20 Fluffin Superweapons

***

Varkz, Northern Quadrant, Defensive wall 344

The walls defending Varkz were on a massive scale, having three separate wall segments. In between each segment of wall space was twenty meters of sand before the next segment. In a X pattern there were siege towers fifty meters from each other.  On top of these towers were a mixture of catapults, ballista and a strange weapon with crystals behind seven sheets of glass extruded at varying distances. The walls were covered in knights, each with their own unique colors. However the majority were grey, red, orange and green.

The green knights had bows two meters tall with arrows that could be easily mistaken as ballista bolts. They filled up most of the middle and rear wall with a few red knights mixed in. The first wall had a mixture of orange, grey and red knights all with their unique weapons. On top one of the siege towers was Ulkarion with his black and white knights, and Seraph on the shoulder of her fav purple knight, and four in tow. Seraph looks over the desert in front of herself, a large army marches through a far sandstorm about four kilometers away from the first wall.

'They look kinda cool coming out of a sandstorm like that. And dang that's a lot of cannons.' Seraph had enhanced vision thanks to Impheares highlighting certain areas in her retina. This allowed her to see the siege weapons many of the opposing forces were dragging through the sand.

"Seraph, do you think you can lend us your power against this force? Even though we made a pact I don't want to force you to do something distasteful." Ulkarion knew Seraph was training hard in fighting against the purple knights, but he worried for her still due to her nature.

'So you don't mind if they die?' Seraph wagged her tails at his earlier question. Taking the pact as a partnership or friendship rather than a master and servant approach.

"Considering they'll probably kill as many of us as possible, I don't mind the aftermath of their fate." Ulkarion gripped his greatsword made of obsidian glass with a titanium edge around it.

Seraph leaped down onto the sands with sheets of light guiding her path, the five purple knights following her movements. Several grey and orange knights descended down pathways to follow Seraph. Seraph along with her small army of two hundred sum knights stood their ground one hundred meters away from the gate. Every knight was ready to fight against the seemingly endless amount of soldiers that were marching in. Seraph asked Rinhana to have a knight fire one shot from the strange siege device on the tower. After waiting a few minutes the device fires into the sands in front of Seraph's little army. The crystal seemed to fire a wide beam of mana into the disks which focused the concentration of mana into a focal point. The end result was an ice ray freezing the area it hit.

Impheares starts creating light disks of different thicknesses and testing each one in sequence. To the forces of either side what could only be described as the stars falling from the sky as thousands of lights fall down between the opposing and defending forces scorching the sands to glass.

`Alright sis I got the right methods for our weapon, what do you wanna do?` Impheares is ecstatic to try out new methods with his light magics.

`By giving our guests a warm welcome of course.` Seraph's tails raise up while flares of purple light flash from the detail on her fur. Seven large light disks shrinking from her position towards the opposing forces appeared varied in distance. Seraph starts to pour her mana into the largest disk which swirls the light into a purple hue, it shoots a ray of purple light into the next disk, and the next until the final disk gets hit by the purple beam of mana and light. For a brief moment any sounds that were made were deafened by the sounds of war horn being blown throughout the lands. The sound originated from the last disk which fires a blinding purple stream of mana and light liquefying the middle section of the opposing forces. A large amount of arrows and magical missiles fly their way towards Seraph. The grey knights hold their shields to block the projectiles to allow Seraph to keep firing but she was already finished. The construct fades into obscurity as she hops on her fav knight's shoulder.

'Gonna nap for a sec.' Seraph snuggles against the purple knight's neck. She along with the other four purple knights fall back to protect their familiar. The rest of the forces get ready for the remaining forces to charge.

The opposing forces don't back down, charging head onto the battlefield. Soon both forces clash against each other. Their cannons would strike the walls or towers while the defenders returned fire. The ground forces began to fight in melee combat, each fighting for the right to survive. Ulkarion along with his personal knight fought hard on the battlefield, Seraph had struck a major blow to the enemy at the cost of her mana supply. So he had to pick up the slack and fight just as hard. Some of the soldiers were having a hard time fighting with some sand being slippery glass, others used this to their advantage.

But during the conflict of both armies there was a group decimating the knights. Six behemoths of soldiers standing at five meters tall were swinging around a scythe twice their size. Cutting through large swaths of knights as they get closer to the gate. Ulkarion takes on one of them attempting to hold his own against such raw power. He used gravitational magic to force the behemoth down to the ground, it didn't work as it grabs his face and smashes him into the glass below shattering it. Ulkarion bleeds from his face from the multiple cuts, still he struggles to fight on pulling his greatsword up to slice off its hand. He backs away holding his greatsword up in a shaky defensive stance. The behemoth brings up its scythe to strike the demon lord down, but it stops moving aside from violently twitching. After a few seconds of twitching Seraph pops out of the chest cavity of the behemoth spitting out a half eaten heart.

'Rawr! I feel much better now. Remind me not to use superweapons too often.' Seraph leaps out of the behemoth's chest cavity as it falls backwards. She then grooms the blood off her body enjoying the sweet taste of blood. She runs into the battlefield with her five purple knights and starts fighting paw to blade combat. Seraph would weave between strikes as she started releasing dark miasma around controlling areas on the battlefield. She enjoyed hopping on an enemies head while another tried to attack causing many friendly kills on the opposing forces side. Several light spears would fire off at their siege weapons as she handles many of their forces. The purple knights were keeping pace taking out the hostile forces in their way to protect Seraph.

Suddenly Seraph felt a pain in her heart, her eyes darted towards that pain in the distance. Rinhana was fighting hard with a few grey and orange knights, she used her freezing magic to stop the enemy from moving to help out the knights. She did well until she yelped out in pain as three arrows struck against her frosted ribcage, one puncturing her heart and forcing her to the ground.

Seraph uses a light pillar to shoot herself right where Rinhana was covering her area with light shields as she attempted to heal Rinhana multiple times, but after each failure the area around her grew darker and darker until her ninth attempt did the surrounding area feel of dread and despair. Many soldiers from both sides started to fear what was under that shield. The sound of shattering glass resonated throughout the air as Seraph walked through her magic. A purple fire surrounded her tails following up the detail on her fur up to her eyes. Her eyes were seething with rage while a few tears could be seen under both. Several soldiers attempted to kill her but exploded from the inside out. Seraph's form starts to change, her small stature grew into the size of a large tiger. Her tails extended like silk sashes floating into the air, each tail at ten meters in length. Her paws grew claws the size of daggers.

Everyone who saw this sight was scared for their lives, never has a familiar shown such seething rage in their history to actually change forms. Many of the opposing forces retreated to safety while the knights kept back from Seraph.

"Die" Seraph vanished in the air, along with many of their heads. In the hundreds the opposing forces were dying left and right without a reason in sight. Seraph rushes up to the middle of the enemy forces and stops her movement leaving a trail of death where she came. All weapons ran through her as she stood still. She spins around breaking the weapons and the bone structures of anyone hit within ten meters. Before the second wave could attempt to impale her she dashed back to the walls staring at the enemy. She stands up on her hind legs and weaves dark miasma between her paws. After a few seconds she launches the ball of miasma into the air above the enemy forces. Once the miasma hits the clouds, the clouds themselves fall down into the battlefield causing tens of thousands soldiers to decay along with their armor over the battlefield. The sands started to decay as this catastrophe occurred, making a large pit where sand tried to fill the hole that was being created. Soon enough the only sound that was on the battlefield was the trickling sound of sand filling a bottomless hole in the desert. Seraph stood there looking at her work for a bit before she finally lays down and sleeps. Her form reverted slowly to her adorable sugar water loving form. The fav purple knight picks her up into her arms and cradles her. She knew Seraph was hurting so she was going to bring her back to the palace. The other four purple knights carefully pick up Rinhana to bring her corpse to the palace to bury her. The rest of the knights didn't cheer for victory, for what they saw would be described as watching god's wrath unfold.

Ulkarion walks by Seraph's side as they enter the city, many citizens were cheering but stopped short when they saw the dead familiar and the uneasiness displayed from the demon lord. After a distance they make it back inside the palace walls, several knights begin digging a grave for the familiar per Ulkarions order and have Seraph in her bed while he sat down in the war room where several generals sat waiting for a response.

"My Lord, you're going to need to talk about what happened out there. The resulting area of the fight is now a bottomless crater, what the hell happened out there?" General Orion would sit with his hands clasped together.

"We summoned a godlike entity as our familiar is what happened." Ulkarion was not thrilled with this idea at all. He wanted a powerful familiar but what he saw and what he knew terrifies him more.

"Then that's amazing, we have the ability to strike our enemies where it hurts!" General Orion was ecstatic until a goblet of wine was thrown against his uniform.

"You idiot! The familiar has three tails of power and did that kind of damage. Her complete matured form is nine! Nine fucking tails of power, three of which can decimate the land. Next time it won't just be a little sand, maybe a chunk of our city if not the whole city could end up vanishing outside of history. Think about it, is that power safe to have within the walls of my city?" The room was silent because everyone was contemplating the words chosen by the demon lord.
