1 Chapter 1

In a dim room, a man with a plump body and a height of about 1.6 meters was standing in front of the mirror. Wearing a black tuxedo, he stared at his reflection with a certain look as if reminiscing his old days.

Looking at it felt weird to him that at 57, all that remained of his once handsome and charming face was wrinkled skin, endless frustration within his eyes and a peculiar smile on his face.

"44 years, and I am here." He sighed.

"The seat of the President of Earth Association Council is finally mine and I am the one above all."

The greatest achievement of his life. His goal for life since the age of 13, but his voice didn't seem a cheerful one. It contained regret, a tinge of anger and frustration.

"But today, it ends here."

He closed his eyes and when he reopened them, only light of cheerfulness could be seen. He flicked at the mirror and while making a crooked smile as he walked out of the room.

Walking down the dark hallway he reached a huge door. As he reached nearer to the door creaked, splitting from the middle.

Dazzling light shone through the slit, brightening up the hallway. The doors slid, clearing the path in less than a second. The man continued at his pace but it seemed as if it took forever, for the man's right shoe to pass-through.

His eyes remained unfazed with the sudden increase in brightness, while he looked onto the huge crowd in front of him. As his figure ventured into the brightness and walked on the stage, a heavy voice spoke up.

"Now, the President of Earth Association Council shall make his speech and present his plans for humanity."

The man stopped in the middle of the stage, which was pure white, with red curtains on both sides. He faced the crowd of thousands looking at him with anticipation. His smile grew firmer as he coughed softly. His seemingly soft cough rang throughout the hall silencing the crowd. They focused all the cameras on him and the huge screen above the stage displayed his figure.

The cheerful voice of the man followed the silence.

"My hello, to the citizens of Earth. As you already know the previous President left us four years ago ensuing chaos onto the political world. Hundreds of factions formed to gain this seat, while none concerned about humanity but their benefits. I couldn't take the chaos anymore and stood up for the good of humanity. Although a commoner by birth, with no father to use the name of, and nobody to look after besides my beloved citizens; I take this seat for the future humanity by the will of the council."

"From my birth till now, I've taken no oaths in my life. But today I take an oath that; from this moment I will live for the sake of humanity until this body breathes its last breath."

He said this as he made a satisfied expression and touched the pendant around his neck with his fingers.

The crowd went howling and those gentlemanly dressed ministers on the front seats clapped and laughed as he finished his words.

The President took a heavy breath as he looked at this. Then he closed his eyes as if waiting for something and his smile grew brighter.

A moment later shouts rang out throughout the hall.

"President!"

"Oh my god!"

A headless body fell on the ground, while a head with a smiling face rolled on the white surface of the stage, dying it with a deep red. The pendant that was left in his palms glowed with a dull red light which no one could see.

In a world, with nothing but darkness, a blue light shone out of the space itself giving rise to a blue humanoid figure. Its facial features were similar to the President but it seemed like a 13-year-old version of himself. The contrasting difference was that this face was expressionless. It looked into the dark space which suddenly started to form a red screen.

The screen had the title 'Mission Completed', and below it was written-

Time Taken: 44 years

Difficulty: Divine Grade

Completion: 97.3%

Rating: SSS

Would you like to see your reward?

Yes/No

The figure gestured his finger towards 'Yes'.

The screen cleared out and displayed.

Rewards:

-Return Scroll (returns challenger to the challenger's original world).

-True Brilliance granted (the bearer cannot lie).

-Soul Limit increased to 3.

The system grants the challenger an opportunity to ask anything as an additional reward.

"This true brilliance." the figure murmured.

Then it spoke in a childish voice.

"Do the Heavenly Emperor and the Evil God know my name?"

He spoke casually as if the answer wouldn't even affect him.

The screen cleared out and displayed a set of words.

-Replying to the challenger:

No Challenger Kael El, they don't.

[Using return scroll.]

[Activating dimensional teleportation in 3 seconds.]

A huge black altar came into view on which, hundreds of children were standing. Suddenly, white lights brightened up the altar and humanoid figures of various colors flew inside the body of each child through the hole at the center of the altar.

A crowd of nobles was standing below the altar headed by a man wearing noble clothing and a red cape. Each of them looked at the altar with a look of desperation. All the nobles of the Southern region had been waiting here for two days after sending their children on the altar.

A few moments after the light flashed, the scene on the altar settled down and some of the children started to open their eyes. A child who looked exactly like the blue figure also opened his eyes. A smile formed on his face as if everything in the world was following his will.

"I am back." He murmured.

As he said this, more than half of the children fell lifeless on the altar. Blood poured out of their bodies through their eyes and mouth, which was sucked into the altar.
