Young Chu Feng

_Blue Moon City, Chu Family clan_

A youth reacted on instinct and threw off his warm and comfortable blanket, jumping from his wooden bed, he put on his funny looking old clothes. At this was done in a few breaths.

At this time, many of the family clan's disciples and servants were still asleep as the sky was still dark.

This youth was between thirteen or fourteen years old. He had a slim body, brown hair, brown eyes and a childish face. He was not super handsome but in all he was good looking. His eyes held a clear determination and fighting spirit.

"Just a little longer, I will reach the third rank and shut the mouths of those other disciples up."

This youth was named Chu Feng. Shortly after he was born, his mother suffered internal bleeding which was not discovered until it was too late. His father at this point decided to hang himself and also died.

He was then taken to one of his uncle and there he grew up under constant maltreatment which made him resolve to grow stronger.

In the Chu Family although Chu Feng was not the strongest, he was not weak. While there were many disciples at the second rank, Chu Feng was the second. Some talented ones had already broken through to the third rank and there were rumors of some of the family clan's geniuses who had broken through to the fourth rank.

Confronted with this reality, Chu Feng knew he had a long way to go if he really wanted to become the Chu Family's Strongest disciple.

Also his cousin Chu Fan, never let him have peace as he was at a third rank and constantly looked down on him.

Chu Feng made an oath to himself: He would take a spot in Blue Moon City and live like a king.

After washing up, Chu Feng ran towards the Chu Family training ground

Hah! Hah!

Chu Feng took a step forward and smashed his two fist in the air with both fist seeming as though they where mighty rocks preparing to crash down.

This fist art was known as the Chu Family Clan's Cold Stone Fist. The Cold Stone Fist was only a core Ranked martial art but Chu Feng had polished it to perfection and as such it could now rival the effects of a low ranked martial art.

In layman terms, all normal martial arts were classified into Core, Low, Mid, High, Peak and the rumored Holy martial art. Normally, the higher the rank, the higher the damage dealt by the art. But there were exceptions. Like when a high ranked art had been trained to perfection, it could rival a peak ranked art.

Core ranked arts aimed to to strengthen ones body and blood. The damage done by them was low. But thanks to Chu Feng's uncle, the possibility of him learning higher ranked arts were zero.

"I have been at the second rank for too long. I need to breakthrough soon."

After practicing for sometime, Chu Feng reached his limit but continued to practice even he no longer had energy in him, his eyes still had their determination in them and his will power held his legs from giving way.

After ten more minutes, Chu Feng's body collapsed. Although, he was still awake Chu Feng found it impossible to move even his fingers. Not wanting to give up, he began to draw the qi into his body and hurriedly stood up to continue his training.

Meanwhile, A old man at a safe distance watched Chu Feng with amusement in his eyes. the youth before him collapsed from overusing his will but instead of this youth to rest, he drew qi into his body and continued. Seeing this repeat itself twice now, the old man decided to gift the kid two martial art books.

"Young Man!" the old shouted and waved. Chu Feng turned. Seeing the old man looking in his direction, he walked towards him.

"Ha! Youngster I like your diligence and as such I have decided to give you these." Rubbing the ring on his left hand, two Jade stones appeared.

Chu Feng was stunned seeing a storage ring for the first time in his life. Although he had heard of it countless times, Seeing one still shocked him.

"Wait. Jade stones? No! High ranked arts! High ranked arts!" Chu Feng screamed inside of him. The old man as though know what was in his head smiled.

"This is The Azure Dragon Fist and this is The White Cloud Breathing Technique. Both are high ranked arts which will help you greatly. The Breathing Technique will aid your intake of qi as well as help you hid you aura and cultivation from people."

Chu Feng immediately ketowed to the old man. "What should this junior call senior."

The old man was once again impressed by Chu Feng's straight forwardness and replied. "This old one is called old man Chu Xian. now what is your name."

Still ketowing, Chu Feng replied. "This one is called Chu Feng."

"Well Chu Feng do not disappoint me in the family tournament." With those words, old man Chu Xian left.

Chu Feng knew his talent was not bad. It was just that compared to those rich kids who could afford to buy precious pill to increase their cultivation speed he was a weakling.

Carefully tucking the Jade stones in his clothes, Chu Feng continued his training.

An hour later, the sun was up. Chu Family disciples began to steadily fill the training ground.

Seeing the ground becoming filled up, Chu Feng turned to leave, a sound came behind him.

_pah_

A hand as strong as metal hit his back.

"You!..."

Chu Feng almost lost his balance and was now angry. His stupid cousin was here to cause him trouble again. His cousin had a slightly red hair, childish handsome face and brown eyes that were filled with playfulness.

Chu Feng was filled with anger but swallowed it as he was not strong enough to to beat his cousin. "Chu Fan what have I done wrong for you to hit me."

"Chu Fan with your skills, you should be able to beat this brat in ten moves."

"Ten moves? You are underestimating Chu Fan three moves are more than enough." The disciples beside Chu Fan spoke as they anticipated a fight.

"Hahaha, Three moves? You underestimate me. Chu Fan too much for this brat, I only need one move."

Hearing this words Chu Feng immediately knew they were here to humiliate him.
