6 sacrifice, rage, and spirits

"Arghhhh fuck!!" I yelled as I held my wrist looking at the skin on my hand that was ripped to shreds and the blood that was leaking on the ground

I tore off the bottom part of my shirt and began to bandage my hand as I looked at where ace was launched, the ground had a trail going from where I hit him to the wall where their was a medium sized crater in the ground.

"Well hopefully I won't get arrested for attemped murder" I said

My vision blurred for a second as I fell to my knees while tryimg to catch my breath

"Damit adrenaline come back please" I cursed as I tried to stand back up

As I was struggling the spectators recovered from their shock

"Holy shit that kid actually beat ace" a random goon said

"Yea but he's weak now lets get him" the guy who was sucking up to ace eariler said

"Shouldn't we go check on ace?" Another. Fodder said

"Hmph did you see that attack he's probably dead, and I never liked that bastard anyway. Once i bring this kid in I'll definitely be promoted" the ass kisser said with a grin

"Not if I get him first" the goon said as he ran towards me

All the cannon fodder ran towards me as I finally get on my feet, just as I was about to try to bend metal wires shot down from the sky and wraped all the goons up before they could get to me.

Looking up i saw an long air ship flying over head and metal benders sliding down the metal ropes, my sholders sagged in relief as I slumped back to the ground, as I was trying to rest a thud sounded infront of me.

"You ok kid?" The voice of woman eang in my ears

I looked up and my eyes widened at who was infront of me

"Why are you shocked to see me? Its not everyday their's a new airbender born into the world that isn't related to tenzin" lin motherfucken befong said to me with a slight smile

"Not to sound like a cunt or anything but where the fuck were you guys" I said with a sarcastic voice

"Well pipsqeak keeping the entire metal bending force here would have alerted your pursuers and while your existence is very important to some people I still have an entire city to protect, so I had some men stake the place out and once they came for you we would mobilize" lin said

"But we honestly didn't expect this kind of attack especially from the triple threats, we thought they would just try to kidnapp you in the darkness of night but this attack was clearly meant as warning to enemy gangs and other influential people, it's their way of showing that not only are they willing to do whatever it takes to get what they want, it also shows that noone is safe from their wrath" lin concluded

"Well I'm glad its over" i said as I shakily got up on my feet

"Indeed, well lets-" lin began but stopped as we heard a distinct sound coming from behind me

ZI ZI ZI ZI ZI

"Die you fucker!!!"

Rumble

A sound of lighting was heard as turned around and saw ace with eyes bloodshot,and his middle and index fingers pointed towards me as lighting cuts through the air, the skin on his stomach was torn to shreds some of his organs were visable and he had blood leaking constantly from his stomach and mouth.

Everything around me went in slow motion, lin was stomping the ground attempting to create a wall to protect me but she wasn't faster than lightning just as it was about to hit me someone jumped in the way and got hit instead.

My eyes widened as I watched sister lily's face get blown off as the bolt hit her square in the face.

Everything went back to normal speed but I couldn't hear any sound as i stood there looking at lily's lifeless body on the ground, as I stared at her my anger rose and as it did that same warm feeling in my stomach began to heat up spread all over my body and the warm feeling turned hot until it became unbearable and everything went black.

Lin snapped out of her shock first and wasted no time as she ran foward and wrapped ace up tight causing him to fall back down.

"Your lucky we need to interogate you for information or I'd have killed you myself!!" lin snarled as she detached the metal rope from her gauntlet

"Kid are you-" lin paused as her eyes widened staring at me.

A jade green aura with dark green streaks flowing through it was enveloping me as I stood up straight, my once golden eyes became completly jade green and the light green highlights in my hair glowed with the same color.

"RAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"

I yelled as my aura shot up into the sky like a column and the whole city had a jade green hue

Air temple island

Tenzin was tucking jinora into bed when she shot up and ran past him to the window.

"Honey whats wrong-" tenzin swallowed his words as he looked out the window and saw the pillar in the sky

"What in aang's name?" Tenzin said in shock

A random swamp

A very old woman with long silver hair and a hunched back wearing earth kingdom clothing stopped picking mud from in between her toes and looked towards republic city as if she could see it from where she was sitting.

"Ho ho the new avater has her work cut out for her" she said before going back to cleaning out her toes

Southern water tribe, white lotus base

A 10 year old girl was sleeping peacefully before she shot up and looked in the direction of republic city but she didn't know that.

"What was that feeling" she said while still looking in that direction

What the girl didn't notice was her eyes that were glowing white as she stared off into the wall.

Back at republic city omni pov

All of the people in republic city looked up at the column in the sky, some thought it was beautiful while others were afraid and panicking.

"How beautiful!!"

"What the hell is going on?"

"Its the spirts they've come for their revenge!!!"

"Do you think its the avatar?"

"MY CABBAGES!!!"

Back at the orphanage everyone was tense as they stared at jon with fear

"Kid calm down" lin said with a calm face and voice but her thoughts were in a frenzy

'I haven't felt this kind of pressure since that time i saw aang go in the avatar state, thus is simillar but also different' lin thought

Suddenly jon raised his hand with his thumb and middle finger touching.

SNAP

with a snap of his fingers every triad member except ace swelled up with air and then exploded, blood and guts rained from the sky as the kids and some adults began to scream and vomit.

Jon then started walking towards lin and ace. Some of the more seasoned officers who retained their calm launched metal ropes at jon attempting to capture him but as the wires got close they were sliced to ribbons and fell to the ground.

Lin realising what was happening ordered her men to stand down as she backed away from ace

"Chief?" A metalbender asked with confusion

"Stand down! Hopefully what ever this is will finish once he finishes him off" lin said while looking around at the carrnage

"And if he doesn't?" The same man asked

"Then we'll have to do what we can to keep him from running amok in the city, but if I'm being honest, I doubt we can stop him" lin said with a grimace.

Jon grabbed ace by the neck and lifted his body up until their eyes were equal to one another. Ace had passed out after being manhandled by lin but was woken up by the lack of oxygen.

When he opened his eyes he was face to face with jon's green eyes and he pannicked

"W-what the hell are you" ace asked while shaking with fear

Jon remained silent as a snarl appered on his lips, he than began to levitate in the air with ace still in his grasp.

"W-wait please I was under orders to bring you to my boss, I can tell you where he is if you spare me" ace screamed as he started wiggling in jon's grasp

"LAMENT" jon said in a distorted voice

The jade green aura surrounding jon began to enter ace's body and it slowly began to disintegrate

"AUGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" ace screamed

Location unknown jon pov

"Wahhhhh!" I screamed as I opened my eyes and looked all around me surveying the area, their was nothing but clouds all around me, even the ground was made of clouds, and there a soft breeze that felt very conforting. I almost got lost in the feeling before I snapped back to reality

"Helloooo? Is anyone here?" I asked while walking in a random direction

As I was walking suddenly the winds began to pick up in speed as the cloud ground began to divide and what looked like a forest began to rise up.

"Ok what the hell?" I asked confused until the forest rose even more and I began to see what looked like a large turtle with a lion's head appear

"Yea that makes more sense" I said as I walked towards the giant being

"Hello there child" the lion turtle said

"Uh hi, do you know why I'm here" I asked the friendly turtle

"Oh well thats simple, see your soul has fused with a greater wind spirit and after you died in your previous world instead of your soul going through normal reincarnation the essence of the sprit allowed you to not only keep your memories but also inhabit a body that was the most compatible with your newly impowered soul" the lion turtle explained with indifference.

"Huh, I see so what your saying is my spirit did in fact hijack this body from its previous owner?" I asked him

"That is correct, do you feel bad about what happend?" The lion turtle asked curiously

"Barely if I'm being honest" I said with a shrug

"Good, you don't know how many talented individuals squander their potential because of some useless guilt, even when I explain that this type of thing happens all the time they still wallow in guilt, and then when they finally get over its too late and they never end up as strong as they could've been" the lion turtle rants

"Wow thats not at all how I expected a spirit like you to react" I said stupified

"Ahem I apologize for the outburst but I hate seeing squandered potential" the turtle said

"Anyway were short on time so let let me give you some advice, your current self is too weak to properly use the power your soul contains. So continue to meditate and train diligently and maybe after a decade or two you might even be strong enough to match the Avatar" the turtle said

"Wait so I can learn all of the elements?" I asked excitedly but my hopes were dashed

"Haha no, that is a privilege for those who fuse with divine level sprits, and while the sprit you fused with has great potential to become one that won't be for centuries and you'll be long dead by then" the lion turtle said while laughing

I slumped which caused the turtle to laugh even louder before it calmed down and continued

"However you'll definitely be the strongest airbender to ever live without a doubt especially when you enter your spirit mode" the turtle said with certainty

"Spirit mode?" I asked confused

"Oh right you dont know what's going on in the physical world at this moment do you" the turtle asked amused

"Not really but I can guess" I said with a grimace "I just hope i don't go around hurting innocent people" I said

"Dont worry when a person unconsciously enters spirit mode it automatically goes after the last person or people you were fighting at the time, and as long as no one else attacks you once it completes its mission it will deactivate" the turtle finished

Just as soon ha he was finished speaking my body began to fade and I could feel a tugging sensation at the back of my mind

"Well times up young one, just remember that this mode is very similar to the avatar state so you need to train your spirtual side if you ever want to control this form. Good luck and lets talk again in the future. The trutle said as I fully left the spirit world.

Back to the orphanage omni pov

"Aughhhhh..." Ace's screams fade away as his body completly disintegrates.

"Men brace yourselves" lin says as they all get into combat stances

Jon's body begins to float down to the ground, as it does the green aura around him fades away and he gently falls to the ground seemingly unconscious

"Sigh looks like its over" lin says in relief

"Alright men no time to dally call the cleanup teams here asap, and I want this whole block closed off to the public immediately" lin began shouting orders as her men began moving

Lin walked over to jon and picked him up in her arms

"Damn brat Not only are you and airbender you also have your own avatar state...

Sigh I can already feel the future headache's you'll give me" lin said carrying jon towards a medical car
