Elly's POV

"He's really courting her!"

I stopped when I heard someone talk. I'm currently inside a cubicle in the school's bathroom.

"He is but I don't think he's serious."

I frowned, 'What does she mean ??'

Instead of going out, I stood near the door to hear more. I also didn't want to doubt Hero but... everything was so sudden. His actions... But, I accepted him because I like him and that's the truth. Even though my mind tells me not to like him, my heart tells me the opposite.

"Remember Grace?" - woman 1

"Yeah, didn't she dropped out last year?" - woman 2

" She dropped out because of Hero. After she confessed to him, he dated her then dumped her! I think it only lasted for two weeks? Yeah... Two weeks."

" What? He really is a jerk! A handsome jerk!!" the other woman squealed.

I rolled my eyes. Even if he's handsome, he's still a jerk. I should watch out for myself. I don't want to get hurt... like before.
