Prologue

Reincarnation seems like a fantasy, but right now... I'm just confused.

"You're the first to die with the theme of 'most pathetic deaths of the year!' Congratulations, I will grant you three wishes and reincarnate you with your memories."

Floating in front of me was a cat, who is presumably a ROB. Damn it. I thought I could finally see my parents again after I accidentally died from a heart attack while holding hands with a cosplayer during a convention.

Perhaps, the ability to summon any fictional characters I want? That seems solid, and I would love to meet characters from fiction. If I could revive my parents, they would probably hate me for ruining their paradise of no work. My other wish… I missed an opportunity when I rejected going to an acting school, so maybe I could wish max level bullshitting and acting? Something like Naruto's Talk-no-Jutsu sounds very OP. Having someone besides me would also be nice, someone to help me, someone I could rely on… Someone who could take care of my laziness.

"Very well. I shall send you into the world of…. Highschool DxD! Congratulations! You won a semi-paradise grade world from the roulette. I shall create an alternate timeline with no parallel universes, just for you to enjoy and mess around with it. See you in a century!"

With that, my consciousness faded away, carried by the warmth of the void as I heard the cat one last time, in a panicked voice.

"Damn! I'm not paid enough for this! I need to merge these worlds together..."
