Synopsis

“How can I defend those who cast me away when I, myself, are suffering?” a ragged and mentally shattered Tenma Penmark would whisper to herself daily as if on a schedule, as she has been forced defenseless into a world of power and hatefulness. Our poor heroine longs for a way out, a ray of sunshine to crash through her darkness and carry her out like the princess she is. Or is she? “I’ve found it.” She thought excitedly to herself once formally invited to join those who chose to fight against their human-beaten system run by a crooked King. A resistance group, run by a shiny girl whom they call “Toya” and followed around by her shadow named Hinata. As she falls into her place in this power-battling group of people, unease suddenly settles in like a bag of bricks, she begins to feel as if there is something wrong here...no, something more.

Chapter 1Prologue

A petite female wizard speed down the narrow, dark and seemingly never-ending hallway laid out in front of her as if her goal was slipping through her fingers as we speak. After about an eternity and a half, she finally reached the door she'd been searching for and ripped it open, void of hesitation.

"L-lady General Chrystal!" the woman shouted, slamming the side of her hand to her forehead in a respectful salute.

The pregnant General whipped around fast as gravity would allow, all while bearing the weight of the small child inside her. The general's infamous whip responded along with her, only to be lowered at the sight of her guest.

"Yes, Specialist Kora, what's going on?" It was almost as if the small woman could reach out and grasp the exhaustion stemming from her commander's voice.

"I have come to take you to your ceremonial birthing area!" Kora shouted, this time dropping into a deep bow.

No words this time, only a simple sigh escaped the pregnant woman as she allowed her weapon to disappear.

The pair struggled down the hallways, making their way to the stairwell that lead to the basement of this ancient castle. As if on cue, the general began to leak. Kora took immediate notice and began to fill with deafening panic. She was so filled with panic, that if emotional capabilities could explode, hers would be all over the stone walls right now.

Then, by the grace of God, an angel descended from the heavens above and lovingly graced the struggling women with its presence.

"General Timothy! S-she-her water broke!" all professionalism eluded Kora as her precious general entered labor.

The woman's husband lifted her up without a second thought and whipped out his wand, his icy magic carried the three to their destination much faster than Kora's two feet ever could.

Deep down, within the depths of this God-given earth, a sparkling purple eye slowly lit up, slicing through the darkness around the creature. A second eye flew open as this beast, damned to eternal slumber, was awakened for the first time in 100 long, dark years. An event of Jurassic proportions was taking place right at this very moment and this monster had awoken just in time to witness it in all its hell-bound glory.

"It has begun."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Chrystal screamed, this unborn child ripping through her insides in a vicious attempt to escape the warm, 9-month long prison.
She was in labor.
As she had been for the past 8 hours, the child just didn't seem to know how to leave, however, this pain was more than she expected. It was horrendous, vile, putrid, soul-crushingly horrible. Chrystal could almost feel every nerve and fiber in her body being torn apart one-by-one, however, whenever she glanced down, her body was still very much intact.
A shivering soon-to-be father was gripping her hand, pleading with his eyes for this to be over soon. The 8 hours had felt like 8 years and her screams were ringing through his ears like church bells.
And then it stopped.
Just like that.
Chrystal went silent so abruptly, her poor husband thought God had taken her. Nevertheless, that was far from the case. A tiny baby had taken refuge in a nearby nurse's arms who was attempting to clean the bloody child, his bride breathing heavily next to him, however, exhaustion was immediately overtaken with joy, as she was beside herself with happiness.
The woman's joy was short-lived as a wave of pitch-black dread washed over everyone in the room. The nurse came close to dropping the newborn, complaining of the baby burning her. The father retched. The mother resumed her infamous screaming. The two priests fell to their knees in agony, clutching their throbbing skulls. This suffocating darkness began swimming throughout the room like a serpent, seeming to poison everything it came in contact with before eventually receding back into-
Letters to Romeo.
[Mature Content. No Rape] 'All it took was breaking one rule that she was not supposed to' He was the bad boy with tattoos. She was the good girl with glasses, and she was his. — When Julianne Winters decides to move to the dormitory of the reputed University, she has everything planned so that she can complete her graduation and leave the place. But her plan is quick to catch fire from the moment the eyes of Roman Moltenore from senior year lands on her. And his appearance screams nothing but TROUBLE. "What rules?" Julianne asked with a frown as she read through the page. She was sure she hadn't seen any rules of the campus mentioned on their website. # 4. No using cell phones. # 12. Students should not roam outside the campus after eleven in the night. The further she read, the more bizarre it turned out to be. Her friend turned the page and then pointed at the last rule # 29. Listen to Roman Moltenore. "This is made up. Look, the last one is even written in pencil." Julianne couldn't believe that her friend from the next dorm thought she would fall for it. "And no phone?" "It is important you abide by all the rules. Especially number twenty nine," said the girl in a serious tone. "Remember not to get involved with Roman. If you happened to see him, run in the other direction. There is a reason why it is written down here." With the rules of the campus, she resorts to sending handwritten letters to her uncle. But who knew it would end up in someone else’s hand!
