4 Chapter 3

Jin and his two beast companions have successfully entered the dark cave. What met them was extreme darkness. Jin went to Jumbo and took out from one of the bags a fire rod. An item invented by the Crafts Association.

"KSHA"

Jin lightened the fire rod, which brightened the area around them.

Jumbo and Blizzard looked around, the cave was really wide and high.

"Let's continue."

"Yes, master." Jumbo and Blizzard said in unison.

"So, master, had actually set up a poisonous trap before my arrival?" Blizzard asked Jumbo. He wanted to know how he had lost to Jin.

"Yes," Jumbo replied.

"WHOA." Blizzard Let out a surprised gasp. According to Jumbo, their master would always set up a poisonous trap around them when they are eating or taking a break in the wilderness, that trap causes paralyze. It was called the poisonous field. What was amazing was that the poison was odorless and colorless making it extremely lethal.

"That explains why I wasn't able to detect it." Blizzard thought quietly.

"Blizzard, how did you figure it out that I used a mind-controlling technique?" Jin asked with interest. Mind-controlling techniques were extremely rare.

"Well, when I was young, an elderly wolf who lived for too long told me about the mind-controlling techniques.

When I smelled the wolf you had poisoned, I immediately realized what kind of technique it is after sensing the changes in his mind."

"I see," Jin said with a smile.

"HEHE! I wanted to obtain the mind-controlling technique to trade it for a valuable treasure." Blizzard said with a smile.

"BANG" "BANG"

Suddenly…

Fierce fighting sounds came from afar. Three people were engaging in a battle against a huge snake. People would occasionally visit the dark caves to gather valuable plants. The cold and dark environment of the cave was really suitable for the growth of some plants.

"Oh!" Blizzard said as he got to see the look of the three people. Astonishingly, the three people looked young around fifteen or sixteen years old. They wore special medals that lightened the area around them.

"Their background must be extraordinary if they wield such a power in this young age," Jumbo commented.

"Yeah, but looks like they will lose to that high-ranked commander beast," Blizzard replied with a carefree expression.

"Argh." One of the three people was sent flying by the snake's powerful tail.

"Big brother!" The other two immediately retreated to their big brother.

"I am fine." replied the young boy who was clad in a black robe.

"Big brother, what are we going to do? This snake is extremely powerful." A young girl clad in a yellow robe said.

"Yes, how are we going to escape?" A young boy clad in a blue robe said nervously.

"You go and escape, I will stall some time for you." replied the boy in black.

"What!?" replied the young girl.

"There is no time, go, go now!" yelled the boy in black.

Seeing their elder brother like this, the other two teenagers could only nod and run.

"KEKE, Do you think leaving is that easy?" The huge snake laughed with a smirk.

"WHOOSH"

With a quick move, the huge snake arrived before the two teenagers.

"You are not going to touch them."

The boy in black roared as he dashed towards the huge snake. With a sword covered in fire, he attacked the huge snake with a stab.

"Take this." Screamed the boy in black with a fierce face.

"Humf! A wimp like you Dares to obstacle me?" The huge snake snorted in disdain. With a quick move from its huge tail, the boy in black was sent flying again.

"Wow, this snake has some abilities." Blizzard praised from the side.

"Yeah, with this kind of scales, no wonder the burning sword didn't do anything to it." Commented Jumbo from the side.

"KEKE! Human, I will eat you first before eating the other two." The huge snake said as it moved slowly towards the boy in black.

"NOO" The young girl screamed as she saw the upcoming sad fate of her big brother.

"AH!" The boy in black let out a small scream. No one would want to be eaten by a huge snake.

"SHOO"

An arrow with an amazing speed went towards the head of the huge snake.

"Eh!" The Huge snake turned its head to the right where the arrow is coming.

"TSK, another wimp is here." The huge snake said with a displeased face. It didn't like to be interrupted when it eats.

"Crack"

"HEHE, my scales are pretty unbreakable." The huge snake laughed. it didn't need to make a move to stop the coming arrow as its scales were enough to do the job.

"FSH"

The red smoke entered the huge snake's head.

"Oh!? A poisonous smoke." The huge snake was stunned for a moment.

Suddenly…

"BWAHAHA, are you for real!? Using poisons against a snake?" The huge snake burst into laughter like a maniac. Snakes were famous for their immunity to poisons.

Suddenly…

"Eh!? W…What is happening to me?" The huge snake said with a shocked face. The power that he had been proud of was gone. It now couldn't even raise its own tail.

"W…What did you do to me?" The huge snake roared in anger as it looked at Jin.

"HEHE, I feel you, Bro! But seriously, did I look like that?" Blizzard said as he looked at Jumbo.

"Well, you guess!" Jumbo replied with a smirk.

"Ouch! That was extremely embarrassing." Blizzard said as he covered his face with his paw.

"Young man, aren't you going to escape?" Jin ignored the roars of the huge snake and shouted at the boy in black.

"A…Ah! Yes." The boy who had a stunned expression a moment ago replied with excitement. He thought earlier that he will leave this world for good, but fortunately, he was saved. With a quick run, he arrived before his teammates.

"Big brother, are you okay?" The two teenagers asked with worried faces.

"I'm fine." replied the boy in black with a smile.

"AHHH! Human, you are so dead."

The huge snake said as it began to make loud hissing sounds.

"What is it doing?" Jumbo asked quietly.

"he is calling for help," Jin replied.

Suddenly…

"Who dares to cause troubles in my own territory!?" With a roar, a big shadow appeared behind the huge snake.
