Harry Potter, the Boy-who-lived was meant to be great. He was not meant to be someone who rode on his luck to survive and was never the powerful wizard he was meant to be. Another Visit to Headmaster

September 1994

Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry

The First day of Hogwarts this year was full of excitement, curiosity and whisper.

Harry had spent an hour before his first class in the library and that was enough time for Hogwarts rumour mill to work in its first flow.

By the time Harry arrived to take his first, everyone was staring at him curiously. Some were very subtle about it while Slytherins were openly showing their animosity.

Harry could only chuckle thinking their reaction when they would learn his status as Lord Slytherin.

Most of his fellow students tried to avoid him and even his fellow Gryffindors seemed awkward with him.

Ron was very stiff around him and though the red hair boy tried to garner his attention by his actions, he did not start any conversation.

Hermione was the only student to stick with him, though her awkwardness could not be hidden. Though Harry knew that her awkwardness originated from her curiosity of firing, maybe few hundred questions in his direction.

Inwardly Harry applauded Hermione's resolve of not asking questions. She instead kept herself busy in the book whenever she got time.

Harry noticed two more pair eyes stealing glances on him.

First was Daphne Greengrass and second was Susan Bones.

Though Harry somewhat understood Daphne's reason, he wondered if Susan also had some specific reason or she mainly interested in him because of the alliance. He knew instinctively that it would be not long before Daphne would contact him.

The Great Hall, Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry

Having just finished his dinner, Harry was about to go to the Gryffindor tower when he caught Minerva McGonagall walking towards him.

Though he knew that this was bound to happen but he still inwardly groaned.

Minerva said, "Good evening Mr. Potter."

Harry replied, "Good evening Professor. I guess I am summoned to the headmaster's office."

Minerva let out a stiff smile, "Yes, Mr. Potter."

Harry nodded and gestured for Minerva to lead the way.

"I assume you would also be attending the meeting Professor," stated Harry.

Minerva nodded, "Yes, Mr. Potter."

Minerva walking ahead of Harry Potter had a stern but confused and anxious expression at her face.

She still had not been able to come to terms all what Harry had said during their previous conversation. For all she knew that Dumbledore was the person who will have the answers to the questions she had in her mind but she also knew that it was almost next to impossible to get answers from Dumbledore.

She was extremely surprised by Harry's new behaviour. Till last year he was a meek little boy with hardly any confidence.

But now he was a changed man.

With all her years of experience in magic she could feel the power Harry was holding back and the two times when Harry had let loose his magic even, she felt a bit suppressed.

Last year she would have never expected Harry Potter to look straight in her eyes and talk to her. That Harry would punch Draco Malfoy and threaten to kill him by invoking the old laws of blood feuds was something she had never thought even in her dreams.

She saw Lily and James in Harry Potter. She was somewhat happy that Harry had found his confidence to deal with the world.

The way he walked now and how his words carried weight gave all the resemblance to a confident James Potter and a powerful and smart Lily Potter.

On the other hand she shuddered at the ease with which Harry threatened to kill someone. Though she wanted to ask questions and try to explain Harry and guide him to a right path, she kept quiet for now. She had her own questions to be answered. And also, she never helped Harry deal with his problems in 3 years of school life, so what right did she have now to guide him?

Headmaster Office, Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry

Harry entered the office behind Minerva. The office was in the same condition as his previous visits.

Instinctively Harry's eyes were drawn towards the marvellous Gryffindor sword placed in the glass case. His hands itched to summon the sword and wield it.

He moved his eyes from the sword towards the occupants of the room.

Sitting behind his desk was Albus Dumbledore.

On the right side of desk occupying a chair was Severus Snape.

On the left side of the desk, on a desk like chair was Lucius Malfoy and Narcissa Black. In between them was Draco Malfoy who instantly sneered at Harry, probably thinking that he had secured some kind of victory.

Harry maintained his expressionless face and occupied one of the two chair, opposite the Headmaster.

Minerva sat on the other unoccupied chair, on Harry's left side.

"I am disappointed in you Harry," Dumbledore began the conversation.

Harry smirked inwardly thinking, 'old trick of the old coot to put someone in guilt'

Outwardly not even a muscle moved on Harry's face and he kept quiet and waited for another remark.

Dumbledore waited for Harry's response but sighed on reaction from him, "You should have not done that Harry. Hurting you classmates…. is not a good thing Harry, to say the least."

Harry nodded but without any change in expression and definitely not that of a guilt, "I understand Headmaster."

Dumbledore frowned, "Are you not even feeling a little guilty on your actions, Harry my boy? You injured Mr. Malfoy and then threatened to kill him."

Dumbledore put up the most disappointed face he could, "Though you have learned about your family, surely it is not a good thing flaunting it everywhere you go."

Snape chimed in, "What more could be expect from a brat who behaves as if he owns this place?"

Harry's anger rose and he stared at Snape with his glowing green eyes, "I don't think you clearly heard what happened in the corridor. Did you Snape?"

Shock was etched on everyone's face particularly Snape, Dumbledore and Minerva on the way he addressed Severus.

Harry continued, "Keep your mouth shut you greasy haired bat. I want a simple and quite year and don't come in my way."

"I don't think even you would be able to face me in a proper duel... after all you are nothing different than this ferret, calling people mudblood. Is it not another one of your specialities?" Added Harry.
