4 Getting her First Job

Even before getting the results Mari had decided to leave her small city and start a job into a big city. After two days she had started applying for jobs in MNC's and was replying to most of the jobs and giving interviews. Rix had started her studies again and thus it was first time to do things without her friend. After a month she received a call from a company that she had secured her job.

She informed her parents and then called Rix. After being together for seven years she had to part ways with her.

For Mari getting a job in MNC's and in big city was like a dream come true. After two weeks she left for the city. Her parents did not even thought of going with her. She had herself found a flat with three rooms, each room had three beds. Her office was half an hour from her flat.

When she entered the room their were three beds but only one was occupied. Luckily the bed besides the window was empty and she took it. After paying the owner she started to make herself comfortable. As it was afternoon time, their was no one in the flat. All the girls were there either for working or studying.

After getting fresh she called her parents to inform that she landed safely. Later she texted Rix and knew that she wont get a reply up to Nine at night.

She laid all her belongings in the wardrobe and then left for seeing the area.

The building had its own play ground, gym, swimming pool and a library. She started her google map and went out. She had brought along with her all her savings and with that thought she searched for a mall. After hiring a cab she went for shopping. She brought instant food making packets and then went in clothing section. She brought her self corporate clothes, bags.

After roaming for about three hours she decided to go home. Her job would start early in the morning and she had never woke up before seven thirty, so she had to sleep early.

When she returned to her flat, she found out it was already noisy. She made her way to her room and her saw her roommate. She was very nice and instantly made Mari relaxed. Her name was Nira. She was working with a bank and was senior by three years. Nira introduced Mari to all other roommates and they all were welcoming. The girls were all from different places with different background but were living very nicely together. Nira had shared her tiffin with her and Mari shared her food which she had purchased.

It was nine thirty and she was laying on the bed. Feeling lonely was a part of her life even if she was sleeping at her own place and room. So been here did not make any difference. That's when her phone blinked. It was a message from Rix, 'Wish you all the best for your future dear.'

Mari sighed. She just texted back with a smiley. Rix had gotten into depression and used to cry all the day. She had other problems going on in her head but she was a girl who never used to share anything. Rix's mother had called and asked Mari if she knew anything, that is when she got to know her friend's situation.

Thinking that she drifted to a deep slumber.

A new day was going to welcome her tomorrow with a brand new life and with many different situations.
