18 What is Magic?

This information is good in its own way but truthfully there is nothing I can do about it and even if I tell my race about this, what can be done when most of the government was already destroyed. By now only about 4 countries are still holding on and if I tell them this what can they do without power.

"Magic is what the elves have called this power since its birth and they say it's a power that is given to protect nature by Mother Nature. To us the Giant race it's a blessing from the gods and other races also have many ways to define it.

But after many years with it magic is just a way to manipulate the elements that make up the world, to control things like fire, water, metal, light, darkness, space and many more elements that are around us.

We have come to call ourselves elemental s, this title is only given to those who have reached a certain level of power in training their elements and an example of this is I who has reached the level of King in Earth element being able to travel to anywhere there is earth element within a 100 km.

The levels of this is from tyro which is like a beginner, people with magic talent are born at this level and after that is followed by Master level, Grand-master, Lord, King, to Emperor as for what comes after no one in all races have achieved this.

When it comes to training in elements it is hard at first if one is born without an element he can train with and the price to awaken an element for that person is not easy. When one reached the peak of elements it's all about becoming one with your element and having enough power in your body to support it.

A person can learn more than one element but aside from the one you were born with but the price to do so becomes harder and not many will be willing to pay it. That is why being born with an element is a blessing; the limit of elements one can attain beside the one he or she was born with is also one unless you were born with a special body and only a few I have seen in the elves race are like this.

To awaken an element in your body depends of the individual as not all are lucky to, the process mostly works when one is still young and there are two solutions to this problem. The first is the easy to do but hard to get magic blood from a King level beast which by just a drop can awaken those with potential an element they are compatible with.

The second one is the hard to find the elemental fruits which were found in the harshest environments, if you could get this then it's a done deal no matter what talent you had one could awaken an element with this fruit.

After you have awaken an element what comes is finding ways to master it, when it comes to this part everyone race has different ways to do it but all roads will lead to being able use your element without the use of the elements in the world. When we use the energy of elements in the world there are certain limits that we cannot cross, but if we were to make our bodies hold as much elemental power as possible we can do anything from creating deserts in a forest to creating a mountain in the middle of the sea.

The world if full of elemental power, objects like monster cores that houses the same power and if we were to have this power for our own in our bodies then using one's element one can create anything that corresponds with his or her elements."

'Amazing', what I was hearing went beyond anything I hopped for, doesn't this mean with my own element one day I can create my own space like in the wuxia novels as long as I have enough energy in my body. But to have that much energy was not easy and with such a power these races would not have been pushed to such desperation with other races.
