1 Chapter One: In another world with the girl next door.

Scene one

We find a young man running through the woods, carrying a young woman on his back.

[Character Narrating] "Today wasn't what I was expecting..."

{Flash back to earlier that day}

A young man around the age of twenty walks up the stairs to an apartment complex.

[Character Narrating] "I was just your average joe. I had a full-time job, working for a paper distributing firm. I had a reliable car. And no time for anything else, especially a relationship."

The young man walks to the top of the staircase turning left to head to his apartment.

When he saw his next-door neighbor, a young woman, around eighteen years old, standing outside her apartment, holding two large grocery bags, and trying to use her left hand to unlock her apartment door.

(Arthur) "Here. Let me help you with that."

The young man said as he took the groceries from her hands.

(Loran) "Thanks, Art, you always seem to show up when I need help."

She said as she unlocked the door, and made her way into her apartment.

(Arthur) "I guess I've always had good timing when it comes to things like this."

Arthur said as he followed her into her apartment, and set the two bags on the kitchen counter.

(Loran) "So. Have you found yourself a girlfriend yet?"

Loran said as she made her way into her bedroom.

(Arthur) "(Nerves Laughter) No... my work keeps me pretty busy, I guess I just haven't had time to look for someone special."

He said as he made his way to the door to leave.

(Loran) "Well that's too bad, you'd make some girl incredibly happy."

Loran said as she came back out of her room, and to the door, grabbing the handle preparing to close the door.

(Arthur) "What about you, still with that guy Mat?"

(Loran) "Yeah, he was supposed to come over tonight, but his boss told him he had to work late."

(Arthur) "Well, I'd just be careful inviting him over, at least until you've gotten to know him a bit better."

(Loran) "Don't worry, my dad taught me to be careful. Plus it's not like I let just any guy into my apartment."

(Arthur) "Yeah, just your weirdo neighbor right."

(Loran) "(Giggles) Come on Art, I know you'd never try anything, you're too sweet."

(Arthur) "You got me... well, I better get going."

(Loran) "Yeah, I need to put the groceries away."

(Arthur) "Good Night."

Arthur said as he began walking away from her apartment.

(Loran) "Night."

Loran said as she shut the door behind him.

Scene Two

[Character Narrating] "The truth is, I've cared deeply for Loran since she first moved in next door, five months ago.

I couldn't explain it, but from the second I met her I knew that I wanted to marry her one day.

I know it sounds Insane, but that's how I feel. The problem is, she doesn't see me as anything other than a friend."

Arthur makes his way into his apartment and headed straight to bed.

As Arthur lay on his bed and stared at the ceiling, he whispered to himself.

(Arthur) "Why does it always hurt when I see her!"

Arthur continued to stare at the ceiling until he finally fell asleep...

Scene Three.

(Strange raspy voice) "Raa corkta, Fre liwsa tigro."

Arthur started to wake up, and he felt something tugging on his left leg.

(Second Strange raspy voice) "Hesga petraw jagfur nihdle, kwad jokzri frdal harx."

Arthur began to sit up and saw two strange goblin-like creatures searching him for anything valuable.

(Arthur) "What the!"

Arthur kicks the goblin on his left sending it ten feet in the air.

(Second Golin) "Dragfru Helm brogru Tigro!"

The Goblin on his right side said as it backed away slowly. Arthur got to his feet and watched as the other Goblin got up, and followed after it's companion.

(Arthur) "What's going on... Where am I?"

Arthur looks around, to see a heavily wooded area with a path not far from where he woke up.

The trees were very large, the bottom branches starting twenty feet above the ground.

(Arthur) "What happened? The last thing I remember is laying in my bed."

Soundly Arthur heard a Woman Scream!

(Arthur) "That sounded like..."

Arthur began running towards the origin of the scream.

Scene Four.

(Echoy Voice) "Todoe Argonaut Dairra, Carpe Va Valí!"

As Loran laid in her bed sleeping soundly, she heard a strange voice speaking in an ancient tung and her peaceful sleep was suddenly ended!

Loran wakes up suddenly and looked around to find her self in a strange thick wooded area.

(Loran) "What! where am I."

Loran got to her feet and looked around trying to find any sign of civilization.

(Loran) "How did I get here"?

Loran slowly made her way towards a clearing in the trees, passing several kinds of flowers and exotic plants which filled the clearings between the trees.

As she made her way through two large trees, she saw two small figures standing under the shadow of one of the large trees.

(Loran) "Umm... Hello. Can you help me, I'm not sure where I am."

The two figures turned and look at Loran, then started walking towards her. Loran begins to feel uneasy as if she felt a darkness filled them.

(Loran) "Ah never mind, I'll find my own way."

The two figure emerge from the shadow, revealing creatures that closely resembled trolls, however, they were only about two feet tall, with a verity of plant and fungal life growing from there bodies.

Loran quickly turned around and began running as the two creatures begin chasing after her.

Loran made her way back to where she woke up, then continued running through a small opening on to an old road.

Then as she began making her way left down the road, suddenly to Goblin-like creatures came out from the other side of the woods in front of her.

Scene Five.

Loran stops in her tracks not knowing what to do, the goblins started pursuing her.

She turned around and seen the two Trolls, emerging from the opening in the tree which she had made her way through.

Loran fell backward and Screamed as the four creatures surrounded her and began grabbing and pulling on her arms and feet. Loran felt helpless as she struggled to keep the creatures off of her.

And as she began losing hope that she would escape, suddenly a man jumped from the wooded edge and kicked one of the Trolls away from her.

The three remaining creatures suddenly froze before they let go of Loran, and took several steps back.

Loran looked up to see Arthur standing over her, a fierce look of anger in his eyes.

(First Goblin) "Tigro swedrig pardtchra! Greddak boruug Tigro!'

The goblin shouted as it pointed its thin bony finger at Arthur, then the two goblins ran off into the woods.

(Arthur) "Are you alright Loran?"

Arthur said as he reached his hand out to help her up. Loran cautiously reaches her hand up and took Arthur's hand.

He lifted her to her feet, and she suddenly felt a sense of comfort.

(Loran) "Arthur... Where are we?"

(Arthur) "I don't know, I just woke up here and those two goblin things where searching me. I kicked the one, and then they ran off and I heard you scream."

(Loran) "I... I'm scared... what are we going to..."

Suddenly a large creature resembling a wooded tree golem emerged from behind them! Without missing a beat, Arthur picked Loran up on his back and began running down the road!

[Character Narrating] "Honestly... if yesterday you had told me that I was going to wake up in the woods, save the woman I liked from fictional creatures, and carry her on my back as we ran from a tree monster... I would have said you were out of your mind."
