26 Chapter - 23
[A/N: - Hello guys! It's been like a month and a half since I last updated, but yeah, fuck exams.
I have one last exam tomorrow and then finally getting my summer holiday.
This chapter was written in the past 2 days when I was fuming and having had enough, so I decided to "Fuck it, I am not in the mood to study, Imma write." And yeah this is the result.
I am rusty as hell, so the writing will be pretty much awkward as I felt like I was writing for the first time ever.
There will be a small recap for this arc at the beginning since most of you pretty much forgot what happened, so you can skip it if you remember.
This chapter is supposed to be about a half or a third of the chapter I wanted to write, but since I still need to study for my last exams I decided to upload it without writing the other part, and I'll "probably" write it in the next 3 days.

[3 minutes earlier]
Mo Qianni was walking from the elevator towards Lin Ruoxi's office after she came from the examination hall. It was the first time that all of their applicants failed all the tests, so she had to report to Ruoxi.
It was widely known that most of the applicants to the Public Relations departments in Yu Lei Internationals are horny males. So, with every advertisement of Yu Lei's PR Department, the company sets rules for the male applicants that pretty much make it impossible for them to be accepted.
Regardless of the wasted effort, some rich horny guys still go there in hopes of scoring points with the ladies in the PR Department, especially the Department Head, Mo Qianni.
The guys who came to apply are people that have money yet have nowhere to spend it, so they have come to find women.
This time however, all the females that took the tests also failed and it was the first time that something like this happened, so she had to consult Ruoxi.
Making her way through the hall, Mo Qianni stepped into the elevator as she pressed on the button of the top floor and waited till she arrived.
Qianni walked down the path towards Ruoxi's office as she was a bit surprised that Ruoxi's secretary and assistant, Wu Yue, haven't come to meet her. Thinking that Ruoxi might have called her inside the office, Qianni continued to walk till she arrived at the gorgeously carved milk-white door.
Just as she was about to knock on the door, she heard a muffle sound of a man inside. Feeling curious, Qianni got near the door as she heard something that sent a bolt of lightning on her head.
"AHAHAHAHA, Lin Ruoxi! You brought this upon yourself! Since you refuse to obey, you can kiss them goodbye!" (???)
It was the sound of the vigorous laughter of a man. Qianni felt that the voice is a bit familiar, but her brain was not free enough to think about any of this as she thought that someone was threatening her best friend!
She suddenly had her hand on her bag as she opened it quickly to search for the pepper spray she keeps for self-defense. She got it and got the phone on the other hand as she prepared to call the police.
"NOOO! Please don't hurt them! I will do whatever you want just leave them alone!" (Ruoxi)
She lost her reason when she heard her best friend screaming as she kicked the door open.
*BAANG!!*
"Leave Ruoxi alone, you scum! I'll call the po….lice?"
Qianni said with fury, which turned into a speechless expression before she finished the sentence.
Standing frozen after entering, Qianni was met with her best friend in a pleading position, as a familiar looking young man took a box of sweets as a hostage. Her brain couldn't comprehend the scene in front of her, so she could only say what came to her mind.
"What the hell?!"
Was what Mo Qianni asked while looking at her best friend.
The gears in her brain worked extremely fast and she finally came to the conclusion that her best friend was actually joking and roleplaying with that young man. She however felt that she was seeing an illusion. The ice-cold, diligent, and dignified Lin Ruoxi was actually roleplaying with a young man in her office.

Jin and Ruoxi were frozen stiff seeing that Mo Qianni broke into the office like that.
Jin was calm and thanked his [Omni-Gamer's Mind] for the poker face, however the same couldn't be said about Ruoxi.
Ruoxi's face was red as a tomato that was ready to be eaten. She was extremely embarrassed that she wished that a hole would open in the office floor and swallow her. She was fidgeting with her mouth opening and closing without even letting a voice out.
Seeing that they have somehow activated [The World] and stopped in their tracks, Jin decided to break the awkward atmosphere as he spoke with a harmless smile.
"Hello there, Miss Mo. It's been about a year since our last meeting, how are you doing?"
The Chuuni Primordial walked away from the window naturally like nothing happened and all the previous acting were illusions as he sat on the sofa and put the box of glutinous rice balls on the table again.
Mo Qianni finally snapped out of her trance as she remembered who that celestially handsome young man was. She was shocked by her friend's state that she ignored him before, but she finally remembered Ruoxi's senior that she has been simping about in her talks with her before, especially in Ruoxi's college days.
They have met many times, but their relationship is just that of more than acquittances and less than friends.
"Ah, yes. Mr. Shenyu, it's been a while indeed. I am fine, thanks for asking."
Replied Mo Qianni after she regained her bearings.
"So…. Are you guys going to explain what was happening right now?"
Asked Mo Qianni while looking at both Jin and Ruoxi.
"What was happening? Did something happen?"
Asked a bewildered Jin with 'genuine' confusion as he looked towards Qianni.
Seeing that he tried playing dumb, she looked towards Ruoxi who took the opportunity when they were talking to start eating her lunch to avoid any further embarrassment.
Ruoxi sensing Qianni's gaze quickly stuffed her mouth with food in an unlady-like manner as she spoke with her mouth full.
"Aaam eedin dun buza mi." (I am eating don't bother me.)
However, she still directed a gaze filled with resentment like a wronged wife towards Jin who made her lose her dignity in front of her best friend like this. Jin however was having a really hard time trying to suppress his laughter looking at Ruoxi who stuffed her mouth like a squirrel while looking angry at him. Her appearance right now was anything but intimidating, she was absolutely adorable!
*Snap*
He took his phone out and snapped a picture of the current state of Ruoxi which made her freeze in her place as she was not expecting this.
After realizing what happened, she stood up quickly and tried to snatch the phone from his hand.
"DELETE TH- *COUGH* *COUGH* *COUGH*" (Ruoxi)
She couldn't complete her words as she chocked on her food and started coughing.
Seeing her like this, Jin started patting her back gently as he handed her a water bottle that came out oof nowhere.
She drank the water as she stopped coughing and calmed down.
"Feeling better?" (Jin)
"Yes, thank you."
Said Ruoxi as she took a deep breathe to calm herself down.
"Wait a second, it's all your fault! Why did you take a picture, delete it now!"
Said an angry and flustered Ruoxi as she tried to snatch the phone again from him but to no use. He was taller than her and she couldn't make his arm bulge even when she almost hanged on it. She took notice of how hard his arm is, she felt like she was touching some metal. She knew from her university days that her senior is a really strong martial artist after he beat the living crap out of the martial arts club before, but she has never felt his body up-close like this time here right now. Her face was burning while thinking that his arm is really strong and manly.
In reality however, Ruoxi was not really angry, she was just extremely embarrassed that her best friend had to see her like this. If they were alone, then s-she might have let him take such e-embarrassing photos of her…. I-It's a normal thing to do as his w-wife, r-right?
"*cough* Can you guys stop flirting for a moment and pay attention that you are not alone?"
The mood was suddenly ruined by the cough of an irritated Qianni that felt like her veins are going to burst.
She broke into the office trying to help her best friends, but now her best friend totally ignored her and started flirting and didn't even register her presence. She didn't stop them because she was feeling extremely jealous seeing them, alright?!
Hearing her saying that they were flirting, Jin smirked and Ruoxi had imaginary steam coming from her ears as her Ruoxi_Brain.exe stopped working.
"Ok, we will stop flirting."
Jin said with a harmless(shameless) smile as he nodded his head in 'acknowledgement' to her words.
"W-We were not f-flirting!"
Ruoxi, whose brain restarted couldn't help but weakly deny her best friend's claim.
It took a couple of minutes to diffuse the current atmosphere as they all sat around the table.
"So Qianni, why did you come here?"
Asked Ruoxi while 'elegantly' eating her food.
"It's about the new PR Department recruitment exam."
Qianni said in a taciturn manner as she glanced at Ruoxi then towards Jin who was currently playing the remake version of Tsukihime on his phone while thinking about paying that world a visit in the future, but he shelved the idea since he technically just left a TYPE-MOON world, so it might take him a while to visit another Nasuverse, not to mention that he is 'currently' in Fate/Grand Order as well.
Ruoxi getting what her friend was warried about signaled her to continue since it was not really any company secret.
"Don't mind me, I'm just here on Wang Ma's request to forc-*cough* make Ruoxi eat her food, then I'm visiting a friend here in the PR Department and going home. I'm not interested in whatever company business you guys are talking about."
Said an uninterested Primordial as he went back to his game leaving the two women to their serious talk.
"Wang Ma?"
Qianni looked questioningly at Ruoxi who shook her head and told her that she will talk about it with her later.
The two women then sighed at the same time as they got back to their talk.
"All the applicants for the PR Department failed the test this year, so we are currently with no new employees, and we are currently shorthanded especially with the new vacant position in the PR department."
Qianni then reported to Ruoxi what happened in the hall, and that only three women could make it till then final phase of the test.
Hearing that they are in need for a new employee for the PR Department and no one passed, Ruoxi got a 'brilliant' idea as her eyes shone with anticipation!
She looked towards Jin who was immersed in his game and her idea seemed even more appealing.
If Jin agreed to take that position, wouldn't she go to work with him every day?! And she will have an excuse to call him to her office whenever she wanted! And since he is always at home and she knows that he is not working right now, there is a high chance he would accept!
The more she thought about it, the more appealing the idea seemed. Just as she was about to ask him, she heard him speak.
"Next you will say 'Senior Jin, why don't you take this vacant spot here in the PR Department.'."
Jin looked away from the screen as he pointed his finger towards Ruoxi while speaking.
"What the…"
Ruoxi was dumbfounded that he could tell what she was about to say. It was as if he was rea-
"No, I didn't read your mind."
Said a smirking Jin.
"Stop that!" (Ruoxi)
"Anyway, taking the vacant seat in the PR Department huh…. It doesn't really sound that bad."
Jin thought for a moment as he weighed the pros and cons.
The pros that he will be in a working environment with flirty beautiful women, and he will kill a lot of time.
The cons that he will be restricted by working hours and bullshit like that, and there is also a trap there.
Seeing that he weighed his options, he made his decision.
"So, you will accept?!"
Ruoxi asked beaming with happiness.
"DAGA KOTOWARU!" (I REFUSE!)
Responded the Otaku Primordial with a JoJo pose.
Ruoxi felt deflated hearing his answer so she asked.
"Why? Didn't you say it doesn't sound that bad?!"
"You should know that one of my favorite pastimes is saying 'NO!' to people who think they're getting their way. I feed on their misery!"
Continuing with his JoJo poses, he spoke like it was the most natural thing ever.
"I am speaking seriously here."
Said a frustrated Ruoxi seeing that he was not taking her seriously at all.
"I am honestly not interested in working for someone. Not like I'm lacking money and you sure enough know it. Adding the fact that I am currently working!" (Jin)
"You are working?"
Ruoxi was stunned hearing him. She knew that he was not working because he is lazy to do so, so when did he find a job?
"I started today. I am going to be a streamer, I even made it to the top 10 on Twitch today hehehe~" (Jin)
"Ok, this is my final answer, so don't bring it up again as I am really not interested."
He said that as he went back to his game.
Feeling disappointed, Ruoxi told Qianni to choose one of the women who failed at the last test to take this position.
After finishing their talk, Qianni took her leave while giving Jin one last glance before closing the door.
Jin then shifted his attention to Ruoxi who was currently eating her glutinous rice balls with blissful expression. She was taking small bites while holding the rice ball with her two hand, she looked incredibly cute that she looked like a hamster eating sunflower seeds.
Seeing that she finished her lunch and that his job here is done, Jin decided to take his leave while visiting Hongyan in the PR Department on his way out.
"Since you finished your lunch, my job here is done. Don't overwork yourself, your body won't be able to handle all that stress, okay?"
Jin said as he prepared to leave as he walked towards the door.
Ruoxi looked at his leaving back with reluctance, but it soon changed into a small blissful smile as she heard him worrying about her.
"Un!"
Was all she could say while gently nodding her head with flushed cheeks.
It felt really good having someone taking care of her and worrying about her like this. She felt drunk on this feeling.
On his way to the elevator, he was met with Lin Ruoxi's assistant, Wu Yue. She has a slightly pretty face, but she was lacking in all other departments. Also, her trying to imitate Ruoxi's ice-queen demeanor is also a minus point for her.
"Good day to you, Miss Wu."
Jin still greeted her as he passed by. They met a few times, and they could be called acquaintances, but that's it.
"Good day to you, Mr. Shenyu."
Replied Wu Yue with her 'ice-cold' voice.
Not paying her any more attention, Jin made his way towards the elevator while having a single thought in his head.
'She is nicely dressed, the only thing she forgot to wear are tits. It's like a piece of glass, she got neither tits nor ass.'
Pressing on the number 18 on the elevator which only had the PR Department, Jin scanned the building to locate his target, but smirked as he sensed something interesting in the same direction he was heading to.
After using his powers to accelerate the elevator, Jin took his phone out as he called Ruoxi.
[Ruoxi, come to the 18th floor, it's urgent and for your company's sake as well.]
He didn't wait for her to respond as he ended the call as he put the phone in the chest pocket of his suit's jacket as it started recording video.
Right after he got out of the elevator, he walked through the hallway towards the PR Department, this hallway was built using reinforced glass. The transparency allowed the golden radiance of the sun to fall upon every nook and cranny inside. This made the hallway exude an aura of warmth, beauty, and energy. On another note, it is only like this because they are nearing winter, normally it'll be hot as fuck because who the fuck would need concentrated sun rays in the summer. Now back to the main point.
Jin however was not really in the mood to appreciate the architecture of the place as his company had a waaaaaaaaaaaaay better looking design and he was going for something interesting around the corner.
After nearing a certain corner of the hallway, Jin heard the voices of a male and a female. And like any normal person from the era of smartphones, he started filming.
Hurray for the phone that gives zero fucks about the concept of distance as the faces and voices are as clear as they could get on the screen.
On the screen, there were a man and a woman, the man should belong to the higher management in the company. He wore a white business shirt and suit pants, and he had a seemingly fat figure with a bald head. He wasn't tall, but had a clean appearance, and had a pair of small eyes. [A/N: - Copied from the original.]
As for the woman, he could recognize her based on the drunkard ranting of Zhao Hongyan when she was talking about her colleagues from work. She wore a light purple outfit and dyed her hair with streaks of purplish-red, along with that graceful and well-developed curves. This was precisely Liu Mingyu, Hongyan's colleague.
[A/N: - Hongyan is the daughter of the rice ball shop owner in the previous chapter.]
Jin continued to listen as the phone captured all what was happening.
"Department Head Ma, I really have something on today. We can go another time when there's a chance."
At this moment, Liu Mingyu's face was a little pained, as she forcefully smiled and spoke.
"Oh, Liu Mingyu, you have already rejected my invitation more than 10 times consecutively. What? Is it so hard for you to have a drink with an old man like me? Or do you simply look down on me?"
The one that was called Department Head Ma smiled with deep hidden meaning as he spoke.
Jin who was listening to this crap felt like vomiting.
"That's not it Department Head Ma. I... I really have something on, tomorrow I still have to negotiate with a client, I honestly have no time."
Liu Mingyu frowned as she looked with hidden disgust towards the pig in front of her.
The smiling face of the pig gradually faded away, and he spoke with a tone filled with coldness and even his voice was raised a little as he could barely contain his anger.
"Liu Mingyu, you better not fail to appreciate my kindness. Don't think that I'm unaware of the rotten things you are doing with those clients of yours. In the whole company, about 70 to 80 percent of the employee know about you, so what are you pretending to be pure and virtuous for!"
Liu Mingyu's eyes turned a little moist hearing his claim, but she still resolutely endured, with her voice clearly turning cold as an iceberg, she spoke.
"Department Head Ma, you... Department Head Ma, please do not spout nonsense. Rumors and slanders cannot decide what kind of person I truly am."
"Hahahaha... You are always the number one in performance every year; do you really think we are too stupid to see what kind of rotten woman you are? You are like a flower in our PR Department that is only for outsiders to pluck, Liu Mingyu you are being too stingy... So, don't go and refuse a toast only to be forced to drink a forfeit."
The pig revealed a nasty and wretched smile as he continued to speak.
"But be at ease, as if you go for a drink with me... I won't treat you unfairly. The end of year bonuses and whatnot can always be discussed after we are done."
"Department Head Ma, please respect yourself!"
Liu Mingyu turned her head away, seemingly unwilling to speak more, pain was shown on her charming pretty face.
"Ah!"
Screamed Mingyu in pain as the fat pig forcefully grabbed her hand.
"Come on, just a couple of drinks and no harm is done, what do you say?"
Asked the fat pig as he spoke with a tone that seemed to accept no for an answer while looking at Mingyu. She however was extremely scared as her eyes turned red as she was almost crying.
Jin couldn't take listening to this pig anymore, so he stepped in to end this farce.

Walking silently toward the pair, he flicked the head of the pig as the latter screamed from pain.
"AAAGH! Who the hell are you?! How dare you hit me?!"
The pig screamed as he suddenly shivered as he became worried that this newcomer heard what he was saying.
Liu Mingyu suddenly snapped out of her trance as she looked at her savior and froze in her place. She has never seen someone as handsome as him in her entire life. Looking at him, she felt her heart beating rapidly, but she quickly shook her head as she reminded herself of the promise she made with her boyfriend before he travelled abroad. She didn't even notice that the pig has already freed her arm.
"Me? My name is Jef-*cough*
I was just passing by this area and heard some kind of oinking from this direction, so I came to check if some kind of animal made his way indoor here, but to my surprise I found a cliché of fantasy books of an orc courting a beautiful lady, so I decided to watch it."
Replied Jin as he looked at the pig in front of him who was looking at him with an extremely furious expression.
"Pfft."
Mingyu couldn't hold back and laughed a little as she felt extremely safe as her fear completely disappeared while looking at her savior.
"Brat, do you know who you are talking to?!"
Shouted the pig looking at the nonchalant Jin.
"I don't know, and I don't care either. I just heard some pig trying to force his way into someone's skirt because he lacks the ability to court them properly, so I came to watch the fun." (Jin)
"Nonsense! Brat, don't slander me, if you have no evidence for your claim then speak nonsense again, and I will personally fire you and end your entire career! Aren't you an employee here? I will make you see how dare you offend your superiors! Now, scram from here and I'll forgive you for hitting me earlier!"
The pig shouted in irritation and a hint of fear as he pointed at Jin. He was extremely angry for being disturbed while almost finally getting his prey by some kind of nosey small-time employee.
When Jin appeared to save her, Liu Mingyu at first felt extremely secured and happy inside, but when she saw Department Head Ma threatening him, she was worried about him, and constantly tried to hint at Jin to leave quickly before getting dragged into this mess.
Seeing that Jin had no intention of leaving as he winked at her, she didn't care about her blushing face as she was about to tell him to leave her and go, but she didn't get the chance to do so as she was disturbed.
From away, the echo of heels hitting the floor was heard, as it was accompanied by a dignified ice-cold and bone-chilling voice.
"What is going on here?"
Asked Lin Ruoxi who was accompanied by Mo Qianni.
[A couple of minutes earlier]
When Ruoxi got Jin's call, she thought that he was facing a problem in the PR Department, so she called Qianni to meet her there as she hurried to the elevator.
Once she got out of the elevator and was met by Qianni, they made their way to the empty hallway as they saw the head of the Finance Department arguing with Jin and a scared Liu Mingyu was next to them.
Getting a general idea about the situation, Ruoxi's happy mood from her earlier encounter with Jin dropped to the bottom as she spoke with a chilling voice towards the pig.
[Back to the present]
"What happened is that I was assaulted by this barbarian when I was having a nice chat with Liu Mingyu here."
The pig jumpstarted as he pointed at the smiling Jin and fabricated a story so he can get away from this situation while blaming the kid that interrupted his fun. As for Liu Mingyu, he wasn't afraid that she would tell the truth, because she wouldn't dare, right?
Well, reality is always disappointing as…
"Mingyu, is this what really happened?"
Asked Ruoxi who was squinting her eyes while looking at the pig.
"This is not what had happened, CEO Lin!"
Said an agitated Liu Mingyu. She was still frozen from the sudden appearance of her superior and CEO, but when the pig tried to frame her benefactor, she gathered her courage to speak the truth. She doesn't know the reason of her superior and boss being here, but since they are here, she must clear the name of her savior since she is not such an ungrateful person.
Ruoxi frowned even more as she spoke.
"Then what happened?"
"CEO Lin, she is lying! I was hit on my head by him, you can even see the bruise on my head!"
Screamed the pig while pointing at the bruise on his bald head as he glared hatefully at Mingyu who flinched from his gaze.
"Mingyu?"
Ruoxi looked at her as she wanted to learn the full story of what happened.
Jin seeing that they were not going anywhere, decided to speak. He knows that any girl would be uncomfortable saying that she was sexually harassed so he saved her the embarrassment.
"Ruoxi, this pig here was about to sexually assault her."
He nonchalantly pointed at the fuming pig.
"LIES! I was only having a nice chat with Liu Mingyu here, isn't this what happened, Liu Mingyu?!"
He glared at Mingyu with hatred as he shouted again.
"Haaah, this is going nowhere. Dude, you should know that phones right now are pretty advanced, they can capture both audio and video at the same time." (Jin)
"Y-You! What do you mean?!"
Having a bad premonition, the pig asked fearfully.
"Since your sesame-sized brain can't comprehend it, let me break in for you."
As he said this, Jin took his phone and started playing the recorded video, showing everything that happened form the start till Jin interfered.
Seeing that this kid got a solid evidence on him, the pig on contrary to the pleasantly surprised faces of the three woman had a pale face as if the blood disappeared from it.
Looking at the smug smile on Jin's face, the pig felt like something inside him shattering as the last bit of his reasoning disappeared.
"It's all your fault! If you had never interfered, none of this would have happened! I will fucking kill you!"
Screamed the pig as he rushed towards the smiling Jin to punch him.
"Jin!" (Ruoxi)
"Nooo!" (Liu Mingyu)
"Watch out!" (Mo Qianni)
Jin however didn't lose his smirk as he slightly titled his head avoiding the punch. The pig being short was in an awkward pose as he looked like he was striking a flying Superman pose with his punch.
After avoiding the punch, Jin grabbed his arm and shirt as he effortlessly lifted the pig and judo-slammed the shit out of him.
"ARGH!!"
The pig screamed as a banshee from the slam, but he didn't know that it was just the beginning.
The girls however had stars in their eyes while looking at Jin's 'dashing' figure as he beat up the bad guy. He looked like a knight in silver armor saving a princess.
The 'Dashing' Primordial then went and crouched near the pig as he spoke with low voice that only he could hear.
"Do you know that I was the ace of a football team before?"
He spoke with a neutral tone, but the pig couldn't comprehend what Jin was hinting at as the pain from the fall was too much for him.
"Well, the reason is actually pretty simple….
I am great at kicking balls."
As he finished saying this and stood up and walked the other way, the pig went pale even more as he realized what was going to happen. He was about to plead for mercy, but he was too slow.
"If you can only force your way with women like this to satisfy 'it', then you don't really need 'it'."
Jin went in front of him and raised his leg in a kicking position and shot the 'ball'.
*crack*
It was a goal indeed as the balls cracked and travelled up to the same height as the bladder.
