62 "I'm Your Opponent."

"Go far away from this place for now while I discipline these idiots." Savyrran said to Lorvan and Yuil.

Without waiting to be told twice, the two sisters ran as fast as they could.

A wicked glint flashed in Chanras' green eyes when he heard Savyrran's words. "Hey, Jorsen. Go get the cores from those girls… and... finish them off while you are at it."

A tough looking boy with a mohawk, wielding a massive projectile weapon, nodded. Then he sprung towards the direction of the two girls, a deep scowl on his face.

But before Jorsen could go any further, Savyrran was already in front of him in a flash, her shiny black eyes full of mirth. "Where do you think you are going?"

Jorsen blinked rapidly at how quickly the black eyed boy had suddenly appeared right in front of him. Before he could say anything, Savyrran sent a powerful leg kick right into Jorsen's stomach, thus sending him flying into a tree. The crash was so powerful that Jorsen's impact to the tree broke through his shield of yellow essence surrounding him thus sending a massive shock wave throughout the forest.

"Maybe I haven't made myself clear. But I am your opponent." She said. "Now come at me, all of you." Savyrran held her black sword in her right hand and then pointed it towards the four boys. "At the same time."

Chanras stared intently at Savyrran with a mixture of anger and shock. On one hand, he just could not stand how arrogant the boy was and on the other hand, he could not believe that the boy had used a mere kick to break through Jorsen's essence. He had not even revealed his essence yet. What kind of monstrous strength was that?

No matter. Whatever it was, there were four of them, and he was a green user. Even if that boy was a green just like him, they sorely outnumbered him. Chanras gestured to the other two boys left standing to attack Savyrran at the same time. There was something odd about this boy and he wanted to uncover it for himself. For now, he would just observe from behind the scene.

Just like that, six arrows came flying towards Savyrran at incredible speed. However, she, with an even greater speed, outmaneuvered the arrows with such graceful skill and agility that it was almost like she was dancing. But it seemed the boys were just getting started.

The other boy, who wielded a large silver sword with golden markings around it lunged towards her, sword in both hands. He thrust the sword with all his might, it was like the air itself had been split into two. Just before the great sword could slice Savyrran into two, she stopped it with her own thin black sword.

The boy with the sword soul armos opened his mouth slightly when he saw how easily his mighty sword had been halted by such a thin frail sword, and with a single hand nonetheless. "What are you?" The boy whispered.

Savyrran grinned. With Badisk still pressing hard against the boy's sword soul armos, Savyrran finally sent him flying backwards with a firm push until he heavily crashed to the ground, face-first. Even with his face bleeding, he tried to stand back up.

"Don't underestimate me, sword boy. I've been fighting people far stronger than you since I was five." Savyrran chuckled, discretely storing the space ring she had just stolen from the boy in her own space ring..

Again, an endless onslaught of arrows flew towards her making Savyrran to nimbly jump from tree to tree in order to dodge every single one of them. She had almost forgotten about the other boy wielding the bow and arrow soul armos.

He was the tallest and oldest among them, and he wielded a beautiful golden bow. Unlike an ordinary bow however, his soul armos generated the arrows using his own essence, and he could fire six arrows simultaneously. Moreover, since the arrows were made from his essence, it meant that he could fire as many arrows as he wanted as long as his soul energy could handle it.

As Savyrran watched how quickly the boy fired the arrows like a one man army of archers, she could not help but marvel at how extremely skillful he was. Savyrran knew that the boy must have trained very hard to attain such a skill. Even his strong muscular arms were a testament to that fact.

Awakening a soul armos did not automatically mean that a person knew how to use it. For people with weapon-type soul armos, they had to constantly train their bodies in addition to learning to use their weapons. This was why unlike the other schools, most of the people who applied to Combat School were above fifteen years. Since one awakened at fifteen, they had to train for at least a year before coming to apply to the Combat School. That way, they were already conversant with combat.

For wielders of weapon-type soul armos, having a very strong body was extremely important. This was because many powerful weapon-type soul armos were exceedingly heavy. With a weak body, the user may not even be able to lift it let alone use it, no matter how powerful their essence was. Thus, it was imperative that they always trained their bodies to make it easier for them.

As much as Savyrran was awed by the boy's skill with the bow, she was not bothered at all. After all, even without a soul armos, she had been training too. And she had been doing that far longer than most people. After a while of getting bored with dodging the arrows, she finally decided to put an end to it. For a moment, she wondered why Chanras and his monkey were just standing there watching her like that. It was like the boy had been observing her every move the entire time.

In one single leap, Savyrran charged towards the boy with the bow and arrow, doing well to avoid being hit by the arrows. By the time she appeared right in front of him, the boy did not have any time to shoot any arrows anymore. Savyrran rubbed her space ring and suddenly, Badisk disappeared from her hand. Then with that empty hand, she sent a heavy punch into the boy's chest. The punch was strong enough to send him back a few feet, however, he remained standing his ground with unwavering resolve. If not for the blood he coughed out of his mouth, it would have been impossible to detect that he was in pain given how calm he looked.

"I'll hold on to this, arrow boy." Savyrran said playing with a silver ring between her fingers. This was the third space ring she had looted from the boys. One more to go. If she was lucky, she would not have to look for any soul beasts. After all, she was not even finding any.

The brow of the arrow boy creased when he saw that his space ring had just been stolen. His once calm facade began to break. When the boy said he wanted their cores, he really was not joking. This monster was really targeting their cores all along.. Unfortunately, his bow had been flung out of his hand due to the powerful punch.

Before the boy got the chance to summon his bow back to himself, Savyrran acted quickly.

With a mischievous smirk on her face, she raised her right leg in the air at an almost one eighty degrees. Then just like that, her leg came crashing down on the golden bow on the ground. An explosive sound reverberated throughout the forest, and with that, the bow soul armos dissolved into tiny specks of yellow.

At that same instant, a loud agonizing scream tore through the humid midday air. It was coming from the owner of the bow. The boy dropped to the ground and then began to convulse violently. Since the soul armos was an extension of one's soul, harming it was equivalent to harming a person's soul.

"Still want more?" Savyrran asked the sword wielder when she saw how he was painfully trying to get back on his feet. "All I need are your cores and I already have them. Don't try to fight back, else you will die for nothing. "

"You are strong." Chanras finally said after witnessing everything in silence. He had wanted to see for himself why the boy thought he could take all four of them at the same time. It seemed he had some tricks up his sleeves. But from what Chanras had deduced, all the boy had was brute strength, albeit extraordinary. Still, it was nothing special.

"But don't get too cocky. Shayyan is a rare class soul armos and he will tear you into pieces." Chanras added.

As though to prove how menacing it really was, like its master had suggested, the gigantic ape roared like a clap of thunder. Then with its six arms, it began to beat its hairy chest like a drum.

Savyrran smiled. "Perfect. I was getting very bored fighting all your weak friends. Hopefully your little monkey is as strong as it really looks. How about this, both of you come at me at the same time."

"You…" Chanras felt anger coursing through his veins at the taunting words of his opponent. He will teach this trash a lesson. "Shayyan, end that bastard."

Savyrran massaged her knuckles then assumed a fist fighting stance. Her black eyes were fixated on the large hairy monkey, three times her height, running towards her. With its towering size, as it run, it felt like the earth was trembling slightly. Every tree that got in its way was swatted out of the way like an annoying fly.

A deep feeling of euphoria crept through Savyrran. Finally in a very long time, she was about to have a real fight, perhaps with someone who was strong enough to match up to her. This had better been glorious.

"Here monkey monkey…"
