastly their is Kendrick himself.

He quickly run out of the town and into the forest.

'It should be somewhere around here, I am sure of it, I will check it again'

Kendrick keep searching the area with the hope that he can find his precious lovely stone.

"Aha! There it is"

Kendrick quickly run towards a stone with black colour being the most predominant coloure, but it also has all sorts of colours, the myriad of colours is what kendrick loves.

"Argh, this stone is quiet heavy but I must take you home today"

Kendrick carried the stone and gets on his way to home.

'Hmm what is that sound'

Kendrick turns around and inspected his surroundings but can not find the source of that sound.

"hmm"

Kendrick looks around but this time he look down.

He saw a cute baby wolf, watching him with his adorable eyes.

"So you are the source of that sound"

Awoo (Yes)

Kendrick is also able to understand what beast said and he can also speak to them and they can understand him, this is all part of Kendrick's ability.

"Hmm, this is interesting. Will you like to come with me?"

The little wolf excitedly nodded his head.

"Come fast, I will go home now"

Kendrick squat down and pick the wolf and he kept him on his shoulder, kendrick quickly run home.

The door is open and a tall boy with similar looks to Kendrick.

"Uhh, hello brother, how is your day?"

"Don't divert the topic, where are you from?"

"Hahaha"

Kendrick nervously laugh.

"I just play with Eric before coming here"

"You lied, their are no colourful stones like the one you are holding, we don't have them inside the city, from where are you coming?"

"Just the outskirts of the city"

"Another lie, stop hiding the new little friend you bring home"

It seems his brother noticed the little wolf that Kendrick brought home.

"Let's not waste time, you are from the forest, ain't you?"

"Yes I am"

"Good"

"Ahh! I am sorry"

Right now, Kendrick's big brother has grab his ear and twist it.

"How many times do I have to warn you? How many times do I need to tell you the dangers in the forest?"

"But I return fine!"

"What if a dangerous beast is lurking around? I always tell you to inform me when you are going out, didn't I?"

"To answer your first question, their are no what ifs in this world, to answer your second question, you did but it will not be fun if everytime I will go out I have to inform you"

"Logan! Kendrick"

"Yes mum"

They both answered, Logan is the name of Kendrick's big brother.

"Come in for your dinner"

"Okay"

"This is not the end of it"

Logan made a ' I am watching you' sign before going.

Kendrick first go to his room and hide his colourful stone and his new wolf friend, he then join the family for a family dinner.

This colourful stone is what will change Kendrick's life forever, what if the stone is a dragon egg?
