1 Prologue

A gate opened in the middle of London.

"Make yourself ready, soldiers. The gate is fully opened and we don't know what will come out," said the army commander.

"Sir, something is coming out of the gate. Humans?" A soldier said.

"Hold back."

The first human came out of the gate. The commander walked to him and tried to communicate with him.

"Can you understand me? What are you?" Asked the commander.

A shot rang through the air. The man fell down. His blood was as red as the blood of a human.

"WHO SHOT HIM!"

Nobody replied. More strange humans came through the gate. They all noticed their companion lying on the ground. Dead.

"There are about ten thousand people that came out of the gate," said a soldier. The strange humans circled around the body of their dead companion and all of them turned their heads towards the army. Everything on their face said that they were furious.

"Commander, fireballs are flying in every direction."

"Magic? That was only a fairytale. What are they?" Said the commander.

"Aim and kill!" The commander screamed. "It's war!"

"Commander! Commander! Stay with me. We will get you out of here!" A soldier screamed.

"What happened, Alexander?!" Asked another soldier.

"It was water. They can cut with water. A slash of water cut off his hand."

"Fall back, soldiers!" Screamed another commander.

50 years have passed

"Today will be the first opening of the Military school for Unknowns and Humans," said the leader of the World Government.

'Clap-clap-clap,' sounded through the air.

On the other side of the world, in Elem, other parties have joined hands and created the Unknown's High.

"Dear friends, this will be the first school made by Unknown's and this will become our symbol. We will live, train and die in this country. Our country" said the principal of Unknown's High. He continued: "We won't obey the World Government and their rules. We are free individuals."

""This will be a new step for this world."" Said the leader of the World Government and the principal of Unknown's High.

Daesin, ten years old, was sitting on the cold and pointy grass.

"Hello, little bunny," he said to the bunny sitting on his lap. "Why does your leg have a brown spot on it."

"Daesin, the bunny says that he doesn't know how. Well, I do know," said his mother.

"I know mom. I heard what he said."

"Well, Dae. I will tell you. Did you try to touch the brown spot?" Asked his mother. Daesin touched the brown spot, and when he looked at his finger he noticed the brown stain on his hands.

"Hahaha, smell it, it is just a bit of paint," she said.

"Ah, you got me. Next time I will get you, mom!"

"Yeah, yeah. You always say that."

A couple of hours have passed and Daesin was still sitting outside while watching the forest.

"Daesin? What's wrong?" Said Daesin's mother.

"Why can't I go into the forest? The animals are telling me that it is safe inside," he replied.

"It's just... It's for your protection. Even the animals can't be too sure about it being safe inside the forest. Haven't you heard it? Three people have already disappeared."

"But mom."

"No, Daesin. This is too dangerous. I wouldn't be able to handle it if I would also lose you," said his mother. Daesin looked his mother right in the eyes and changed his mind.

"Okay, mom. I won't even try to go near the forest." Daesin stood up and went inside, straight to his bed; leaving the bunny alone so it could go to his own family.

It was already night, Daesin's mother looked outside, as the moonlight touched her soft cheeks and made her look like a goddess. She was gorgeous. She had almost gold looking hair and green eyes, while Daesin had brown eyes and black hair; which he got from his father's side. She was about one meter and 65 centimeters tall. The wind was blowing through the trees, as she kept staring at one spot. It was the place where Daesin was sitting this morning. It kept glowing red in the moonlight. She can see someone's fate in their color. In this case, red meant certain death. She could see how her son would be ripped apart by a gigantic skeleton.

She turned away from the window and looked at Daesin who was sleeping like a baby on the couch. There was actually some drool coming out of his mouth. However, something seemed strange. Daesin went upstairs to sleep in his own bed, not on the couch. When she touched his body, it vanished.

"No, my baby. It's too soon!" She was devastated. His fate, which she feared, was meant to happen today. She quickly went outside to search for some trails and indeed, she found something. Footsteps.

She went to follow the trail as quickly as possible.

Daesin's mother arrived at a wrecked old house. She followed the trail, which leads to the basement. It was a dark and smelly basement, and when she went downstairs; one of the planks broke down and she got stuck in it. The lights turned on. An enormous hall showed itself. In the middle of it was Daesin lying on the ground, sound asleep.

"Heh, heh, heh. Are you his mother? What? You've become weak. What a pity. Heh, heh, heh," said a strange voice.

"Shut up, you know nothing!" She screamed.

She was trying to get herself loose, but something weird happened. Bones emerged out of the ground and wrapped itself around her feet. She couldn't move an inch right now.

The skeleton, which she saw in Daesin's fate, showed itself. An enormous skeleton as big as an elephant, but it had the shape of a tiger.

"You can't do anything now, can you? Heh, heh, heh, now you're trapped like a mouse. Watch as I kill your son."

"I won't let you kill my son!" She pulled her feet loose and ran towards the skeleton. A kick landed on the face of the skeleton, but it didn't cause any damage. She kicked again, aimed perfectly at the temple; however, still no damage.

"Enough! Or I will kill you first and let your son watch you die," said the monster.

"No, you die!" She said. "Oh, holy ghosts of-"

'Thud' Daesin's mother fell on the ground. Behind her stood her son, Daesin, with a knife in his hands. He stabbed his own mother.

As she was slowly dying, she looked at her son. He was still unconscious. The skeleton ran away as he felt a strong presence quickly approaching. Daesin's mother wanted to say something. Daesin didn't have to understand it right now if only he could remember it one day.

"You... Please... Never forget... You real-"

The sounds slowly disappeared.
