"Jay, where are we going? You have been leading us from place to place... Where are we really going?" Nuggets asked since she was getting tired of all this walking, even though she was just being carried by Heda.
"We are going to a class academy to improve ourselves. Class promotions, new skills, new weapons, etc. All of that." Jay replied in a casual tone.
The three of them were still in the luxury area and were heading towards a grand looking structure. It was the castle in the luxury area. The castle where the princes and other nobles reside. The reason why Jay was leading them here was because there was a teleportation gate in this castle that connected it to the class academy hidden in the skies of Greengarden. The Golden Moon Class Academy.
So after walking around for some time, the three of them arrived at the castle. The moment they were about to set foot inside the castle, a guard in black-dyed steel armor blocked them using his sword.
"Only nobles and the prince is allowed here. Scram!"
Jay knew that this will happen obviously, so he took out 10 gold coins. The guard in black armor suddenly lost his chill and wanted to grab it off from Jay's hands. Just as the guard was about to do so, the blue-haired lady that Jay met earlier came out of the castle's doors.
This blue-haired lady saw Jay's group and the guard. She was a bit surprised to see Jay again so she approached them.
"Sir Rayne, let them in. They are friends of mine."
The guard, or Sir Rayne, returned to his normal and stoic attitude the moment he heard the lady. He then sheathed his sword and knelt down.
"As my lady commands."
Taking advantage of whatever was going on, Jay and co. followed the lady inside the castle.
--- Golden Fortress, Greengarden Luxury Area ---
This castle was known as the Golden Fortress due to the golden banners of Wildergreene placed around the castle. In the night, the castle also has a yellowish glow due to the enchantments placed on the castle. The Golden Fortress had 3 floors. The first floor was the guest area, or the lobby. It is where those who were allowed entry to the castle will do most of the stuff they want, like using teleportation gates or when attending banquets. The second floor was where the throne room was located. As for the third floor, it was the sleeping quarters of the princes and the nobles.
The moment Jay and co. entered the castle, the blue-haired lady signaled Jay and co. to follow her for a while. Of course, since she helped them enter the castle, Jay did not mind so they just followed her.
"So, since I did you a favor, I suppose you should also do me a favor in return." The blue-haired lady said as she led Jay and co. to the castle's lobby.
"Of course, my lady. By the way, my name is Jay. This here is my sister, Heda, and this is our family pet, Nuggets." Jay introduced everyone to the lady while they walked since it was pretty awkward just walking beside a lady without even talking.
The blue-haired lady smiled and also introduced herself. "I see. As for me, everyone knows me as the princess Auriel. Come on. Let's continue talking after we enter the lobby."
So after those small pleasantries and introductions, they just walked for a while and then the moment they arrived at the castle's lobby, the princess led them to a small room.
Inside the room looked like some kind of conference area. A long table with chairs surrounding it was the only things inside. The room was also lit up by torches on the walls and candelabras on the long table.
The princess asked Jay and co. to sit down and she also sat beside them. She then started speaking of whatever favor she wants to ask of Jay.
"Jay, I suppose you know there will be a tournament in the city 3 days later. Can you enter and win the tournament? Please?"
She then bowed her head as she faced Jay. The moment she did this, Jay was a bit surprised and shocked while he thought, "Another change in history I guess..."
The reason why Jay thought as such was because he remembered that one of the tournaments held in Greengarden. It was a tournament that decides the future king, and the future husband of the princess. This tournament was actually a hidden quest that can only be triggered if the player has a favorable relationship with the princess.
"3 days huh? I hope I can get a fighting class by then. Just using my Sage or Beast Tamer class won't be enough..."
After thinking for a few seconds, Jay thought of a way to take advantage of the situation and then he spoke up.
"Princess, I am not confident of my chances in winning right now..."
When the princess heard this, she had a frown on her face since she really wanted Jay to win. She did not want all those other elderly knights or arrogant brats winning the tournament. She just wanted someone like Jay. As for why, she just felt like something was special about him.
Just as she was about to stand up and apologize for this strange favor of hers, Jay continued to speak.
"Princess, I suppose you know of the Golden Moon Class Academy right? If I can enter the place, I think I have a chance in winning the tournament. The problem is... I lack funds right now."
The moment Princess Auriel heard Jay, she suddenly returned to her happy and joyful mood and grabbed Jay's hands while she looked at Jay.
"Really? Thank you. Thank you very much. Here, you can have these."
She then took out a small wooden box from whatever spacial storage she had and gave it to Jay.
The moment Jay received the box, he immediately checked how much gold coins was inside of it.
The result was shocking...
