3 Past Continues

She typed her roll number and clicked submit. She closed her eyes and when after a minute she didn't hear any sound she opened her eyes and saw that site was still loading. All the eyes were on her. The room was soo silent that her heartbeats could be heard than the tickling of the clock.

Again after refreshing the site she clicked submit.

Tears started rolling from her eyes and then converted into sobbing. Her mom and dad could not understand and didn't utter a word thinking she failed.

The brother took the laptop in his hand and saw 'Pass' written on the screen.

'Congratulations di' he said and left the room. Then it clicked to their parents and that is when she was pulled into a hug by her mom.

It was the day for what she had been waiting for from past six years. The prefix now would be her and she could add them before her name. Finally CA Mari.

She was soo happy that she could not control herself. Instead of congratulating their daughter, her parents started informing their relatives.

After ten minutes when she became normal, she remembered her friend and dialed her number.

It was her mother who answered and congratulated her. She knew that Rix must be totally broken and felt sad for her. She was missing her a lot. Rix was the only one with whom she shared her happiness and all the sorrow. She was the only one who could understand Mari and comfort her.

The remaining day passed by just thanking so called relatives over the phone.

At night she received Rix's call and they talked but it was only for few minutes. Rix was a person to shut down when something went wrong with her, so it was normal. After talking to her she felt that her day was complete and drifted to sleep.
