Frost Mountain

Among the towering trees, a young lady in veil wearing white robes and hair white as snow was battling against the metal clawed wolf.

It was Lim Su Ren, she had turned her hair white and wore a veil to avoid unnecessary troubles. she had been training here for a week now.

At this moment, she was facing a High-class First rank Metal clawed wolf, infamous for its vicious claws.

Leaping up swiftly, she used a powerful sword move to slice the wolf's throat. Howling out loud, the wolf made its last struggle and with a 'thump' it fell on the ground.

Landing swiftly on the ground with her spotless white dress without any trail of blood, Lim Su Ren said to herself, "The first move of the second level of Deviant Flame sword art is extremely powerful if I have not comprehended the second level, I am afraid I wouldn't be able to take down this wolf"

She collected the valuable parts of the Metal clawed wolf and left the place, as the scent of the blood may attract other beasts.

After wandering around the outer region of the Frost mountain, Lim Su Ren had improved her combat abilities.

Another week passed, and today, just as Lim Su Ren was about to wander deep into the outer regions, she felt an extreme cold coming from the inner regions. She halted and wondered if it is what Lim Shotian had told her about the Frost mountain.

Using the cold flame energy, she covered her entire body and after a while, the cold disappeared and she heard the white flame once again, "Host, you don't need to worry about this kind of cold, since you possessed the legendary White flame, it won't affect you"

Lim Su Ren nodded and looked towards the inner region of the Frost mountain and asked the White Flame, "Little white, do you know what is inside the inner region of the Frost mountain?"

The White Flame replied, "I can't sense it from here, if your cultivation is at Martial warrior I could easily tell what it is"

Lim Su Ren frowned and thought, ' Everything depends on my strength, even though little white is no ordinary cold flame, it can only grow stronger along with me.'

The White Flame said again, "perhaps I might be able to tell what it is if we are near the periphery of the inner regions"

Without any hesitation, Lim Su Ren headed towards the inner region.

After an hour, Lim Su Ren heard the excited voice of the White Flame, "Host, I can feel it, it is a million years old Frost stone which was formed naturally due to the cold wind that passed through the mountains"

Lim Su Ren replied, "Frost stone! is it something good!"

The White Flame replied, " yes, Frost stone is a treasure. Anyone who could refine it could possess a cold property just like you who possessed the Purple, Red, and White flame making it different from other people. But not many people are aware of its uses"

Standing near the periphery of the inner regions, Lim Su Ren looked around and found that the trees and the ground were already covered in Frost. She said, "Since I have you, the legendary White flame, I think it won't be of any use to me, since it's inferior to you right!"

The White Flame replied, "No, if you can get your hands on the Frost stone, I can absorb it to improve my strength and also, most importantly I can appear in front of you in my form, hehe"

Lim Su Ren also got interested in Frost stone after hearing it from the White flame, so she said, "Then what are we waiting for, let's go right away"

Saying this, she headed towards the center of the inner region.

The White Flame was so excited that it forgot one thing, only after a while did it remember and said, "uh... host..wait... I forgot to tell you one thing."

Sensing that something is wrong, Lim Su Ren slowed down her pace and asked, "What's wrong?"

The White Flame hesitated for a while and said, "well... uh.. the thing is, the Frost stone will only emit out it's cold when it's in danger. So... I think someone stronger than you, perhaps higher than King warrior realm might already be here before us"

Lim Su Ren was shocked and asked the white flame, " Little White, you mean someone higher than King warrior realm is already trying to take away the Frost Stone! and that's why it is emitting the cold.

Little white replied in a small voice, "yes host, uh.. you are so smart, hehe"

Twitching her lips, Lim Su Ren replied, "Smart your ass, why are you telling me this now only. Do you want me to snatch the Frost Stone from someone whose strength is probably higher than a King warrior realm!"

The White Flame flame again replied in a small voice, "I don't have a form right now, so I don't have an ass"

Lim Su Ren didn't know whether to laugh or cry at the White Flame's response. So, she just asked, "What about the beast? why haven't I came across any higher-ranked beasts here in the inner regions?"

"Beasts below the fourth rank might have already frozen to death by now, only those at the fifth rank and higher can resist the cold. If I am not mistaken, they might have headed towards the place where the Frost stone is", replied the White Flame again in a small voice.

Lim Su Ren halted her pace and said, "What?? even beasts! I go back, if I went there with this little strength of mine, I will become dead meat within a second"

Turning back, she was about to leave the place when suddenly she heard a loud noise coming towards her. Within a second, a huge python and a man dressed in a black robe appeared in front of her battling.

Lim Su Ren swiftly dodged to the side avoiding the attacks. She said to herself gasping for breath, "Facing a High-class Fifth rank silver scaled python head on the head! this man probably is at Saint warrior Realm"

While Lim Su Ren was watching the battle between the python and the Black robe man, the White Flame said, "Host, quickly go to the center now, this is our chance to get the Frost Stone. I can sense that there is no one near the Frost stone at the moment"

Lim Su Ren replied, "What if we get caught by that black-robed man?"

"The battle will at least take an hour, after taking the Frost stone, we can leave the mountain", said the white flame.

After hesitating for a while, Lim Su Ren headed towards the center. The black-robed man gave a glance towards the direction of Lim Su Ren and continued to battle the silver-scaled python.

Reaching the center of the inner region, Lim Su Ren opened her eyes wide witnessing the huge battle that took place here. There were many corpses of beasts belonging to Fourth rank and Fifth rank laying around and blood covered the entire ground.

At the center, among the frosts, there was a Blue colored stone that was glowing brightly. Lim Su Ren looked at the Bluestone from a hundred meters distance and asked the white flame, "Little White, is that the Frost stone you are talking about!"

The White Flame happily replied, "Yes, yes... quickly channel the cold flame towards your palm and take it"

Walking towards the Frost stone, Lim Su Ren channeled her cold flame towards her palm and the cold flame appeared on her hand.

The Blue colored stone soon started to shake violently, it was struggling under the pressure of the White flame. After struggling for a while, the Blue colored stone which was glowing brightly soon started to lose its brightness, and slowly it turned into a normal Bluestone and it landed on Lim Su Ren's hands.

Taking the Frost stone Lim Su Ren turned towards the opposite direction of the black-robed man and started to run away.

After Lim Su Ren took the Frost Stone, the forest slowly started to turn back to its normal temperature.

The black-robed man who was battling against the silver-scaled python fiercely looked towards the center of the forest.

Holding a sword in his hand, he performed a sword art and soon a Blue flame covered the entire sword and it slashed towards the silver scaled python.

The python's head was cut off and the black-robed man landed on the ground holding his chest, on closer look, there was a blue flame on his pupils.

Soon, he coughed out a mouthful of blood and at this moment another man in black appeared. Seeing the condition of the black robe man, he hurriedly went towards his direction and supported him and said "Master, you shouldn't have forcefully used your Blue Flame, it will only worsen your injuries"
