"Marie you have to wake up!"

Suddenly the woman on top of the bed opened her eyes and looked at the familiar figure near the door. As soon as the man found out that Marie didn't want to stand up and change into her uniform he shouted once again.

"Marie, stand up now we have to go NOW!"

After she heard his shouting's she was fully awake and went out of her bed in a hurry, rushed to her wardrobe grabbed her green black looking military uniform and spoke to the man.

"Jack wait for me outside while Iam dressing up."

Jack, without saying anything gave her a silent ok and went outside the room and closed the door.

S*** the alarm bells are so damn loud how could I not wake up! Iam definitely in deep sh**.

As Marie cursed herself she changed her last piece of cloth walked to the small round window in the room and looked outside. There she saw soldiers and civilians alike running around.

While the former are going to there designated posts the civilians are probably running to their homes to save themselves in fear of getting hit by either a soldier or a revolutionary.

Before Marie went outside to meet up with Jack she quickly glanced around the room to look if she forgot something.

As Marie pushed the door open she saw Jack waiting outside waiting for her.

"Took you long enough! When we get scolded and survive this you have to pay the next meals!"

"It´s ok we will be there in time don't worry."

Jack is always so afraid to get scolded at by the old man it´s not like he will put is in prison or hit us…

And so, both of them rushed to the palace entrances to see their commander waiting for them.

"What the hell took you both so long?" The commander furiously yelled at Marie and Jack.

Marie and Jack saluted before the commander and replied in total synchronisation.

"We are sorry sir!"

"Well its ok nothing mayor happened till now besides that these damned liberals have started a bloody war."

As the commander went on to tell them the actual status of the rebellion they walked to the weaponry to equip themselves with guns to defend the palace located at the city of Chagny.

All three of them picked up the newly invented flintlock named "Sur40k" and put the ammunition in their pouches.

After this they rushed to their designated place the backyard of the palace to prevent any possible rebels to gain entrance into the building.

And so some hours passed and another pair of soldiers walked to them. All of them equipped with the Sur40k and the standard uniform of the army.

"We are here to provide backup commander." Said one of the soldiers and saluted to the commander.

"Thanks, but well as you see here isn't anything going on at the moment so don't get bored."
