8 Side story# 1 Uchiha Itachi
Life is born and life dies...A clan grows...A village is born...and bonds are made...we formed a bond that's why that happened...we had a bond that's why he died to protect me...I didn't understand it back then...what real pain was. Itachi was crying while holding Sasuke, he remembers it because of his Sharingan, he remembers every single bit of that day...
His best friend Mirei Namikaze left to become stronger 5 years ago...For 5 years he protected Naruto from the shadows while feeling the pain of losing the bonds

Nearly a year since graduating, Itachi had mastered ninjutsu to the extent his missions went too easy, though Yuki Minazuki (His Sensei) didn't recommend him for the Chunin Exams. After turning eight, as Team 2's genin had distinguished themselves the most during the year, they were tasked with guarding the Fire Daimyo during his annual trip to Konoha. During the mission, the convoy was attacked by a masked individual, who killed their Sensei and Tenma Izumo (his team-mate) because he was protecting Itachi, resulting in Itachi awakening his Sharingan, at the same day he lost his other teammate who lost her will to become a shinobi because of this massacre, He mastered Sharingan at the same age. At age 10, Konoha officials allowed Itachi to compete in the Chūnin Exams by himself, which he passed and became a chūnin.
At Age 11 he and Izumi Uchiha visited the tea shop where she worked at and she waited on them. While she playfully teased Itachi about his girlfriend, she admitted she quit her shinobi job because not only was Tenma killed, but because Itachi was so much more skilled than her and even younger than her, making it seem redundant to be a shinobi when Itachi was one.
Thinking It was his fault he went further into depression

Itachi left the village, Izumi couldn't recover from the blood loss and went into an indefinite coma, and Sasuke turned Into an Avenger
