Chapter 1

My Name is Liam Balanor, my mother is Eritathra Balenor, she is a caring mother, she always took care of me until now, she raise me until i am 13 years old, 13 is my current age, she taught me a lot of things, how to walk, use a spoon, eat, speak, she even taught me how to play a violin, she said "Music is another of how to let out your emotions, including stress, other than punching something", she's really patient on teaching me, i kept messing it up and finally got the hang of it thanks to her, now every time i always play the violin, She's the one that cooks my food, Man... she's the best chef ever, the food never tastes bad, and sometimes she taught me how to cook, i can cook for myself now, but I can't beat her cooking, when i was young..., she always pampered me, and sing lullabies until I fell asleep, she took me to the market and introduced me to trading, purchasing, negotiations lot of things actually, she is irreplaceable in my heart, well even if she is shorter than me, she is still my mother,

Uncle Throgg however was a loud, rude and would always hit me if i do something bad, he's my mother's brother, One time I hit him by the using a stick to wake him up, since he is hard to wake up after all night of drinking ,yet he grabbed me and smacked me down to the grown, head first, he laughed.... really loud, and i would always cry and it always ends with mom scolding us both, even though he was a bastard, he would always protect me from other kids, since i'm taller and my appearance was different from them, he would come and smack the other kids using a wooden rod, well it was a fun situation that I hope would last forever.

But it all changed when the humans attacked our village, a war broke out near the village with the Alliance against the Humans.

Elves, Dwarves, Dragoids, Demons.....

The Alliance Army was there to intercept the Humans in trying to set up a fortress for further invasion, I saw the Alliance Army when I was picking up herbs, So I approached the Alliance Army and met a resting soldier there

"Excuse me, sir but what is going on here?"

The soldier thought that i was a human and began to draw his sword, it's an Elven sword, it's a normal sword with the tip slightly bent to one side and engraved with weird runes, So i quickly showed my pointy ears to him and then he put his sword to it's sheath and said "Oh an Elf, but on this Dwarven lands?, well no matter, we are here to subjugate the Humans that are trying to invade the Dwarfs, this location is quite a key point to us, as you can easily invade the Elven country and Dwarven capital easily, and if the Dwarven Lands fell, Sirens and Demons land would be threatened," i was looking at the soldier confused as he was wearing a helmet and only shows his face and his beautiful golden hair, then i asked "What are you Mister?, and what is it that you were talking about?, I don't understand any of it", while showing my innocent smile, he then took off his helmet and said

"It's good that you don't understand what i was saying, Kids shouldn't know any war and shouldn't get involved with it, well if only The Shura Tribe is still here we don't have to be here...., they are war gods on the battlefield"

I was starting to look confused as what is this "Shura", why war gods?.... and i felt a headache when i heard the name "Shura" I don't know what it is, but it felt familiar so i asked "Mr. can you tell me more about this "Shura" thing?", The Soldier then sat down and began explaining everything he knows about Shuras,"Well Shuras are a minority race that lives around here, not far from the Alezor woods, they are a strong race, sometimes the Alliance leaders requested their help against the humans, but from what i heard they are extinct because of what happened a few years back, well I don't know the details but i guess no one knows...., well i better get going now, we're continuing our march, don't stay near the war zone... ok kid?, stay safe don't want a fellow elf to die.." I was completely out of words of what he just said, so as i see Mr. Soldier leaving while waving at me, i quickly went to pick up the remaining herbs and be on my way home

On my way home, on the far distance i can see that a war has begun!

I can see explosions and fires being shot out to the sky, sounds of people dying, soldiers.. dying, i kept thinking of what would happen to Mr. Soldier, i then sprinted to the war zone and a good thing i found a hiding spot near there, The War zone was literally like a barren waste, no living things there, only dead soldier and dead beasts...., i was hiding on a tree not far from the War zone, I can still smell the stench of a corpse, I want to throw up and regretted my decision of coming here, but as soon as I see the humans are nearby I swallowed back my vomit, without realizing i was crying..., as i saw this scene then without thinking further i sprint back to my home in hoping to get out of this nightmare, i still hold my vomit back and my tears, at the time i only think about mom and mom only, god how much i want to see her right now and hug her, I thought "Everything is going to be okay, when i reach home, everything is going to be okay..... EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE OKAY GODDAMMIT!" I learn cussing words from Throgg, it's really useful... decreases my stress, wait i'm not suppose to thinking about that right now, mom i just hope your okay,

I almost made it to the village, yet an explosion occurred in the direction of the village, i panicked and kept cussing in my mind, I sprint so fast that i didn't realize i was leaving a trail of purple flame on the ground and it burned the ground, even nearby plants got burned, suddenly it starts raining but the flames are unaffected, well none of my concern right now i need to go and—

I saw something horrifying for the first time as i arrived.... i wish i didn't see it.
