17 The War

The continent that appeared on Omega was not empty and a fierce battle started against it.This war would last a thousand years of a bloody war before we found ourselves no longer on planet Omega.

'What?' Silver was petrified at what he just heard, what was this guy talking about and for a war to last a thousand years how old was he.

"The new world was called Evergreen and like ours it was also beautiful. But unlike ours they had prepared to what was coming, with a divine message from a seer who had prophecies-ed the coming danger they made preparations and to us they were a new ally against that continent.

The new race called themselves elves; they were good with magic especially healing magic and nature magic. Their preparations were our relief, with a new ally we were able to hold the enermy at bay temporary and learn a little about them.

We learnt the name our enemy and it was the beast clans. There on the beast continent were the 99 beast clans, we learnt through interrogations that they travel searching for worlds to conquer, and our world was not the first as others had been absorbed of life force after defeat. They have a power that could let them travel to another world every 1000 years and if they cannot defeat an enemy within those years they would bring then along to the next world"

When he got there Silver was more confused about this beast clan's methods. Why would they bring another continent with them to another world do they not fear alliances that would cause their defeat.

"The reason for this is they cannot stay in a world for more than 1000 years as that is the only time they can manage to suppress the will of that world. If they cannot take the World's core within a 1000 year period they escape before it's will can fight back but as everything in not perfect the only weakness to their escape is that they bring along any other continents in that world"

"This has continued for long now, from our world yours is the 51th world we arrived to, as others worlds were too weak to protect their cores and us being weakened by the different world's rules many worlds had fallen and as you can see only 3 continents made it to here. There were mages who had studied the magic of the beast clans, they replicated it with a great price to pay to jump into your world earlier than planned and have the only thing the beast clans fear suppress it, the will of a world"

Silver was at a loose to what to do with this information, in a way anyone would have done the same in their position. In order to save their race everyone was willing to do anything even if that means the end of another race. Who then would be blamed for them trying to suppress the beast clan that would have at some point arrived to conquer whether ready or not?

"So what now, why tell me all these?"

"Just for you to know your enemies, I think their method was to rush if they had waited for another century maybe we would have had a strong ally but their fear of the beast clan made them resort to such thing. These people did wrong but they are not what your kind should be fighting, although the method worked, will they be ready when the suppression disappear, will they be enough without the allies of this world and who is to say that barrier will not break earlier that stated."

Silver had listened to the history but he was not in approval of what the mages had done, the humans deserved their chance of a century to be ready and many had died including his grandmother on their arrival but he knew that there was a greater enemy at play so he will get his justice when the time comes.
