1 CHAPTER 1: FIRST DAY OF SENIOR HIGH (1)

SKY

"Sissy, sissy, you have to wake up." I heard Caria's voice waking me up from my beautiful dreams.

"What?" I replied without opening my eyes to look at her.

"I think you should get up by now or you are going to be late for school." She said as I quickly opened my eyes and looked up at my wall clock. My little sister laughed as she goes out of my room.

"Uurgh…" I rushed to my bathroom. Do my morning routine for just 15 minutes in the bathroom then 5 minutes getting on my clothes for school and a little check on my face in the mirror.

'Hwala!I am done.'

When I entered the kitchen saw my mom and dad. And of course, my little sister was already eating breakfast.

"Good morning, family." I said as I smiled at them.

"What took you so long to wake up on your first day of school being in senior year?" My mother Shana asked raising her one eyebrow at me.

I grinned at her as I kissed her cheek and Dad Colton too.

"You hurry up, young lady." My dad said as he sipped his coffee. "Eat your breakfast kiddo."

"Yes! Dad." I smiled.

After I am done with my breakfast, I said goodbye to my beloved parents and my little sister. My parents gave me my 18th birthday gift and it was a car.

Actually, they gave all of their children a car when we reached 18. It was not so expensive car but it was a brand new one.

My mom does not like buying us expensive one because we are only 18 even, they could afford to it. They want us to be humble all the time. My other siblings were already had the same when they were at my age now and finished schooling.

Well, let's go back to my family tree. It started with my Dad Colton fell in love with my Mom Shana when she was 25 years of age. A junior accountant in my dad's family company, they got married and they got us.

My mom gave birth on her first pregnancy- the twins.

Christian Soren Torres, eldest one, Christina Shea Torres, the second. After a year my brother Charles Sami Torres was born.

Five years later, I came, Callie Skylar Torres. I was glad that I was not the younger sibling they have. When we found out our mother was pregnant again. Caria Sarah Torres is 13 now we are 5 years apart.

When she was born, we were so happy knowing we have additional sibling in the family. All of us are very close and I could not remember we were fighting over something when we were younger even Caria.

Maybe because of our age gaps or my parents taught us to love one another and be there for each other.

When our older siblings finished high school and gone for college. I was kind of lonely because our house seems so quiet. Caria was not always staying at home during weekends because she stays at my Uncle Zed's house, my mom's brother on the next blocks.

Zany and Caria were best of friends aside of being cousins. They go to the same school with the same age. As of me, I do not have the same age with my cousins. Luckily, I have Cindy, my best friend in school.

I reached the school 15 minutes before the first bell rings. I parked my car in my usual spot and quickly got out. After I close the door and turned around, I accidentally bumped into someone.

"Ouch" I said. That was hurt, you know I seems like I bumped into a very hard wood.

"Will you watch where you're going?" He said and I looked up I know who it was. 'Capital…E-I-A-N' Eian.

His eyebrows were meeting each other as he glanced at me then walked away.

"What a first day high!" I murmured and walking faster to the same direction.

I went to my designated locker and put my thing then just pulled out my books needed.

"Hey gurl," I turned my head to my left and saw my best friend Cindy smiling at me.

"Hi!" I replied as I closed my locker.

"Now, can I see your schedule please?" Cindy said as she grabbed the paper from my hand. "Yes! I knew it except some but it does not matter anyway." She shouted.

"What? What!" I asked in confuse.

"Well, I knew it that we all got the same schedule for this year. Oh yeah!" She was jumping like crazy as always. "But there are some we do not have." Feeling depressed. I laughed, shaking my head.

I already knew that we have the same schedule because it will always do just like every year.

Cindy and I have been friends since seventh grade after I transferred to our school. I came from the different school which at that time I got trouble.

I got pissed with my so-called friends who I thought they were real. I did not know that they only been so kind and friendly to me because of my family status. I punched my ex-best friend for being a b*tch.

My parents transferred me and so far, so good I survived without causing any of it. I even told my parents that I will lay low my profile so that I can find real friends that will not look into our status in life.

They agreed so does my siblings especially my older sister did the same experience before. I want to have true friends even just one. I am contented with it and then I met Cindy.

She did not know the real me and we were clicked until we found out that her mother works in our company as one of my mother's staffs in Accounting Department in Dad's businesses.

She kept it for years and never changed not one bit. Both her family was so nice and kind. My parents like them too.

"Come on, we might be late in our first subject and I do not want that. This is our last year in high school and I want it to be the best before going to college." I spoke.
