18 I don't care! I just want to fight!

"Don't worry! I don't abandon my people! Bring him here!"

Neo had different plans for a battle maniac like Sam.

A few moments later, Sam came to the room.

"You told me that you will do anything, to make me teach you! I give you chance to prove it now."

He explained the soul contract to the Sam and gave him a moment to think. It was surprising that the youth didn't want to reconsider it and immediately agreed. It confused the Neo as this decision wasn't something to take lightly.

"Why didn't you think more about it?" Neo couldn't keep his curiosity and asked.

"I don't care about these things. I just want to fight and you will teach me! HAHAHA"

His excitement taken over, conversation with him will be hard from now on.

"I like your simple mind. Your father will explain to you, all the details. Go!"

They prepared the necessary things. Firstly they bloodied face of Neo and clothes of Aron, then Neo put them with state of fake death. They will be brought out of the villa by Reis's trusted subordinates.

They were lying inside coffins middle of training hall, where all people were gathered by Reis.

"We are gathered today to honor the two people. The kindest people that I knew! My life was saved by them, and they didn't want much from me. Their purpose was the greater good in the city! They wanted me to sell medicine and this medicine made people greedy. Aron's assistant Neo was stabbed by bandits during that night! We tried to save him with all our might but it was impossible. Aron treated him as his own son and couldn't bear his death! Another tragedy happened he took his own life from guilt and sorrow."

People were shocked by the turn of events. Most of them will leave Villa in next days due, Reis's loss of power. They decided to do everything to please, Reis's uncle.

"Aron and I had a plan to create a medical center in an isolated mansion that was rumored to be haunted. His death is a symbol of great misfortune for our family and this city. I decided to move into that mansion and honor his death."

Reis finished his speech. Time to proceed with the plans. The coffins were taken by guard family. They will take them to the mansion. During few next days, all rats will escape the sinking boat and change masters.

In the middle of the mansion, two wooden coffins were laying on the floor. Boom! Boom! BOOM!

The door of one coffin opened. It was Neo, that woke up from his fake death.

"I hate coffins... Good that the coffin wasn't sealed or I would need to wait for Aron to wake up."

Neo knocked into the second coffin.

"Wake up, how long are you going sleep there?"

Aron opened the lid of the coffin and said.

"Ohh, come on. You don't even let me stay dead properly." He joked to lighten the mood.

"We have few days before Reis come here. I need to stabilize my soul, so I will meditate. My body needs few days to heal, so I cannot do anything else anyway."

They found one cleaner room and Neo sat on the ground cross-legged and started meditating. It was a great opportunity to advance into the next level of soul cultivation.

Time passed and his soul stabilized, and he advanced into the 4th level and not long after into 5th level. Completing the fusion with Darius's soul was an important step. Darius soul was silently hindering his progress and after fusion, his soul got another upgrade.

(I need to find a method to purify the energy from soul devour. It will be key if I want to reach higher stages.)

Knock! Knock!

The Reis and his people came to the mansion. Everything was done as planned. His crew got natural selection. It was very good because most of the people that came to the mansion were trustworthy.

(I need to teach Reis and Aron to make soul contract. It will be good if I create some kind of hierarchy.)

The most of the people started to clean up the mansion. It needed a lot of repairs and remodeling. After servants left and only four of them remained in the room, Neo started a conversation.

"So let's start discussing our future plans. Did you sell the villa?"

"Yeah. It sold for good money, although I invested more into it. It's still good to recover some money." Reis answered and explained their financial state.

"Good. We can do most of the renovations in this mansion by ourselves. The servants quarter need to be entirely rebuilt. We will build another building on another side of the mansion."

"It will limit our budget to very low level! We should carefully consider where we put our money!"

Reis was worried about money. It was all, that left from his fortune.

"It's a crucial project. The building will serve as an orphanage. It's an ideal cover to train new subordinates and continue to play our game with your family. Your image will look like you really wanted to do something good for the world after our "deaths"."

Neo drew a simple project for the mansion buildings.

"Sam, I will teach you later. You will be responsible for training in the orphanage."

Sam became excited when Neo said keywords "training".

"We will come back later. Let's go back to the business. You said that they left you some shops."

"It's not worth mentioning. Most of these shops target ordinary people. It won't be too profitable."

The family left him some business to make it look like he was retiring. He got worst of shops, that gave the smallest profit.

"You underestimate the power of ordinary people. Let me ask you simple question. How many ordinary citizens are in the city? " This was a logical question. The wealthy made 1 % of the population and rest were ordinary people that lived in poverty. People underestimated it because they were poor and it didn't bring fast profit. It was the difference in quantity. The thousands of copper coins are still a good profit.

"You are right! The problem is we don't have the right product to sell to masses..." Reis made a disappointed expression.

"Don't worry about such details. I will take care of everything!" He said with confidence.

(I remember now. Hahaha.)

"Did you bring 'guests' to the mansion?"

By 'guests' Neo meant the intruders that he personally crippled during that night.

"Only two survived and they are in another room. They are not cooperative, all they want is final relief from suffering!"

"Interesting. Two is more than enough. I will visit them and show my hospitality."

Neo went to the room where assailants where kept. It wasn't even protected because they didn't have any limbs so escape was impossible. When he entered, they immediately became pale. The worst nightmare came to reality.

"WE WILL TALK! JUST TAKE DEMON AWAY!"

"Hahaha. Am I that scary?" His expression became intrigued. Even if he was responsible for their states, his appearance was still of a little boy.
